Item #: SCP-6529
Object Class: Euclid (Request to update to Keter-Class pending approval)
Special Containment Procedures:
Section 1: Containment Chamber and general Special Containment Procedures
SCP-6529 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment chamber at Site-19. It is to be given any requested art supplies with one exception: no electronic devices of any kind are to be given to the specimen. If requested, even for drawing electronically, this request is to be denied (See Incident 6529-2). One security officer will remain outside its containment chamber at any point in time to prevent SCP-6529-2 from being removed from the containment chamber.
Due to teleportation caused by confinement during periods greater than one (1) month (See Incident 6529-7), SCP-6529 may wander the following areas of the facility at will: The Light Containment Zone (with the exceptions of chambers whose subjects are electronic in nature, and/or could provide the specimen the ability to leave the facility, or are otherwise restricted or dangerous) and The Heavy Containment Zone (with the exceptions of any chambers whose subjects are electronic and/or could provide the specimen the ability to leave the facility, or are otherwise restricted or dangerous). It is to be closely monitored and escorted by no less than two (2) staff with level-4 clearance or higher when wandering. These individuals should be a senior researcher and a senior security officer who get along with each other (See incident 6529-5). SCP-6529 is not to be allowed within fifty (50) meters of any exits to the facility. If it is to be found closer than fifty meters of an exit, attempts should be made to detain the subject. Under no circumstances is harmful force to be used on SCP-6529 (See incident 6529-6). Containment crew may be firm, but not rough.
SCP-6529 must return to its containment chamber by 2200 every evening. Failure to follow this curfew will result in confinement to its chamber for one (1) day. Art supplies may still be requested, with the usual exception.
Personnel are not to carry any loose items on their person when in the specimen’s containment chamber, and should be aware of such loose items when around it in general. (See incident 6529-4). Once per day, before it sleeps, an inspection of the chamber is to take place. Personnel should thoroughly search the chamber and any clothes that it has worn within two (2) days for lost or stolen items. Should an item be located, and it is not electronic, SCP-6529 is to be verbally scolded and, depending on the value of the item to its owner, denied art supplies the next day. If such an item is an electronic device capable of basic computation, then the punitive measures stated at the end of section three of the special containment procedures must take place, regardless of whether SCP-6529-2 has been attached to said device.
The specimen must undergo an annual psychological evaluation. It must also undergo a psychological evaluation after SCP-6529-1 has been returned to it (Only needed when SCP-6529-1 has been missing for a period longer than four hours).
Section 2: SCP-6529-1
SCP-6529-1 is only to be removed from the specimen’s possession with written permission of three-fourths of the senior research staff and security officers to undergo testing, and for no more than exactly four (4) hours (See Incident 6529-1).
Should SCP-6529 report this object missing and it is confirmed to be stolen, the staff member(s) who held it in their possession will be subjected to multiple treatments with Class-A amnestics, and will be demoted to Class-D personnel. These personnel must be transferred to a different facility.
Should SCP-6529 report this object as missing and it is not found within two (2) hours, a site-wide lockdown is to occur, with security officers of clearance level-4 or higher searching every room of the facility until it is returned to the specimen.
Should this object start to glow, facility staff is advised to stay at least three (3) meters away from SCP-6529. Should elevated energy levels be detected around the specimen or this object, a site-wide lockdown is to take place (If it is out of containment) until energy levels return to normal. During this time the specimen is to be kept in its containment chamber. No interaction with SCP-6529 may take place during such an event and facility staff must stay at least ten (10) meters away from the specimen (See Incident 6529-8)
Section 3: SCP-6529-2
Under no circumstances should this object be removed from the containment chamber. Should facility staff suspect it is missing, all nonessential personnel are to be evacuated until both the specimen AND this object are located and returned to the containment chamber. (See Incident 6592-2)
This object is, under no circumstances, except with permission of ALL of the O5 council, to be removed from the pedestal inside SCP-6529’s containment chamber.
The specimen and this object are to be kept a minimum of one (1) meter from any electronic device capable of basic computation, and greater than 1 mm x1 mm x 1 mm.
If SCP-6529-2 is found attached to any kind of electronic device capable of basic computation, detonation of on-site warhead must be prevented AT ALL COSTS. This includes the event of a catastrophic containment breach, until SCP-6529 and SCP-6529-2 can be safely evacuated. Should this event occur, a level-4 lockdown is to occur for the area within fifty meters of the device this object is attached to (Referred to as SCP-6529-2-1), and this object should be allowed to run its course. When the process is done, SCP-6529 should be retrieved (if it is not already there), and told to remove SCP-6529-2. It should then be placed back in the containment chamber by the specimen. The instance of SCP-6529-2-1 is not to be activated after SCP-6529-2 has been removed, and is to be destroyed through normal means.
