Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4641 is to be secured in its underground, and atomically airtight (3m x 3m x 3m) cell reinforced with at least 1 meter of hardened anti-corrosive steel at all times. SCP-4641 should under no circumstances make contact with outside air. The cell is to be filled with Sodium Hydroxide gas (or any other highly corrosive element) at all times. The gas should be filtered on a bi-weekly basis. When the gas exits the cell it is to be incinerated immediately inside of its holding tank. Any element that has made contact with the inside of SCP-4641's Containment Cell should be immediately contained and avoided, and (if possible)incinerated. If this event occurs the Security Team should be alerted ASAP. Failure to contain the gas within 3.7 seconds will likely result in the ███████ and transformation of anyone within a 23 foot vicinity of the breach. If a death occurs due to the affected atoms of SCP-4641, the body should be completely incinerated. If it converts before, it is to promptly be contained, avoided, or preferably, executed.
Absolutely no personnel are to enter the cell without the permission of 05-█ or Dr. ████ and Dr. ██████.
Description: SCP-4641 is a pile of reddish-black dust approximately 18.29 cm in diameter and 9.88 cm in height. The dust was found in 1998 in a "hibernation" state. The origin of the dust is [DATA REDACTED]. The dust began emitting small traces of SCP-4641-00 in 200█ on ███ ██. SCP-4641 has been produced more and more increasing slightly every day since it began. The dust is extremely corrosive, and damage to the dust is has been so far proven impossible. The dust appears chunky in some spots, with darker splotches scattered around the pile. The every particle of dust constantly emits an enzyme known as SCP-4641-00. This enzyme appears to be sentient to a degree, or biologically programmed, as it will target the nearest living organism, travel to it at ██kph, and even travel on an atomic level to an extent, meaning if a material isn't dense enough, SCP-4641-00 can travel straight through it. SCP-4641-00 seemingly has an internal compass that guides it to organic matter.
Upon making contact with an organism, SCP-4641-00 will [DATA EXPUNGED] into its cells. The cells will immediately mutate and spread across the body, even when the enzyme has gone, and will eventually spread across the body within seconds resulting in total organ failure. Anyone affected and killed by SCP-4641-00 will be referred to as SCP-4641-A. After dying the body will blacken visibly, and large spikes resembling mineral will emerge from varying places on the body. The body will then re-animate and begin to shake, as it vomits a black ooze presumed to be ███████████. SCP-4641-A will then start violently seeking living organisms. SCP-4641-A will then proceed to kill and [DATA EXPUNGED] the organism. The organism will then undergo the same process as SCP-4641-A and will now be referred to as SCP-4641-A2. This process continues until all organic matter in a ███████ mile radius from any SCP-4641 specimen is converted into a SCP-4641-A specimen. Organisms affected by SCP-4631 also excrete SCP-4641-00 from its body. Severed limbs appear to produce less enzyme than if it was attached.
SCP-4641-B occurs only when 20+ specimens are in a spot room together. They will then attempt to mold with each other, as the mineral spikes pierce the other specimens body, and proceed to grow larger ones, eventually forming a huge, singular, SCP-4641-A specimen with a crystallized armor plating, and is known as SCP-4641-B. SCP-4641-B is not to be engaged unless a suitable weapon is available. (flame-throwers, explosive weapons, acidic weapons, electrical weapons, etc.)
SCP-4641-A demonstrates extremely enhanced strength, speeds up to ██kph, regenerative abilities, and stamina. SCP-4641-A shows no need for rest or nutrition. Attempts to kill SCP-4641-A with kinetic weapons have thus far proven ineffective. Explosive munitions are slightly more effective. Incendiary munitions are proven the most effective, as the crystal like formations on SCP-4641-A's body are highly flammable, and will burst into flame upon making contact with any temperature above ████ degrees F.
Due to the speed and ease at which SCP-4641 can affect large populations, and eventually, every population within reach of it, SCP-4641 is to be considered the among the highest of security priorities.
SCP-4641 has been confirmed capable of causing an NK-end-of-the-world scenario.
SCP-4641 is currently due for termination, however there is no known way to damage it. So until further notice no attempts to destroy SCP-4641 will be made.
