She's a Frog Summoner. Came from evil family. She wants to see if there's another way… she finds out WHY they did what they did and how it proved to work so well. Smallish country that keeps to themselves. A world of magic and crapsack world. Her family rules the most stable one. For all the a$$holery that is her family, in some ways they are right. They have ruled for so long so that should say something. She sees one side, the family shows the whole story… whos right? Can a happy medium be reached?
How to be ungodly annoying aka kindergartners: They always complain about everything all the time, even when they get what they want. They scream for no reason. They seem to take pleasure in the pain of others.
Too do: Work on formatting and grammar, make it more clinical in tone, make the skip WAY more annoying
Think: (Kindergartner + Excalibur) x 11, (optional but breaks immersion as is) uncensor swear words, ensure sentence flow makes sense, show annoying protesting in a better way, REPLACE THIS with another way to express loudness, [action] for vid logs, remove time (as is and no other big changes), remove unneeded info, 30.32 to 30 cm, spray bottle to nearest 25 ml, method of gaining/creating scp must make sense, emotions,
Order of writing:
establish emotion, use irl experience to think and apply it, break down to main elements, get core ideas, pick one idea, apply story to idea, write story about idea (basic outline), establish chars, establish/create SCP/skip/anomalous crap related to story.
DETAILS. Important details to the readers.
2 sig figs for SCP format (no XX.XX unless for a valid reason do XX/XXX. whatever)
Prometheus labs: What would a scientist seeking limited funds say? (clinical with focus on $, factual)
SCP foundation: What would a cold researcher say? (Cold and clinical)
Serpent's hand: What would a wizard say? And what is the spell? (Neutral and respectful)
Jailers = Foundation (Less than GOC)
Bookburners = GOC (outright Hostile)
Madmen = CI (unfriendly)
Merchants = MCD (mostly neutral)
Manni charity (neutral to friendly)
video games (Maybe. Needs to have actual effort put in)
Silly ideas (Think cannibalistic watermelons silly)
Weird ideas (Frog power weird, What would show up in one punch man?)
Format screws? (Iffy one)
Any Tvtrope… with a twist/inversion/played with
The most WTF inducing item Possible. (More is better! Think cannibalistic watermelons WTF.)
How to come up with weird: What would exist in one punch man?
How to come up with WTF: Take an idea, and make it more literal/weird/interpret it in the wrong way. See if it's viable/WTF. Rinse and repeat aka make it MORE outrageous.
Ideas (Any ideas go here, no matter how viable):
Video game based SCP (Maybe.)
Frog: Great story, hard to pull off due to tale. Most complete relatively speaking.
Cleaning products: Iffy story, would readers want this?
Accident: WIP (sounds great!) but may run into frog issues
Best bet: Frog
Work on (if needed): Accident… with a different story.

A frog's leap. = tale
Advantage of tale:
Great story, popularity goes UP…
Disadvantage of tale:
Complex, MUST be done right or else suffer,
Adv (no tale):
Easier overall, can stand alone via Goi format, faster to publish, More forgiving,
Disadv (No tale):
Less story, less popular,
-Tale, +Bigger enemy mine adv:
Easier, more story without tale, easier to add to Goi format, manageable
Disadv:
Risks of being more complicated, needs to be done right (less stakes than tale), may need big change, account for other groups intervening if needed, requires econ knowledge,
Order to try: No tale, shorter tale (Hard to pull off), War story (basically redo the entire thing and risks a tale).
Chars: 3/4 demon is J.D, most sane and down to earth, driven nuts by his colleagues. He is a demon. footnote -J.D
Orchid is flower lady. The team mom and most able to deal with the twins. Main chef but others pitch in. Maintains the garden that feeds the crew, has earth/plant + traces of water magic duh.
Footnote -Orchid
Twins is FT + WT, fraternal twins, Combined attention span is so short suspected of having ADHD or just inattentive by the others (No one is sure). WT is girl, FT is boy. Fire/lava is for FT, water/ice is for WT, great fighters but airheads (Way smarter than they let on.)
Footnote ~FT and WT (Frequently share footnotes)
F.S is summoner herself, Young adult with a goal.
Footnote -F.S (Shares the same font as Orchid)
Ghost lady is Suki, psychotic outbursts (Being a yokai and all…), the unofficial co-leader next to J.D. footnote -Suki
WHAT would cause such chaos and a crapsack world? Nuclear war (or equivalence think fallout series), WW1 + WW2 + etc Equivalence, some sorta massive event that drastically affects global economy for the worst,
Global economy has to be impacted and hard to recover from: Great depression (on a bigger scale!), global resource shortage, overspending/under spending on a mass scale, natural disaster of some kind, sea routes being impacted (90% of trade is around this),
what is the THREAT that triggers the chain reaction which leads to the above?
