SCP-xxxx
Object Class: Safe Neutralized Euclid
Containment Procedures:
SCP-xxxx is to be kept in a padded cell no smaller than 5x5 meters 10x10 kilometers it’s to be fed every 4 hours, if it’s asleep then check on again in 4 hours, this process is to continue in till SCP-xxxx is awake. When entering the containment area for any reason look at the list outside of the containment area with the names of authorized personnel who can safely touch and mess with SCP-xxxx, if you are not on the list of authorized personnel please contact your supervisor to find an escort.
Description:
SCP-xxxx is 38cm (10 inches) tall and weighs .9kg (2lbs) and is of the Chinchilla lanigera Genus also called the Long Tailed Chinchilla. At first sight there is nothing exceedingly out of the ordinary with SCP-xxxx, but when agitated or is enclosed in too small of a space SCP-xxxx will start to panic and paw at the walls. As of ██ /██ /████ it has been discovered that SCP-xxxx is sentient and can communicate by speaking, writing, and drawing. SCP-xxxx can also understand or at least has a basic comprehension of subjects like mathematics, science, and literature.
Begin Logs:1-4
Log 1, Date: ██ /██ /████
SCP-xxxx looks like a normal Chinchilla and is naturally calm and collected. It was found out on the streets and dropped off at the facility on ██ /██ /████ with no other background information known as to where it came from, how it got there, or even why the person dropped it off in the first place. When first moved into a small containment area of about 3x3 meters SCP-xxxx started to panic as it tried to escape. It's concluded that it needs a bigger area, and through different tests, has been concluded to be fine with a 5x5 meter containment area, at this point SCP-xxxx is deemed as Object Class Safe in till further notice or testing is done.
Log 2, Date: ██ /██ /████
Starting from ██ /██ /████, SCP-xxxx has become more and more panicked over time and is the most frantic at night as if it has some sentience of what it could do, besides the frantic pawing at the containment walls SCP-xxxx was said to be yelling for help, this was proven by the audio recordings from the containment area cameras, it had even ripped a chunk of it's left upper thigh out that night at 2130 which kept it from walking, though it is expected for a chinchilla to be very active at night this is out of the ordinary. This morning at 0630 three employees went into SCP-xxxx’s containment area to attempt to talk to SCP-xxxx. It didn’t answer any of the questions asked, but instead backed into a corner.
Log 3, Date: ██ /██ /████
It’s unsure how but the cameras in SCP-xxxx's containment area shut down, the cameras are not damaged, but it is believed that SCP-xxxx could have electro-manipulation or telekinesis. SCP-xxxx has seemingly been “Terminated” as proof by the extensive amounts of blood stains and scratch marks on the containment area walls and floor and there are no tracks leading out of containment. This had happened right after the occurrence of another SCP breaching containment, field teams were sent out to find SCP-xxxx but to no avail, because there’s no sign of SCP-xxxx, believed to have been eaten by another SCP, the entity is deemed terminated and classed Neutralized in till further notice.
Log 4, Date: ██ /██ /████
SCP-xxxx reappeared in its containment area this morning at 0200 all bloody along with a chunk of fresh flesh ripped out of its front left leg. SCP-xxxx is acting friendlier towards the employees that entered its containment area before its disappearance but when new personnel enter with no personnel that had entered before its disappearance it reacts by making a small chattering noise that hurts personnel ears. An electromagnetic tracking collar was secured around SCP-xxxx's neck to watch where it went, in the case of the entity disappearing again.
Further testing requested.
Further testing approved by head researcher.

Audio Interview #1:
Interviewed: SCP-xxxx
Interviewer: Head Researcher Dr.█████
Foreword: SCP-xxxx was very nervous but was more cooperative than the first time the entity was questioned.
<Begin Audio Interview>
Interviewer: "Hello SCP-xxxx, how are you feeling?"
SCP-xxxx: SCP doesn't respond
Interviewer: "SCP-xxxx you are required to answer the question."
SCP-xxxx: "I-I'm sorry."
Interviewer: "No need for apology SCP-xxxx, can you answer the question?"
SCP-xxxx: "I'm okay enough."
Interviewer: "SCP-xxxx are you aware that your not like other chinchillas of your species?"
SCP-xxxx: SCP-xxxx looks at the table before looking up at Dr.█████ and responding "There's others like me? I thought I was the only one."
Interviewer: "You've never met another specimen that looks like you?"
SCP-xxxx: "I never knew that was others that looked like me."
Interviewer: "Do you know what you are?"
SCP-xxxx: "I thought I was an abomination before you told me that there are others like me."
