Date: (DATA INCOMPLETE)
Subjects: SCP-4129 & D-0363A
Parameters: SCP-4129 is instructed to perform its anomalous action on D-0363A from behind a concrete barrier and bulletproof glass. It is given a pen and paper in order to perform this.
Preamble: D-Class had been exposed to SCP-████ and became an instance of SCP-████-1. D-0363A proceeded to breach containment on several occasions. Use of SCP-4129 was authorized for neutralization.
Summary Result: SCP-4129 was informed of D-0363A's given name and instructed to induce its anomalous effect. D-0363A managed to ascertain SCP-4129's location and attempted termination. After sustaining minor injury, SCP-4129 managed to write D-0363A's name in its blood.
Exercise has been deemed a failure. Terminating SCP-████-1 was top priority. We tried to terminate the D-Class, but another would just show up in its place. O-5 Council deemed it necessary utilize SCP-4129 on the researchers who postulated testing. But it seems the idea just spreads to another researcher. Who knows how long we've been losing researchers to this.
DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE PERFORM ANY HUMAN TESTS WITH SCP-████. IT WILL RESULT IN [DATA EXPUNGED]
Picture of SCP-4129-2 after it had appeared in the Foundation Parking Lot
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4129 is to be housed at site 81 within Suite 32A. At least 2 armed security personnel are to be present and 24 hour surveillance is to be maintained at all times. SCP-4129 is restricted from the act of writing under any circumstance, except under testing with expressed written permission from Director Aleksei Novgorod. All personnel involved with direct contact with SCP-4129 are required to remove name tags and badges prior to entering containment. SCP-4129 (2) possess reality altering properties. Because of this, all testing must utilize SCP-4129-2 as a control. Personnel are instructed to place an SCP Foundation Recording device within SCP-4129-2 before testing is initiated. All data is to be subsequently analyzed to ensure proper data recording.
Description: SCP-4129 is an adult Haitian-American male, approximately 1.8 meters in height and weighing approximately 90.1 kgs. It is estimated to be in its mid-20’s to early 30’s. At the time of containment, SCP-4129 was in possession of a shopping cart, designated SCP-4129-2, that retains anomalous properties. Within SCP-4129-2, were numerous additional items. These included a journal, year books, a collection of photos, passports, identification cards and 3 recording devices. These items were referred to by SCP-4129 as "hiccups," or items pertaining to any individual of whom it has used its anomalous ability. SCP-4129 is ostensibly homeless, attributing this lifestyle to the nature of its ability. SCP-4129 is capable of erasing any person's existence from reality. SCP-4129 performs this anomalous action by writing the person's name on any surface. This action summons an unseen entity known as "Nathan," or SCP-4129-1. SCP-4129-1 then causes that person's eventual disappearance. Performing this action retroactively changes reality to accommodate the absence of the target. With the exception of "hiccups," most digital records, recording devices, objects, and memories will be affected by this action. SCP-4129 refuses to describe or talk about SCP-4129-1 in any detailed capacity and becomes agitated when questioned about its nature. It is believed that SCP-4129 speaks to it directly, as it is often observed to be communicating with someone even when no personnel are present. SCP-4129 was apprehended attempting to break into Foundation Facility 81 on ██/██/████ . SCP-4129 was found to be in possession of a Foundation identification card that did not belong to any known SCP Foundation personnel.
Addendum 1
Below is an interview conducted by Dr. Eustess Park shortly after SCP-4129's containment.
Researcher: Dr. Eustess Park
Interview Subject: SCP-4129
Date: (██/██/████)
[Begin Log/]
SCP-4129: Do we really have to do this song and dance again?
Dr. Park: What do you mean?
SCP-4129: You guys never remember.
Dr. Park: Remember what?
SCP-4129: I'm SCP-4129. I can make people disappear when I write their names down. You guys tried to use me on a test subject that got exposed to some shit you were dicking around with. It got powerful; you guys couldn't contain it, and you kept fucking up. Some other researcher would try to test it with some other schmuck and the same shit would happen all over gain. Each time I wake up outside of this place and it's getting annoying.