Should it be discovered that SCP-6529 administered this object to an electronic device without the written permission of ALL of the O5 Council, on a computer not specifically given for the purpose of accepting this object’s input, SCP-6529 is to be confined in its containment chamber, all art supplies found in the containment chamber or on the specimen are to be removed, and any requests for such items are to be denied or ignored. These effects are to be in place for one (1) month after such an incident.
Section 4: SCP-6529-3
This object is to be kept in the office of the senior researcher of Site-19. SCP-6529-3 must remain in a locked safe that can block all electromagnetic waves from exiting, and can only accept numeric input through mechanical buttons. SCP-6529-3 is not to be removed from the senior researcher’s office except with permission from the senior researcher, one (1) member of O5 council, and the senior site security officer when SCP-6529 is not within fifty (50) meters of SCP-6529-3. This restriction is to be in effect even if a member of O5 council requests SCP-6529-3, and permission must be given by a different member of O5 council.
Under no circumstances is SCP-6529 to be allowed within fifty (50) meters of SCP-6529-3(See incident 6529-3). Should SCP-6529 come into contact with SCP-6529-3, a site-wide lockdown must occur and ALL personnel of clearance level-3 must proceed to the on-site evacuation chambers. SCP-6529 is to be commanded to put SCP-6529-3 back where it was found, under threat of death. This will trigger a glow event, security officers handling the situation must stay at least ten (10) meters away from SCP-6529 should this occur.
If it becomes known that SCP-6529 actively sought out SCP-6529-3, SCP-6529 is to be confined to its containment chamber for no more than fifteen (15) days. All art supplies are to be removed for half of the duration of this effect.
Section 5: Containment Breach Procedures
Should SCP-6529 escape containment during confinement, it is to be located and talked down. SCP-6529 is easily manipulated, so this should not take long.
If it attempts to insert SCP-6529-2 into any electronic device capable of receiving its input, it must be stopped, with a show of force if necessary.
Should it attempt to attain SCP-6529-3, it must be talked down. No security personnel are allowed within ten meters of SCP-6529, as it usually does this during a glow event.
Should SCP-6529 walk up to the security officer guarding its containment chamber after curfew, and SCP-6529 has been confirmed to have been inside the containment chamber before curfew, it is to be let in and no punitive actions are to be taken. (See Incident 6529-9)
Section 6: Catastrophic Containment Breach Procedures
Should a catastrophic containment breach occur, after all civilian personnel have been evacuated, SCP-6529 must be recontained, as it will likely be in an abnormal glow event or an extreme glow event similar to that of when SCP-6529-1 is removed from SCP-6529 for a period of more than four hours. Should SCP-6529 attempt to escape during such a breach, either because of the glow event or because it wants to escape, no attempt should be made to stop it directly. If it is sane, it should be told to return to its containment chamber under threat of death. If it refuses to comply, or if it is under the effects of an extreme glow event, D-Class personnel must be blindfolded, or have their sensory organs inhibited in some way, and told to fire tranquilizer darts in the direction of SCP-6529. SCP-6529 should only be hit with five (5) darts at most. SCP-6529 can then be safely returned to the containment chamber.
Should SCP-6529 be hit with more than five darts, it should be brought to the nearest medical center immediately. The location of this center does not matter, as long as it is no more than one (1) hour from the facility.
SCP-6529-1 must be returned before SCP-6529 wakes if it is missing.
SCP-6529-2 must be located and returned to the pedestal if it is missing. It is recommended to use robotic aid in this, as if SCP-6529-2 has attached to an instance of SCP-6529-2-1 there will be a lethal amount of x-ray radiation in the area.
Should SCP-6529-3 be removed from its safe during a catastrophic containment breach, it must be returned before SCP-6529 wakes.
Description:
Section 1: General Information
SCP-6529 appears to be a human female in its late teens named ██████ ██████. It has reddish-orange hair that reaches to the shoulder. Its face has many freckles. Its eyes are green. It is of below average height for its age group (1.49 meters) and its weight is adjusted in proportion to this.
SCP-6529 is quite conversational, however, conversations with the subject are to be kept to a minimum during testing. SCP-6529 is artistically gifted, and uses this gift often. Its artwork has no known anomalous effect unless SCP-6529-1 is undergoing a glow event, in which case the artwork is sentient much like SCP-085. SCP-6529 has admitted that it is a kleptomaniac, however, it has stated that this habit does not stem from its anomalous properties.
Most of SCP-6529’s anomalous properties only manifest during times of extreme stress, when this happens, the following events may occur: Its artwork will gain sentience, individuals within three (3) to ten (10) meters, depending on the amount of stress, of SCP-6529 will experience this stress as well as any emotional duress that SCP-6529 feels during the event. SCP-6529 is aware of this effect and will actively avoid staff members should this happen. SCP-6529 has stated in interviews that it has other anomalous properties, but it does not know what most of them are or how to control them.
