The affanc is an ancient tale of Wales of a beast that lived in a lake near a village it would destroy the crops and kill livestock so the council decided to rid it all the best warriors tryed to kill it but its hide was impenetrable and so they needed new ideas they decided to move the beast no easy task but they found that a buetifull singing girl could calm it down and make it sleep after it was asleep the greatest blacksmith made chains to hold the affanc they attached it to the back of all of thmier oxes and set of to snowdon as they were needing in one of the ox pulled so hard his eye popped out.
