Description: SCP is a standard United States 1998 100 Dollar bill. Mass Spectrometry and chemical analysis have found no difference between SCP and other 1998 100 Dollar bills.
SCP has exhibited proprieties similar to that of starfish. Upon cutting a piece of SCP off, SCP will slowly regenerate the excised portion. In addition, the excised portion will slowly grow into a full copy of SCP, this copy is to be designated SCP-1. Cutting a portion of SCP-1 will result in a second instance of SCP-1. No limit as to the amount of SCP-1 that can exist at one time have been found.
Any attempt to use SCP or SCP-1 to purchase items will result in all instances of SCP-1 to instantly vaporize and SCP will disappear and subsequently reappear of the ground within a 30 M area.
Recovery: SCP was recovered by United States Secret Serivce operatives during a raid on ██/██ /20██. Agent █████ who was embedded with the Secret Service reported the anomaly to their supervisor when he witnessed the failed destruction of SCP and subsequent manifestation of approximately 250 instances of SCP1. All Secret Service personnel with knowledge of SCP were issued Class B Amnestics.
Addendum -1: Incident Report: On ██/██/20██ D-21245 poured approximately one (1) cup of tap water onto SCP-1 in order to determine if SCP maintained its properties when wet. SCP-1morphed into a live sand dollar, specifically Mellita quinquiesperforata. Further testing has shown this to be true of all copies. All instances of transformed SCP-1 are to be designated SCP-2. SCP does not exhibit this property. All instances of SCP-2 are to be stored in Dr.██████████'s office aquarium.