Other such anomalies have yet to manifest. SCP-6529 can willingly alter human emotion. It discovered this ability, according to SCP-6529, ‘on accident’ (See interview 6529-6). SCP-6529 seems to be immune to most forms of physical trauma. It has been observed that any object that would have hit SCP-6529 with the intent to harm will either miss it by a marginal amount, or be redirected at the attacker with double the force. Objects that would have hit it on accident seem to be unaffected by this, as it has been observed to get paper cuts when drawing on occasion. It has been noted that SCP-6529 tends to teleport unintentionally up to fifty meters when it gets bored, or when it is confined for long periods of time (greater than 1 month), often with dangerous and unexpected results (See Incident 6529-7). SCP-6529 has little control of this and will sometimes be teleported out of its containment chamber as it sleeps, waking it and causing a containment breach.
From interviews (See Interviews 6529-2 through 6529-5), SCP-6529 has stated that it is a ‘lieutenant’ of a Class-5 extraplanar reality-bender. This being supposedly knows the location of the facility, but it is either uninterested in The Foundation’s activities or just doesn’t know (See Incident 6529-2). It readily provides information about this power, but any attempts to contact it through the means given by SCP-6529 have resulted in failure, unless SCP-6529 is the one using these methods. It has stated that this being is not of an evil alignment, but SCP-6529 has been proven to be easily manipulated, and as such precautions have been put in place to prevent SCP-6529’s contact with this being (See Special Containment Procedures sections three and four).
Section 2: SCP-6529-1
SCP-6529-1 appears to be a small, black ring of unknown origin, roughly carved of unknown material. Tests to determine the composition of this object have been inconclusive as it seems to be unresponsive to most stimulus. It is unknown if this is the source of SCP-6529’s anomalous properties or if it is just a manifestation of them.
When SCP-6529 experiences extreme stress, or emotional duress, SCP-6529-1 will glow a bright orange. This is known as a ‘glow event.’ It is during these events that SCP-6529 will exhibit most of its anomalous properties. The strength of the glow will determine the strength of the event (1-57 lumens being a ‘normal’ glow event, 58-1,000 lumens being an abnormal glow event, and 1,001-??? lumens being an extreme glow event).
When asked if it would take off SCP-6529-1, SCP-6529 stated that it experienced an uncomfortable feeling whenever it thinks about taking it off. When SCP-6529-1 is not in SCP-6529’s possession (Specifically the right index finger), it has reported to feel mild anxiety. This anxiety will degrade into emotional instability (this will cause a glow event), and eventually, dementia and highly aggressive behavior if SCP-6529-1 is not returned within four (4) hours of being removed.
This will cause a glow event of extreme intensity. During this glow event the light of the ring will usually exceed 80,000 lumens, and will fling itself in the direction of SCP-6529 with the force of a 9mm bullet. This fling will happen once every four (4) hours. The effects on human emotion are amplified as well, leading to any organism in possession of the ring to extreme violence.
As this happens, SCP-6529 becomes extremely aggressive, attacking nearby organisms with devastating ferocity. It has been determined that SCP-6529 loses most higher brain function during this time, and acts on the assumption that every living thing has ‘the ring.’ SCP-6529 is highly dangerous during this time due to its physical immunity. Returning SCP-6529-1 to SCP-6529 will result in immediate pacification of SCP-6529. This will occur if SCP-6529-1 flings itself to SCP-6529 or it is returned by another organism.
SCP-6529 will experience extreme guilt over its actions and must be placed on suicide watch (pending a psychological evaluation) after these glow events.
The only recorded times this event has occurred without SCP-6529-1 being removed form SCP-6529’s person are during containment breaches of Keter-Class specimens (See Incident-6529-8).
Section 3: SCP-6529-2
SCP-6529-2 appears to be a small orange USB memory stick approximately ten (10) centimeters long. Taking it from SCP-6529 has no adverse effects, and it is to remain out of SCP-6529’s possession at all times.
When brought within one (1) meter of an electronic device capable of basic computation (Said device hereby referred to as SCP-6529-2-1) that does not have a USB port, SCP-6529-2-1 will form one. How SCP-6529-2-1 forms this port is unknown.
If SCP-6529-2 is inserted into said USB port the screen or monitor will immediately turn off. SCP-6529-2-1 is still active, but no information can be gained.
SCP-6529-2-1 also emits dangerous amounts of x-ray radiation. SCP-6529 seems to be immune to this effect, however, most organisms must be evacuated and the area locked down until it can be dealt with.
If SCP-6529 is in the vicinity, it will attempt to access SCP-6529-2-1. If SCP-6529 comes within one meter of SCP-6529-2-1, the screen will activate, but it will show the color orange. SCP-6529, however, sees information. It has refused to provide insight on what it sees, and becomes extremely protective of SCP-6529-2-1. SCP-6529 will then input new information into the device and extract SCP-6529-2. Observation and testing have been unable to deduce the information that is input by SCP-6529.
