Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4197 is to be locked away in a room and can only be accessed by level 3 personnel or higher. If any level 3 or higher personnel want to make use of SCP-4197 they have to contact Dr.████████. If clearance is given it can only be used while under camera surveillance.
Description: SCP-4197 is a closet with measurements of 2,5m in height, 1m in width and 50cm in depth. If an object is placed inside of SCP-4197 it will revert into what it was on the day that SCP-2602 caught on fire. SCP-4197 was discovered in SCP-2602 (which used to be a library). The closet was most likely used as a storage for damaged books. All books found in SCP-4197 where all undamaged by the fire that happened to SCP-2602. Dr.████████ current explanation for this anomaly is that it is actually the same as SCP-2602 because instead of changing the mind into remembering it was a library it actually reverts the object to the same state it was the day of the fire that happened to SCP-2602.
Addendum-A:
Test A - Date: ██/██/20██
Subject: Broken watch.
Procedure: placed broken watch inside of SCP-4197 and closed the closet.
Results: Watch was working as before it was broken and does not show any sign of use.
Analysis: In 5 minutes SCP-4197 reverted the watch to its old state.
Addendum-B:
Test B - Date: ██/██/20██
Subject: Smartphone.
Procedure: Placed fixed smartphone in SCP-4197 and closed the closet.
Results: There was no sign of the smartphone.
Analysis: Objects placed inside of SCP-4197 are changed back to the same state it was when SCP-2602 caught on fire.
Addendum-C:
Test C - Date: ██/██/20██
Subject: Rat
Procedure: Placed rat inside of SCP-4197 and closed the closet.
Results: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Analysis: Further testing with living organisms on SCP-4197 is to be discontinued.
Addendum-D:
Test D - Date: ██/██/20██
Subject: Live streaming camera
Procedure: Placed camera inside of SCP-4197 and closed the closet.
Results: Live stream started stuttering and soon shut off because of exceeded maximum temperatures for the camera. When they opened the closer the camera was gone.
Analysis: The closet may send things back to the day of the fire and bring them back to today.
