Discovery:

SCP-XXXX was discovered in a previously uncharted area of the Amazon Rainforest, which is believed to house multiple other anomalous organisms, by an illegal logging operation on █/07/██03. Most of the members of this operation were killed by SCP-XXXX, but the survivors notified law enforcement officers and the case was handed over to the Foundation. Area-021 was built in the deforested land to contain SCP-XXXX and any other suspected anomalies in the region.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is an arachnid in the family Araneidae, commonly known as Orb Weaver Spiders.