Any attempt to access the electronic device after SCP-6529-2 has been removed results in the spontaneous combustion of the device, unless it is reactivated with SCP-6529-2 inserted. As such it is important to monitor SCP-6529-2 to prevent it from being inserted into an important machine.
SCP-6529 has stated that it was given by the same power that hired it. This being is alerted every time SCP-6529-2 is inserted into a machine, Therefore, SCP-6529-2 is to be prohibited from use except under conditions outlined in section 3 of the special containment procedures.
Section 4: SCP-6529-3
SCP-6529-3 appears to be a note written on old parchment. It, like the other anomalous objects found on SCP-6529, is impervious to any attempt to harm it in any way. On it are the words: [Reda[Data expunged]
SCP-6529 stated that SCP-6529-3 was given by the same power that ‘hired’ it. SCP-6529 is extremely protective of the note, although this has been proven to not be due to anomalous properties. SCP-6529 simply admires the being it serves, and therefore wants anything it can get to remain close to this being.
At a glance it appears to be a normal note, but it emits large amounts of nonlethal radio waves in sporadic intervals. When SCP-6529-3 is in contact with SCP-6529, the radio emission is amplified by 10██ and is made constant. Attempts to intercept and decode this transmission have proven ineffective, as the frequency is too low for modern instruments to use, however, the emissions have been determined to have a destination out[Data expunged]se.
The words ‘Arcane Purple’ also light up with intense violet light when SCP-6529-3 is in SCP-6529’s hands.
Addendum 1: SCP-6529 prefers to be called ‘Pastel Orange,’ using this nickname in conversation is fine, but using it in official documents is not.
Addendum 2: SCP-6529 may also give site staff nicknames. It is best to learn these nicknames so as to avoid confusion.
Addendum 3: SCP-6529 seems to have developed a favor towards Dr. ████. Any interaction that could cause anger in SCP-6529 is to be handled by her.
Addendum 4: Requests by multiple researchers to have SPC-6529 updated to Keter-Class due to teleportation and behavior when not in possession of SCP-6529-1. Request is pending approval.
Addendum 5: Due to Dr. ███’s illness, Dr. ████ is to take over all duties regarding SCP-6529 until his health improves.
Addendum 6: If you see SCP-6529 hiding, or running away from other members of the staff, please do not try to approach or follow it (Unless it is heading toward an exit).
Addendum 7: SCP-131-A and SCP-131-B seem to have bonded with SCP-6529, this is alright as long as they do not enter its containment chamber, and are not brought near SCP-6529-2.
Interview 6529-1: This is the post-raid interview during which SCP-6529 was captured. It took place ████-██-██.
[deep breathing]
[Sputtering gasps, subject wakes]
Subject: W-where am I? Who are you?
Dr. ███: That is classified, however I can confirm that you are safe.
Subject: Why am I here?
Dr. ███: That is what we plan to find out. If you would please answer my questions, I am confident you’ll be allowed to leave.
Subject: Fine, what do you want to know?
Dr. ███: What happened on ████-██-██ through ████-██-██?
Subject: Oh… That…
Dr. ███: Yes, please explain what happened on the days leading up to and the days themselves.
Subject: Well… It all started when my friend, Rust Red, went missing. He-
Dr. ███: I’m sorry, but did you just say Rust Red? The name of your friend is Rust Red?
Subject: Well, it’s not his real name, I give people nicknames based on a color that matches their personality.
Dr. ███: Ah, okay. What is Rust Red’s real name?
Subject: [Redacted]. Anyway, he went missing and so me and my other friend, Coventry Blue, decided t-
Dr. ███: Coventry Blue?
Subject: [Redacted]. We decided to go looking for him in an effort to help the police… and maybe to become famous. Either way, we came up with an excuse to go looking for him… You know, I was going to ask my other friend to join us, but I decided against it. I guess that was a bad idea in retrospect, but he still saved us, so it still ended… well?
Dr. ███: What do you mean?
Subject: He saved us, and everyone else trapped in that hellhole.
Dr. ███: Who is this person? How did he save you?
[Data expunged]
Dr. ███: Very well. Continue.
Subject: We got our supplies together, me and Coventry Blue, and hiked into the woods where we thought Rust had got lost at. We didn’t find him, and decided to sleep instead of look through the night.
Dr. ███: You had flashlights in your possession, is this correct?
Subject: Yes… but I didn’t want us to get lost or separated… So, anyway, we went to bed, but when we woke we were
[Data Expunged]
Dr. ███: How did you get there?
Subject: I don’t really know. You’d have to ask [Data expunged]he one who really understands that magic stuff.
Dr. ███: Magic?
Subject: Yeah, magic.
Dr. ███: And where may we find this person?
Subject: I don’t really know where he lives, but I could probably get a hold of him if I could see a phone. I’d call him with mine, but you seem to have taken it.
Dr. ███: Just give us his number, we will attempt to contact him later.