Dr. Park: What was the subject exposed to?
SCP-4129: If I tell you, you guys will find it, try to test it and the same shit will happen. Last time, I almost died.
Dr. Park: How are we supposed to stay away from something if we don't know what it is?
SCP-4129: Trust me, its best if you don't know. Set me up in 32 and let's just call it a day.
Dr. Park: We need to know if we're going to keep people safe.
SCP-4129: Oh my god. stop.
Dr. Park: Let's change gears then. Can you tell me about your anomalous ability?
SCP-4129: Fuck, really?
Dr. Park: I know you're saying we've been here before but I want you to pretend like we're having this conversation for the first time.
SCP-4129: His name is Nathan. He started out as a childhood "imaginary" friend. He knew my grandfather and somehow he got passed down to me. I got bullied a lot and one day, Nathan told me to write their names down. I did, and the next thing I know, I woke up in my bed. No one knew or remembered who the bullies were. Later on Nathan would tell me to write other people's names down. When I do, I wake up in different places. Standing up, eating a sandwich, laying down, at a party. Balls deep in some chick. Everything comes to me afterwards.
Dr. Park: So what made you come to the Foundation?
SCP-4129: Nathan gets quieter when I'm medicated. He doesn't speak so loud and I don't get the same headaches when I don't "feed" him. Breaking into the Foundations' the equivalent of trying to break into your own apartment when you get locked out. Except this time someone else's stuff is there and the landlords don't remember who you are.
Dr. Park: And where does the shopping cart fit into all of this?
SCP-4129: I got tired of losing shit every time Nathan feeds. So he just kind of gave me a cart one day to keep my stuff. A messenger bag would have been nice.

Addendum 4129-05: Neurological testing revealed abnormalities within the temporal lobe, showing that the limbic system is overdeveloped. It is hypothesized that this is an evolutionary trait that enables SCP-4129 to maintain memories after use of the anomalous ability. At the request of Dr. Eustess Park, SCP-4129 was administered Clozapine to quell SCP-4129-1's influence.
Addendum 2
Testing Logs detailing SCP-4129
Researcher: Dr. Ainsley Kovax
Subject: D-032A. Kyle ████. A brown haired Caucasian male.
Parameters: SCP-4129 is given a pen, paper, and photo of D-032A to place into SCP-4129-2. SCP-4129 is then instructed to perform its anomalous effect on test subject D-032A.
Summary Results: SCP-4129 writes down the given name of D-032A and performs a series of hand gestures. The camera feed then displays static for 5 seconds. Upon clarity of the feed, D-032A is still present. A photo of test subject D-871C, an Hispanic female, is now in the previous subject's place.
Conclusion: The changing of test subjects indicates an anomalous effect has occurred. The presence of D-871C's photo means that it was the original test subject for this experiment.
Researcher: Dr. Miles Woodard
Subject: D-234E. Andrew Kim. A dark haired Asian male.
Parameters: D-234E is instructed to get into SCP-4129-2 along with a photo of D-234E. SCP-4129 is instructed to perform its anomalous ability on D-234E, using chalk and a blackboard.
Summary Results: SCP-4129 writes as instructed and performs a series of hand gestures. A period of 30 minutes elapsed with no anomalous effects. D-234E is then instructed to climb out of SCP-4129-2. The camera feed displays static for 12 seconds. A photo of D-873B, a blonde, Caucasian male was subsequently recovered from SCP-4129-2.
Conclusion: SCP-4129-2 somehow acts as a barrier, thereby nullifying the effects of SCP-4129. However, physically leaving SCP-4129-2 leaves a subject open to termination by SCP-4129-1.
Researcher: Dr. Charles Wendinger
Subject: D-312D
Parameters: SCP-4129 is instructed to name the D-Class any word of its choosing. Upon doing so, SCP-4129 is then told to write the given name in reference of D-312D to see if the anomalous effect will take place.
