Special Containment Procedures
Due to the location and nature of SCP-5000, physical means of containment are impossible. The location of SCP-5001 is known only to the current SCP administrator and the researcher, observing SCP-5000. If SCP-5001 would to move from its current location near (DATA EXPUNGED) and move towards (DATA EXPUNGED), all Foundation personnel must immediately prepare for an PATMOS XK-class end-of-the-world scenario. Preparation for an PATMOS XK-class end-of-the-world scenarios must provide the following:

• Termination of all SCP’s that are not involved in a possible PATMOS XK-class end-of-the-world scenario.
• To maintain familiarity with all other SCP’s involved in possible PATMOS XK-class end-of-the-world scenarios
• All Foundation personnel must immediately evacuate their current Site location and retreat to the nearest underground Foundation bunker, re: PATMOS XK-class end-of-the-world scenarios.

Description
SCP-5000 is a spherical, orb-like entity assumed to be 40 meters in height. Approximate measurements of its physical attributes are currently unavailable, due to its location near (DATA EXPUNGED). SCP-5000 has 4 luminous, wing-like appendages emerging from behind the entity, assumed to be 5 meters in length. For more information on SCP-5000, read Addendum-5001-A.

Addendum-5000-A: Discovery Notes
During the 19th century, French astrophysicist (DATA EXPUNGED), discovered SCP-5001 on the date (DATA EXPUNGED). His journals were discovered recently by agents looking for evidence re: SCP-2521’s last seen location. His recordings begin as such. (Translated to English):
Entry 1:
“ Last night, while observing the planet (DATA EXPUNGED), I’ve made a remarkable discovery. An object seems to be orbiting the planet (DATA EXPUNGED). I must tell the people my remarkable discovery."
Entry 2:
" The people didn't believe me, i look up to the heavens and i see it. I cannot disbelieve something i see with my own eyes. I must observe this object once more."
Entry 3:
"The object seems to be a spherical object, surrounded by light. It has, what looks like bird wings, four in total. There seems to be some sort of glyphs all over the surface of this object. Is there life beyond humanity?"
Entry 4:
"The object has moved, it is heading towards Earth. It is approaching at an alarming rate. I must tell the people. I must tell them that we are all doomed."

Addendum-5000-B:
(DATA EXPUNGED) was arrested and executed, due to their frantic actions, trying to prove the existence of SCP-5000. The people of (DATA EXPUNGED), after (DATA EXPUNGED) incarceration, they mysteriously disappeared.It is theorized that the presence of SCP-5000 had a role in the disappearance of the people of (DATA EXPUNGED).