Subject: ███-███-████. He can be pretty hard to understand, so make sure you listen.
Dr. ███: We will. Continue with your account of the events.
Subject: Sure thing… Coventry Blue woke me up, we [Data expunged]w gates. They each had a level with lights, and obviously left the property, but they were so close together that they couldn’t have been made by a rational human being.
Dr. ███: And were they?
Subject: Were they what?
Dr. ███: Made by a rational human being.
Subject: Oh… No, they were not.
Dr. ███: What made them then?
Subject: I don’t really know. You’d have to ask Rust Red for that, he was in there longer than me.
Dr. ███: We already have, he did not give us any information.
Subject: Oh yeah, [Data Expunged]st of the survivors memories.
Dr. ███: Why would he do this?
Subject: I don’t know, his note didn’t say anything about why.
Dr. ███: You mean this? [Paper crinkles] (See interview 6529-3 for further information)
Subject: Yeah, he left that for me and Coventry Blue.
Dr. ███: We will talk about the letter, later.
Subject: [giggles] Letter later… That’s a good one, I’ll remember that.
Dr. ███: Continue with your account please.
Subject: Right, sorry… we ran through a gate and ran until we came to a campfire. Rust was there, along with a few people I don’t know. He was kinda mad at us for being there.
Dr. ███: What were their names?
Subject: I don’t know, I didn’t really find the time to get to know them. We chatted for awhile, and then, well, we were somewhere else.
Dr. ███: And where were you?
Subject: I don’t really know… It was like falling asleep and waking up, but I woke with Coventry next to this giant swollen-looking tree in the middles of a forest.
Dr. ███: Swollen?
Subject: Like, super round and large. It looked like it was about to burst. We wandered around for awhile, and eventually came to another door. It was open, so we left.
Dr. ███: That’s how you got out?
Subject: No, we wound up running back to that campfire. Rust Red was there, he gave us an I told you so and we decided to rest. Then [Data expunged]ere pretty made at him, cuz we thought he put us there, but-
Dr. ███: How did he get there?
Subject: I don’t know. Like I said, I don’t understand the magic stuff, okay?
Dr. ███: Sure. Continue.
Subject: He managed to calm us down with some logic, namely the ‘If I wanted you dead, why wouldn’t I just do it myself’ argument. And considering what he is, I found it pretty convincing.
Dr. ███: And what is he?
Subject: A dragon.
Dr. ███: I’m sorry, but did you say dragon? Like large, evil, flying reptile that breathes fire?
Subject: Yeah, but he’s not evil, at least I don’t think he is. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him breathe fire either, but you’re almost spot on.
Dr. ███: Listen, kid, I don’t have time to listen to stories, tell me what really happened so I can get on with my day.
[Subject nods]
Dr. ███: Now, tell me the truth, or I cannot let you go home. [Lie to produce results]
Subject: But that is what happened!
Dr. ███: Unless you can provide proof, then I cannot let this go on.
Subject: But I have proof, look!
[Subject lifts its right hand, revealing a black ring glowing faintly with orange light]
Dr. ███: Well, I think I believe most of your story now, please finish it. We will talk about the ring later.
Subject: Well, we were mad at him, but he calmed us down when he used his argument. He told us it was time to go home, and then… I was in my bed staring at the ceiling. I called Coventry and he told me he remembered what happened too, so I knew I wasn’t dreaming. Then, the next day, we went to find [Data expunged]ote was all that was there.
Dr. ███: Thank you, that will be all for now.
[Subject is escorted to a temporary containment chamber]
Subject: When will I be able to go home? Can I have my phone back? WAI-
[When the number given was dialed, the it was discovered the number had been disconnected.]
Interview 6529-2: This post-incident interview occurred shortly after Incident 6529-1. It took place on ████-██-██, three hours after Incident 6529-1 and seven hours before SCP-6529 was given an official containment chamber.
Dr. ███: Hello there, 6529.
Subject:…
Dr. ███: Today we are going to talk about your ring. Could you please explain how you got it?
Subject: When will I be going home?
Dr. ███: Soon, don’t worry. We just need to document everything about the events of the past few weeks.
Subject: Is that how long you’ve kept me trapped here?
Dr. ███: No. You have only been here for a few days. We just need to understand the situation, that way it does not happen again, but for us to do that, we need to know about the ring. Do you understand, 6529?
Subject: Yes, I understand, and my name isn’t 6529, its ██████ ██████. You know that already.
Dr. ███: We know. Please explain the ring and why you acted the way you did when it was removed.
Subject: Well, it started when [Data expunged]ame back.
Dr. ███: He did? What did he do?
Subject: He came and found me. We talked and stuff… It was great. Then, he said he had a job opening and offered it to me. I accepted.
Dr. ███: Is that when he gave you the ring?
Subject: No. He offered his hand and I shook it. When I did, our hands were covered in this weird purple fire. I noticed the ring a few hours later, when I was going to shower.
