Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Hera (Hostile/High Utility)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 20 x 20 x 20 meter inner container, with walls consisting of a titanium alloy. Wireless security cameras are to be placed in all four corners of the inner cell in order to prevent accidents during experimentation. A remote-controlled speaker containing a sound-based memetic kill agent is to be placed in the center of each wall. These devices are to be controlled by a foundation agent testing in the top 95th percentile in foundation loyalty tests. The inner container is to be surrounded by an outer container measuring 100 x 100 x 100 meters and made of modified steel alloy cooled to absolute zero.
Note: Continued research and experimentation has shown that extremely cold temperatures are capable of blocking up to 68% of SCP-XXXX-1 instances from escaping the chamber.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a mechanical device constructed of an unknown alloy, measuring 2 x 2 x 2 meters. It weighs 200 kilograms and is black in color. [On its exterior there is a standard QWERTY keyboard of unknown manufacture. When touched, SCP-XXXX causes the subject to envision a command prompt which responds to inputs on the keyboard. The main purpose of the command prompt appears to be creation of SCP-XXXX-1 instances.] SCP-XXXX is capable of emitting anomalous pulses of an unknown energy, labeled SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 pulses are visible within a 10 x 10 x 10 meter radius of SCP-XXXX and appear as bright lights of all known colors. Frequency of pulses varies from 100 to █████ instances per 24-hour period. These pulses are capable of fully altering the brain function of a sentient being (assuming said being has a brain).
Addendum XXXX.1:Discovery
SCP-XXXX was discovered and recovered by MTF Delta-5 ("Front Runners") in a cultist hideout belonging to members of the Maxwellian sect of the Church of Mekhane. Object was likely being used to progress the goals of the sect, but no SCP-XXXX-1 instances have been confirmed to have been ordered by the cult.