Summary Results: SCP-4129 chose the name, "Poor Bastard." After writing these words, camera displays static for 3 seconds. Photo of D673C is recovered from SCP-4129-2.
Conclusion: The name given to the subject of termination appears entirely arbitrary. Anomalous ability must be connected to intent or the thought process of SCP-4129.
Addendum 3
The Ethics Committee formally recommends that testing be ceased while SCP-4129 receives treatment for severe emotional problems, and personnel are investigated.
Testing cancelled by O5-4 and O5-7 following investigation of researcher complaints.
Regarding the findings of Wendinger's test, we cannot allow this to continue. Knowing that SCP-4129 has to only think about its targets while writing means that it is a danger to all Foundation personnel. Merely handing it a pen is the equivalent to giving it a loaded gun.

This is a message for Dr. Eustess Park. Trust SCP-4129. It is imperative that you believe every word it says. Regarding SCP-███, I cannot mention its nature, what it is or what it does. Just know that the Foundation should leave it alone. I'm the last researcher involved with Project Jericho. You will have no recollection of me, or the other researchers involved. This is because I've instructed SCP-4129 to induce its anomalous ability on myself to facilitate the prevention of a Keter Class event.
Researcher: Dr. Darren Foles
Date: ██/██/███
If you are hearing this, it is because I have instructed SCP-4129 to induce its anomalous effect on myself. We were investigating a researcher involved with something called Project Jericho. This lead to the discovery of SCP-████. After containment, we facilitated human trials resulting in [DATA EXPUNGED] After several failures in containing the D-Class exposed to it, we determined that the only measure capable of containment was SCP-4129. You will have no recollection of myself or SCP-████. All you need to know is that further investigation into this recording should not be conducted. If conditions at facility 81 are normal, you have the responsibility to you keep them that way. Do not let my sacrifice, or those of my children be in vain.
Researcher: Dr. Eustess Park
Date: ██/██/███
//If you're hearing this, I've instructed SCP-4129 to induce its anomalous effect on Dr. Alice Walker and Dr. Alan Tobles. I could not bring myself to self terminate. We were investigating a chain of unknown researchers, who were themselves researching Project Jericho. Hopefully this measure is enough to keep this event from happening again. It is absolutely imperative that you heed this warning. Do not, under any circumstances, investigate this matter further. I know the nature of the Foundation. I know that your interest will be piqued. You will feel compelled to delve deeper into what happened. There is a reason why I haven't gone into detail regarding SCP-████. SCP-████ is not an infohazard but our policies regarding acquisition, containment, and testing are only causing a repetition of events. The only thing that should be done is to let our curiosity be. At some point, some things just have to remain unknown in order for safety to be guaranteed. Given SCP-4129's testimony, we've failed numerous times, but we have to break the cycle. Under no circumstances should we ███████ ███-████ and attempt █████ █████ in order to ████ the ██████ and act in accordance ████ ███ ████████, it will result in █ ████████ █████in which the █-█████ develop a high level of ███-█████████, █████████████ ██████████ as well as knowledge and use of other █████
-In light of recent evidence provided in the recordings, Dr. Park has formally requested that all investigation into SCP-████ be ended immediately.
Clearly, all precautionary measures regarding SCP-███ have failed. Given that we do not know what we are dealing with, we are treading dangerous ground. We must take the safety of our researchers into consideration.
-By Order of O-5 Council, this request is denied. Acquisition and containment is of the utmost importance. We cannot leave any anomalous items in the field in the interest of self preservation. Discretion and tact are required and we cannot leave the circumstances regarding the unknown SCP to chance. We have conducted the appropriate interviews and we believe SCP-4129 is to be kept on stand-by should any difficulties arise. Containment procedures are to be revised with each attempt until success can be attained. Heeding previous warnings is an admission of failure on our part. We have the tools to facilitate correction as necessary and we advise you to use them. Investigation into Project Jericho is to proceed without hesitation.