Dr. ███: Is that why you call him [Data expunged]?
Subject: No. I call him that because he’s mysterious and hard to understand, but ultimately explainable.
Dr. ███:Did you notice any anomalous properties before being taken for containment?
Subject: No. Before you kidnapped me, nothing strange ever happened.
Dr. ███: I see. Please continue.
Subject: Anyways, nothing strange happened with it, except that when I thought about taking it off, I got a weird feeling that I really do not enjoy.
Dr. ███: And you felt this when it was taken from you earlier?
Subject: No, after it was taken I just had this nagging worry that it you were never going to give it back.
Dr. ███: You showed signs of high levels of anxiety, but what we really want to know is what you felt when you broke containment.
Subject: Umm… When was this again…?
Dr. ███: It was four hours after the ring was taken.
Subject: Oh… I uh… I don’t really know how to describe it… I wasn’t in control of myself at the time… I really am sorry for what I did.. I didn’t mean t—
Dr. ███: Do not worry, child. Everything will be fine, but you must calm down. We don’t want another… event.
Subject: I’m sorry… it’s funny. ‘Do not worry, child.’ Is exactly what [Data Expunged]ys to me when he notices something wrong. I miss him… When will I be able to call him?
Dr. ███: You will be allowed to contact him when we let you leave.
Subject: Good.
Dr. ███: Until then, I have made it so that you are to have the ring in your possession as long as it keeps you sane.
Subject: Thank you…
[Subject is escorted back to containment]
Interview 6529-3: This interview took place occurred shortly before and slight after Incident 6529-2. It is to be noted that Dr. ███ developed [Redacted] shortly after this interview and is unable to perform his duties. It took place on ████-██-██. The site went into a Class-5 lockdown and prepared for an XK-Class reality altering event for three (3) days after this interview, but nothing happened as a result of this situation.
Dr. ███: Hello, 6529.
Subject: What do you want this time?
Dr. ███: We just want to know about your little flash drive.
[Small click, a USB stick is placed on the table]
Subject: I don’t really know much about it, I haven’t used it yet. I do like the color though.
Dr. ███: Well, 6529, I have managed to get permission to use it, if you like we can take a look.
Subject: I would prefer not to use it with you. Could you please get Dr. ████?
Dr. ███: Sorry, but no. I am here to stay.
Subject: Then I do not want to use it.
Dr. ███: Well then, I guess I’ll just insert it into the machine myself.
[Dr. ███ inserts SCP-6529-2]
[Angry sigh from SCP-6529]
Dr. ███: For the purpose of keeping the recording informed, the screen of SCP-6529-2-1 is orange.
Subject: No, it—
[Alarm blares]
Emergency voice (for lack of a better term): Warning: Dangerous levels of radiation detected. All personnel must evacuate immediately. [Repeats]
Dr. ███: Shit. 6529 stay here until a temporary containment cell can be readied, I’ll be back.
[Chair squeals]
Subject: So what, you’re just gonna leave me here? With dangerous radiation? Well isn’t it nice to know that you care.
Dr. ███: Look, I apologize, but I cannot break protocol.
Subject: Fuck the protocol, uncuff me!
Dr. ███: Fine, but stay seated until I lock the door.
Subject: Thank you!
[Alarm blares, door closes, lock clicks, chair squeaks, keyboard clacks]
…
…
[SCP-6529-2 is removed from SPC-6529-2-1. Alarm stops]
Emergency voice: Attention: radiation is at survivable levels. Staff may return to their duties.
[Door unlocks, opens. Chair squeals as Dr. ███ sits down.]
Dr. ███: Well, that was strange. I apologize for leaving you here unattended, 6529.
Subject: It’s fine.
Dr. ███: 6529, where is the flash drive?
Subject: It’s sitting on the table.
Dr. ███: Why is it sitting on the table?
Subject: It was causing the radiation, so I removed it.
Dr. ███: How did you know the drive was causing the radiation?
Subject: It was on the screen, as a warning before I started making my report.
Dr. ███: Your what?
….
Dr. ███: 6529. What else did you see?
…
Subject: Other… things.
Dr. ███: Would you care to describe them?
Subject: Not really.
Dr. ███: Please don’t get smart with me now.
Subject: What do you mean?
Dr. ███: Why are you not telling me what you saw?
Subject: I was told not to tell anyone the specifics.
Dr. ███: By who?
Subject: By [Data expunged]eo of him after the warning. It told me not to tell anyone what was on the drive, but he did say that I could disclose certain information.
Dr. ███: What are you allowed to say?
Subject: I would prefer not to tell you.
Dr. ███: Why not?
Subject: You left me for dead. I will talk to Dr. ████.
[Dr. ███ gives an angry sigh and leaves. Dr. ████ takes his place.]
Dr. ████: Hello, Pastel. I believe there is something you want to tell me?
Subject: Hello, Dr. ████. Yes, there is.