Eldritch abomination, demons, angels, Angry god (iffy one), invasion from some sorta hostile outsiders (aliens etc),
Order: Decent, eldritch abomination attack, crapsackish (Not quite there), some vicious cycle due to economics, major event, crapsack
Eldritch abomination attack: Enemy mine, everyone fights this, induces madness in some unlucky people… (Leads to crapsack),
Causes: Shortage of resources, damage as a whole, hard to recover from, shortage of workers(deaths and all), war is just horrible for an economy, Everyone loses,
Leads to: Some sorta nuclear war, general crapsack (NOT due to threat but due to already existing conditions in a cycle that makes it worse), society falls apart,
Causes: Due to insane people, world degrades farther, even MORE war if not near constant wars, vicious cycle, hard to fix,
Why war is bad for an economy: Costs people aka labor force, capital (opportunity cost), destroyed economy (destroyed farmland, roads, etc), Adds more money into the economy to fuel war… debt and a vicious cycle, debt due to spending for war, demand and cost goes up… which leads to problems on top of the list,
Major event: Some people are insane! Economy crashes like the great depression but on a global scale, More (pointless) wars, people oversaving/underspending/etc, several factors + war = crapsack world.
The frog summoner.
Conspectus
From another world, she fled for reasons that are unknown. With everything stacked against her, she made it. Now she is seeking another solution to her family's old ways. The family rules over a country with evil ways. Coming from a universe where near constant war is the least of their problems, this is a small problem. There is something far worse than her family, and no one is safe from it. A world full of magic gave her the oddest magic spell ever: summoning frogs. But darker secrets and lost history hide something else, and she needs to find a way to fix this. Now we wonder what's really going on.
We've been unable to reach her family as of yet, but she claims that they are malicious and evil, and given what we know about her past, this seems likely to be true.
Traits:
She has magic that allows her to summon frogs of any type. She will live longer than average due to where she's from and all humans have magic. All of us have seen her summon frogs with no known limit. She is just as deadly as any other wizard despite this. No upper limit is yet to be seen. It is assumed that all magic in her native universe is of this nature.
Nature:
The frogs look, act, and are as durable as normal frogs for the traits. Except when specified otherwise. They can be commanded at will and double as a camera of some sorts. Such unusual magic requires unusual use to work. The frogs are of a predestined nature, only able to be commanded by her alone. It is assumed that stay until otherwise told to or took enough damage.
History & Associated Parties:
She claims that she's the white sheep of her family. On top of having three brothers. Her family is evil and rules a small country. They have been doing so for a very long time. Given how terrible their universe is, it is inferred that they have harsh means to rule reliably. She desires to rule differently than them, thus left and came to us to seek other means of doing so. While we have no proof, this is most likely true. She refuses to be like her family.
There is apparently another group who are called "The madmen". Those who are in this group have permanent solid black eyes and are insane. She claims they were formerly humans who went insane for reasons no one could figure out. The only signs of turning into this is having the urge to eat human flesh. Followed up with blacking out and eating any injured or dead human. It is suspected that the threat of the past is still lingering in this form. No one knows the rest of the symptoms after this since any attempt to do so fails because the affected are dangerous and impossible to talk to. The order of the symptoms are unknown.
Approach:
It is a really bad idea to attack her unprovoked. As she has proven deadly if need be, being civil with her is enough to ensure one's safety.
Other Detail:
What happened that lead to their universe to this current state? The records are unclear and few documents exist. It is currently suspected that the documents were somehow destroyed and the impact of the past may still be felt presently.
Today I arrived at the base of the Serpent's hand, a group claiming to allow "Anomalous beings" (their words) to live freely. And that the Bookburners kill the aforementioned beings. There's a lot to learn about this universe.
I did research on what other universes did to solve their problems in the library today. Most of them used seals and priests if not both. But I don’t know of any priests remaining in my home today. Several solutions suggested may work, but this requires further details.
Nothing. No other world with such a threat has survived. All of the solutions only delay and buy time. No permanent solution exists. What can I do?
I feel hungry despite eating a wonderful home cooked meal that Orchid made. The homegrown vegetables should be satisfying… yet they are not. Why?
I had a nightmare. A shadow was growing in my dream. I was running away from the shadow, and it caught up. Then I woke up. It ended as quickly as it started. It looked like the shadow of the legends that everyone knew back home. The one that caused our world to fall to its present state.
Today was otherwise uneventful. But why do I have a feeling that something terrible will happen? Yet, I can't place exactly what will happen. The cause is unfounded, yet it won't go away.
No! This can't be! What's happening to me?! I'm out of it! Must make more before it's too late! Nothing here can make this medication! I need to get more before-
What happened today? I was heading back to the base… and just forgot what happened until I was back in my quarters. The only detail I recall was someone attacking me.
