Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-XXXX is currently uncontainable, efforts are to be directed towards misinformation campaigns. Subjects who have created works depicting or referencing SCP-XXXX-1 are to be located and closely observed for further study.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon affecting individuals of various backgrounds. Affected individuals will feel compelled to produce works of art depicting or containing one or more instances of SCP-XXXX-1. Depictions are always consistent, with written works often describing events with a high degree of similarity, and visual works often including the same scenes and individuals.

SCP-XXXX-1 are seemingly non-existent humanoid individuals. See Addendum XXXX.01 for a list of known instances of SCP-XXXX-1.

Due to the sheer amount of these works with a high degree of accuracy and low popularity, coincidence and plagiarism have been ruled out as probable causes.

A brunette female of apparent European origin. Current records indicate at least 43 unique appearances in artworks produced between the 16th and 20th centuries. Most commonly depicted in conjunction with nature scenes, occasionally in sculpture.

Let's consider, just for a moment, that this is a real anomaly. What makes this deserve SCP classification, rather than an Anomalous Phenomenon registry?
Sure. The works are similar to each other. Is it a little odd? Yes. No doubt there. But we can't just classify every odd situation out there as an SCP, we would run out of database space and resources.
Your proposal has, once again, been declined. Dr. Howard, please, direct your focus towards more urgent matters. We already have enough projects on our hands, we don't need to grasp at straws.

Twelve. I found twelve new separate paintings depicting her, that brunette woman. All from different artists, most from different eras.
How can this possibly happen? How is it that she has been painted by so many people, with such diverse backgrounds, some even having no art education? How could they know of her?
Who is she? An immortal of some sort? A reality bender?

Found nine new paintings of her.
Also ran a search for anyone matching her physical appearance. Found some similar looking women, but none are an exact match. None of them appear to be anomalous either.
However, three of these new paintings were done by still living artists. I'm going to request SCP classification, this is much bigger than I first anticipated.

I can't believe they denied my request to classify this anomaly as an SCP. How can the committee not see that this could be a powerful, widespread memetic effect?
Thirteen new works of art depicting this woman. Not just paintings, I found two sculptures.
If the Foundation doesn't want to investigate this anomaly, I'll do it myself. Tomorrow I'm going to contact some of the artists that have painted her.