Dr. ████: What would you like to say?
Subject: Well, what I’m allowed to say is going to sound crazy, but you’ll believe me, right?
Dr. ████: Yes, Pastel. It’s my job to help you, and if that involves believing in a few more improbable events, then yes, I will believe you.
Subject: Okay, so you know how my USB is special? Well, on it was a message saying that I’m a ‘lieutenant’ for this really powerful dragon from another universe, and it’s my job to report in to him using that USB from time to time, I’m not allowed say what I’m reporting on though. I made my first report during the evacuation.
…
Subject: Do you believe me Dr. ████?
Dr. ████: I think that if this is true, Pastel, you may not be allowed to go home. Are you sure this is true?
Subject: Yes. It is.
Dr. ████: [Whispers] Shit.
Dr. ████: Is this the same dragon who helped you and your friends out of that monster’s lair?
Subject: Yes ma’am.
Dr. ████: I don’t think we can get you out of it then.
Subject: I don’t want to get out of it. I want to help him. But you should know…
Dr. ████: What?
Subject: When Dr. ███ inserted my drive, it sent out a beacon to [Data expunged]ows where the facility is now.
[Dr. ████ steps out of room]
Subject: What have I done?
Interview 6529-4: This interview discusses the purpose and origin of SCP-6529-3. It took place on ████-██-██.
Dr. ████: Good morning, Pastel.
Subject: [through a yawn] Good morning Dr. ████.
Dr. ████: Unfortunately your usual interviewer is out of commission. Would you have anything to do with that?
Subject: No, but good riddance. I prefer your company to his anyway.
Dr. ████: Today we are going to be talking about the note that you s[Data expunged]ft you.
Subject: Okay. What do you want to know?
Dr. ████: We want to know what you know.
Subject: Well… I know that it was given to me b[data expunged]nd that it his name glows and I can hear his voice when I hold it.
Dr. ████: What else do you know of your… patron that you are allowed to tell us?
Subject: Well, like I said he’s a dragon… he’s not evil… he’s from a different universe…his human form is abs—
Dr. ████: It has a humanoid form?
Subject: Yeah, most dragons do, it’s just a matter of if they know how to access it.
Dr. ████: By that logic, do humans have a dragon form then? One that we simply do not know how to access?
Subject: I don’t really know. I think it might be possible, but you’d have to ask him. He’s the expert in the matter.
Dr. ████:I see. What does his human form look like?
Subject: He told me not to tell anyone. But between you and me, it’s ADORABLE! He doesn’t like it when I say that though, so when you call him, please don’t tell him I said that.
Dr. ████: Can you at least tell us his height, weight, eye color, and hair color when he is in this form?
Subject: Well… I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to tell you his height and weight, but he said the hair and eyes are a no go. He’s like an inch smaller than I am… and must weigh something like 110 pounds.
Dr. ████: Can you tell us what he looks like when he appears as a dragon?
Subject: He’s like thirteen feet long, and then his tail is another ten feet…. His scales are black… His wingspan is like seventeen, maybe eighteen feet… and he must weight like a ton.
Dr. ████: Thank you, Pastel, that will be all.
[Dr. ████ leaves the room, followed by SCP-6529.]
Incident 6529-1:
Incident occurred when SCP-6529 was taken to a temporary containment chamber while the decision to give it SCP status was made. During this time, all possessions, including SCP-6529-1 were taken to be held for the standard twenty-four (24) hours. SCP-6529 showed great agitation after the removal of SCP-6529-1. Within two (2) hours, an abnormal glow event occurred. Any members of facility staff that were within ten (10) meters of either SCP-6529 or SCP-6529-1 were subject to feelings of extreme anxiety and fear, and more sensitive members of staff were reduced to hysterics.
At exactly four (4) hours, SCP-6529 became highly aggressive, lost the ability to reason, and breached containment. At this time, where SCP-6529-1 was being held, Senior Researcher ████ became extremely violent and started to behave erratically. They managed to [Redacted] most of the security officers sent to detain them. This behavior stopped when it SCP-6529-1 came back into SCP-6529’s possession.
SCP-6529 was instantly pacified, and regained the ability to reason. It stated that it could not control itself and promptly surrendered. It was given SCP classification and returned to temporary containment. SCP-6529 felt great amounts of guilt over its actions and apologized to the survivors profusely. After this event, a request to update the subjects special containment procedures was made. [Request approved as of ████-██-██.]
Incident 6529-2:
Incident occurred during interview 6529-3, when a computer was supplied to SCP-6529 for the insertion of SCP-6529-2. When inserted, SCP-6529-2-1 began to emit dangerous amounts of x-ray radiation. The facility had to be evacuated until SCP-6529-2 was removed. When this happened, the radiation stopped immediately, will no irradiated objects discovered.
