Special Containment Procedures:
Instances of SCP-XXXX are contained in their designated 100 s/KM reserve in [REDACTED] Canada. Containment are by instances of SCP-XXXX is voluntary and are cooperative with Foundation personnel in keeping containment protocol.
"The Reserve" is 100s/km of dense harsh Canadian wilderness with a town with a population of 3,512 with homesteads peppering the local area. Only way in and out is by bush plane or by barely maintained road in the summer. A foundation forward operating base has been established in the town's air port.
Foundation personnel is only to enforce containment protocol and procedures. Unless local law enforcement requests assistance, security teams are prohibited to interfere the community's affairs. Doing so risks our relationship with the locals and will be met with disciplinary action.
This includes but not limited too; assault both physical and sexual unless directed and foundation staff, fighting, murder, [REDACTED], and rioting when foundation property and personnel is not at immediate risk.
Individuals of SCP-XXXX may not leave the reserve unless they are at minimum 75 years of age with a clean record with the foundation and referral from at least three community elders. While on Furlough individuals must be equipped with an GPS implant and requiring daily check-ins if not in foundation custody.
Description:
SCP-XXXX as a whole describes a race of lycanthropes. Unlike those in pop culture, they do not have a weakness for silver nor is shape shifting depend on the phases of the moon. They are however extremely predatory in nature, and according to their history have hunted and eaten humans but no longer engage in the practice (see Addendum XXXX-1A).
Metamorphosis is done at will and are in full control of their actions while in their beast form. Adult males can reach eight feet tall and be heavy as 350 pounds. May lift as much as half a metric ton and can run at excess of 55km/h.
They have advanced regenerative abilities able to heal from physical trauma that will kill most humans on their own. Such as near decapitations, extensive burns, trauma of the spine and nervous system in the matter of hours. While slowly, they can regenerate whole limbs and organs. Blood work on SCP-XXXX individuals revealed to have an enzyme which is believed a precursor to SCP-500's active ingredient. Research into SCP-XXXX's connection with SCP-500 is currently on going.
