Fort Peck Dam following initial landslide believed to have created SCP-XXXX-1A
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be held in 2x1x1 meter hermetically vacuum-sealed steel containment lockers equipped with a device capable of measuring internal pressure. This containment locker is to be placed in a hermetically sealed containment cell with an airlock entrance equipped with a pressure-resistant sprinkler system connected to the site’s water supply. No ventilation systems are to be constructed within 5 meters of the exterior of the containment cell. SCP-XXXX-3 that accumulates within the containment locker should be disposed of weekly in a hermetically sealed container through the on-site incinerator by D-Class personnel wearing Class I biohazard containment suits.
Significant changes in levels of internal pressure within the containment locker should immediately be reported to the acting site director. Should pressure levels exceed 104 Pa, the containment cell is to be flooded with water and MTF Mu-3 "Tree Trimmers" are to be immediately deployed to the site, equipped with no less than Class II biohazard containment suits. SCP-XXXX-3 collected is then to be disposed of in accordance with standard procedure.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to have mausoleums bearing false names constructed to encase the site, and the sites are to be monitored to ensure as little interference as possible. Should any individual attempt to interfere with the containment area, they are to be escorted off the premises by Foundation agents undercover as groundskeepers. In the event that these agents fail to deter interference, the offending individual is to be detained and given a Class C amnestic.
The town of Fort Peck, Montana, United States of America, is to be monitored for the appearance of any new instances of SCP-XXXX-1. In addition, any historical accounts of the Fort Peck Dam landslide are to be altered to indicate only 6 unrecovered bodies, and any mentions or searches of the names “Bradford Teller” and or “Danica White” are to be flagged and monitored to assure no connection to the Fort Peck Dam. Instances of missing persons or unrecoverable bodies within the vicinity of Fort Peck are to be similarly investigated.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to an anomalous phenomenon affecting the skeletonized remains of Bradford Thomas Teller two individuals, SCP-XXXX-1A, and SCP-XXXX-1B. The phenomenon takes effect when any event disturbing any SCP-XXXX-2 site takes place. Should any disturbance befall these locations, the affected remains will begin producing SCP-XXXX-3 in direct proportion to the amount and severity of disturbance. Current testing has shown that both sets of remains will begin producing SCP-XXXX-3 regardless of which site experienced the disturbance.
SCP-XXXX-1A has been confirmed to be the skeletonized remains of a 28-year-old male human by the name of Bradley Thomas Teller. SCP-XXXX-1A was a construction worker contracted to work on the Fort Peck Dam along The Missouri River in Northeastern Montana, U.S.A., and fell victim to the landslide that occurred during construction on September 22nd, 1938. Of the ██ bodies declared to the public to be unable to be recovered from the incident, SCP-XXXX-1A is the only set of remains found to possess anomalous properties. SCP-XXXX-1A was initially recovered following Incident XXXX-01.
SCP-XXXX-1B refers to the partially decomposed remains of a 39-year-old female by the name of Danica Rose White. In contrast to SCP-XXXX-1A, SCP-XXXX-1B has been significantly damaged prior to manifestation of anomalous properties. These damages include fractures of the radius and ulna of both arms, a completely flattened and fractured pelvis, and a missing index and middle finger on the left hand, which appear to have been severed by a bladed instrument between the middle and proximal phalanx shortly before death. It is unknown if these missing digits also produce SCP-XXXX-3, and efforts are currently underway to recover the bone fragments.
SCP-XXXX-1B was employed as an accountant by the now-defunct accounting agency [DATA EXPUNGED], notable for having a high percentage of clients involved in construction, and was reported missing October ███ 2011. Financial records and paperwork related to an internal investigation within the company show that she was suspected of embezzling $█.32 million USD, and Foundation forensic investigations indicate she was likely involved in organized crime. SCP-XXXX-1B was initially recovered by officer [DATA EXPUNGED] of the Fort Peck police department, after an anonymous tip1 led him to the partially decomposed body on the northern bank of the Missouri River. SCP-XXXX-01 was recovered by Foundation agents following Incident XXXX-02.
Both recovered instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are unable to be damaged through conventional means, and respond to such attempts by dramatically increasing SCP-XXXX-3 production for the duration, which not only blocks most precision machinery from interacting with the remains, but can also produce pressure high enough to break heavy-duty equipment.
SCP-XXXX-2 refers to the memorial sites dedicated to the individuals associated with the SCP-XXXX-1 instances. Through testing, the exact dimensions of the sites have been found to extend two (2) meters from the associated memorial in all directions. Should any disturbance (disturbance qualifying as any measurable change to the surrounding soil and associated memorial) befall the site, all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will begin production of SCP-XXXX-3. It is unclear exactly what determines the rate at which SCP-XXXX-3 will be produced, and testing has been unable to reveal the ideal conditions of SCP-XXXX-2 sites, resulting in constant small-scale production of SCP-XXXX-3 at an average rate of ██.6 cm^3 per hour. The maximum recorded production rate was ██2,000 cm^3 produced per hour during Incident I-XXXX-03.
SCP-XXXX-3 is a form of Ipomoea leptophylla (Bush Morning Glory) pollen that is anomalously generated from SCP-XXXX-1 instances. The pollen forms through a currently unknown process within the porous exterior of the skeletal remains of SCP-XXXX-1 instances that are exposed to their environment. Any skeletal surfaces that are obstructed by their own flesh such as in SCP-XXXX-1B do not produce SCP-XXXX-3. In addition to its anomalous generation, SCP-XXXX-3 causes moderate to severe anaphylaxis in any animal capable of inhaling the grains, analogous to a severe peanut allergy. Death can occur in as little as ████ (█) minutes following exposure to high concentrations of SCP-XXXX-3. When SCP-XXXX-3 is used to pollinate non-anomalous Ipomoea leptophylla, the offspring do not exhibit any anomalous properties.