Interviewer: "There's nothing like you SCP-xxxx."
SCP-xxxx: "What? but you just said-"
Interviewer: "I said that they looked like you, I didn't say that they were like you."
SCP-xxxx: "Oh… so I'm an abomination?"
Interviewer: "Compared to the other things here you are more normal than you think. Do go by a name? As we've been calling you SCP-xxxx."
SCP-xxxx: "I call myself Balance, but you can call me whatever you want I guess."
Interviewer: "Why the name Balance specifically?"
SCP-xxxx: "I just like the idea of Balance and Yin-Yang."
Interviewer: "You know what Yin-Yang is? If so can you explain to me what you think it is?"
SCP-xxxx: "Oh yes I love the idea of Yin-Yang, to me Yin-Yang is where there's always a little good in bad people and there's a little bad in good people."
Interviewer: "It's interesting you know that SCP-xxxx. Now whe-"
SCP-xxxx: "It's my turn!"
Interviewer: "Excuse me?"
SCP-xxxx: "It's my turn to ask a question."
Interviewer: "SCP-xxxx this is an interview of you I ask questions and you answer them."
SCP-xxxx: "But I've been asking you questions as well."
Interviewer: "That was to make sure that you understood the info presented SCP-xxxx."
SCP-xxxx: "Oh…. Can I ask one more question first? Then I'll stop asking unless I don't understand."
Interviewer: "Okay one more question, but make it quick."
SCP-xxxx: "Okay, what does SCP stand for? Oh, and what's your name?"
Interviewer: "That's two questions."
SCP-xxxx: "But they're easy questions."
Interviewer: Dr.█████ gives a blatant sigh "SCP stands for Secure Contain Protect, so we Secure anomalies like you, Contain you in containment specially made to keep you there for as long as possible, and Protect you and others outside of here that don't know about your existence."
SCP-xxxx: "And your name?"
Interviewer: "you don't need to know my name SCP-xxxx."
SCP-xxxx: "What but I told you my preferred name, so why can't I kn-"
Interviewer: "SCP-xxxx that is enough, you don't need to know my name and that's the end of that."
SCP stops talking and looks down at the table in disappointment. What follows is a short period of silence.
Interviewer: "SCP-xxxx I am sorry to disappoint you but there are things that you won't be able to know or understand when it comes to the facili-"
SCP-xxxx: SCP's tone was deeper "I understand perfectly."
Interviewer: "Is that so? Then tell me what you think you know the facility is."
SCP-xxxx: SCP's tone starts deep but leads up to a shout "This place is a cage, a prison, a jail that we aren't allowed to escape, those of us that you consider dangerous you trap. This facility traps what it doesn't understand, you'll experiment on us if you can, some of us could just be living peacefully where we were undisturbed, but that doesn't matter to you, all that matters to you is that your kind stays alive. I would much rather be in my home where I'm not bothered than be trapped like a guinea pig in a laboratory, and excuse my language but I've been through that █████ once I would rather not go through that again, but do you care about that? No you don't. If I feel like this I can only imagine what all of the others that have it worse than me feel like. They might be scared of what you might do to them, angry at themselves for ending up in this mess, demoralized that they know that they'll never get out because so help them if they escape you'll come after them wither they like it or not, confused on why everything around them gets left alone, but not them, no never why should they ever question it." The SCP stands up and slams it's paws on the desk.
Interviewer: "SCP-xxxx sit down, I understand your concern but it is something you would never be able to understand but referring back to what you said earlier, you have a house?"
SCP-xxxx: "Yes."
Interviewer: "Can you tell us where it is located?"
SCP-xxxx: "HA you think I would tell you where my home is just like that? How dumb do you think I am? Because I'm not as idiotic as you think."
Interviewer: "SCP-xxxx it will make it easier for us to accommodate you in an environment you would prefer"

Log Date: ██ /██ /████
The cameras in SCP-xxxx’s containment area had shut down again but the audio feed was still recording all that could be heard were agonizing screeches for an estimated 2 hours before there was silence then there was a new sound captured it was another voice that similar to SCP-xxxx’s normal voice except a little deeper and darker sounding, all that was said before cutting to silence was “I’m not what you think I am”. The cameras turned on to reveal the containment area and, when the video feed is played back, what looked to be dried blood claw marks and clumps of fur all along at least one of the wals and part of the floor, the cameras caught only a glimpse of what was there before what looked to be a disfigured and SCP-xxxx lunged at the camera this new form of SCP-xxxx has been called SCP-xxxx-A. Object Class changed to Euclid.