What happened during the time the facility was evacuated is known only to SCP-6529. It has refused to provide insight at this time, however, it did state that SCP-6529-2 alerted a Class-5 extraplanar reality bender, but nothing has come of the situation. An attempt to access SCP-6529-2-1 was made after SCP-6529-2 was removed, however, the device spontaneously combusted, hospitalizing three (3) senior researchers.
After this event, SCP-6529 became extremely secretive, making further interviews harder, and a request was made to update the special containment procedures. [Request approved as of ████-██-██.]
Incident 6529-3:
Incident occurred when SCP-6529 came into direct contact with 6529-3. The radio emission of SCP-6529 increased drastically, this allowed researchers to observe the destination of said emissions with some degree of accuracy. The emissions have been determined to have a destination out[Data expunged]se. As this represents a considerable security risk, SCP-6529 has been banned from contact with SCP-6529-3. Special containment procedures and anomalous properties description of SCP-6529-3 have been updated as of ████-██-██.
Incident 6529-4:
As of ████-██-██ it has been discovered that SCP-6529 is stealing and hoarding the loose items of those who enter its containment chamber. It has admitted to being a kleptomaniac, however it has stated that this is not an anomalous property. Special containment procedures have been updated as of ████-██-██.
Incident 6529-5:
A new manifestation of SCP-6529’s anomalous properties has be discovered as of ████-██-██.
During a routine inspection of its containment chamber, it changed the emotional state of everyone in the room. People who did not get along with each other started to fight, and SCP-6529 breached containment. It was successfully contained later in the day, when it was found near a facility exit.
It stated in the post-incident interview that it had done this on accident, but does have control over this ability. Humans who get along do not seem to be affected by this ability unless it makes them feel something other than anger, or they come into contact with someone they do not get along with while under this effect.
Special containment procedures and description of anomalous properties have been updated as of ████-██-██.
Incident 6529-6:
A new manifestation of SCP-6529’s anomalous properties has been discovered as of ████-██-██.
During a recent containment breach, SCP-6529 did not comply and security officers responded with lethal force. SCP-6529 was not hit with any of the projectiles, however, some of them were redirected back at the officers that fired them with additional force, the resulting casualties causing the specimen to faint. It was successfully contained within the hour. The exact amount of force is unknown at this time, but it should be revealed with further testing.
The commanding officer of the security personnel assigned is to be reprimanded. Special containment procedures and anomalous properties description have been updated as of ████-██-██.
Incident 6529-7:
A new manifestation of SCP-6529’s anomalous properties has been discovered as of ████-██-██, exactly one month after it had been placed in solitary confinement for purposely breaching containment multiple times. The specimen breached containment by teleporting out of the new containment chamber, into Dr. ██████’s office nearly fifty meters away. Dr. ██████ was in his office at this time, and contacted security officers to escort it back to its containment chamber.
When questioned in the post-incident interview, SCP-6529 explained that it had no idea how it teleported, but that it should have more freedom since it was ‘bored at staring at that stupid wall all day.’
Recommendation was put in to allow it the ability to roam certain areas of the facility with an escort if it promised good behavior, and the special containment procedures and description of anomalous properties were updated after further testing provided more information on the issue. The recommendation was approved and the special containment procedures were updated again on ████-██-██.
A request was put in by Dr. ████ to increase object class to keter do to the increased difficulty to contain the specimen. This request is pending approval.
Incident 6529-8:
A catastrophic containment breach occurred on ████-██-██. Escaped subjects include, but are not limited to: SCP-106, SCP-173, SCP-08, SCP-6529, and SCP-312.
In regards to SCP-6529, it was noted to be an abnormally strong glow event. Security officers and other personnel who stood within ten meters of SCP-6529 were reported to either die of shock, or drop to the ground in horror. Other officers experienced intense anger or sadness, and others were filled with a sense of elation. Regardless of emotions felt, all surviving officers noted that they felt a heavy weight on their chest, and had a nagging sense of dread. It appears that during these glow events, regardless of what SCP-6529 is feeling (This was reported to be fear) during this time, cause humans standing within ten meters of SCP-6529 will experience a random emotion of an incapacitating amount. Further testing is required to confirm this, but SCP-6529-1 seems to only induce these events during periods of extreme danger. So far testing has been unable to reproduce this effect.
On the topic of the containment breach, SCP-6529 was located and detained by MTF-NTF near the entrance of the facility. The encounter rendered four members of the squad unable to move, and kill another three outright.
The specimen was contained after all other Keter-Class objects had been contained.
Following this, the special containment procedures were updated on ████-██-██, and there were three more requests by Dr. ████, Dr. ██████ and Dr. ████ to increase SCP-6529’s Object Class to Keter. These requests are pending approval.
Incident 6529-9:
On ████-██-██, SCP-6529 unintentionally breached containment. It appears to have teleported in its sleep, and was admitted back into containment on its request. No punitive measures are to be taken.
Special containment procedures have been updated, and one more request to increase object class to Keter was made. This request is pending approval.
