Its eyes are made of a black bead of which the left eye has been slightly damaged, from a force of some sort. seems to have SCP-5942 has displayed the ability to speak, despite having no internal organs. It behaves in a friendly, overzealous manner. however, when recalling memories, SCP-5942 will usually seem distant, regardless of if the memory is a good or bad one. Interviewed: [SCP-5942]
Interviewer: [Dr. Joseph]
Foreword: [Dr. Joseph remained seated, but SCP-5942 was allowed to "swim" around the room.]
<Begin Log, pm>
Dr.Joseph: [Good evening SCP-5942]
SCP-5942: [Good evening doc! you can call me copper, by the way.]
Dr.Joseph: [I apologize for the inconvenience, but it's only protocol you are referred to as SCP-5942.]
SCP-5942: [ Ah. No problem-o. anyways, what's the agenda for today?]
SCP-5942: [ If I may ask, how did you get that slight discolouration on your face?]
SCP-5942 [ The most pain in my life. my owner and his brother held me up against a fan's lightbulb. the burn…]
Dr. Joseph: [understood. Now for the program, If I may ask, how was your past before you arrived at the foundation.]
SCP-5942: [(SCP-5942 suddenly stops in midair, gradually sinking to the floor, but starts moving after 20 seconds) It was… a hell of a time, to be honest.]
Dr. Joseph: [would you care to elaborate? remember, it's up to you.]
SCP-5942: [yes. I was brought from ███████ on ██/██/2004 by the mother of my owner. My owner only played with me for a year or so but tossed me in some area with a bunch of other toys. This was when he was 5, mind you. then, he took me out when he was 8. he seemed to have forgotten about me, but I was still happy to see him. a year later, was tossed in a different, although lonelier area for about what I found out to be 6 years. This time though, I wasn't lost. He hung out with me until he went for university.]
Dr. Joseph: [ can you elaborate on those final times?]
SCP-5942 [sure. his room started to get increasingly dirty. as for work, that was frickin' nonexistent. but he did talk with his 3 friends. 2 were online, 1 in real life, though I suppose you could argue it was technically still online due to schools being closed. He did seem moderately knowledgeable, I still suspect it was the particular subjects he had issues with. but anyway, one day, he just said: "I'm gonna take a long rest" and walked outta the room. he didn't come back, but I was relieved when I saw his parents come into his room and packed up his things. I hope his studies are well.]
Dr. Joseph: [ Copper, do you think he may… not be "taking a rest"?]
SCP-5942 [ I don't follow.. ]
Dr. Joseph: [ (visibly choked for 5 seconds, then clears throat) forget that thought. thank you for your time, have a good night.]
SCP-5942 [ you too, doc! ( "swims" around the table, then goes out the door, moving to his containment cell.]
<End Log, pm >
Closing Statement: [SCP-5942 seemed to have not understood what Dr Joseph was insinuating, and seemed in its usual happy state. Dr Joseph seemed visibly shaken by its' innocence. ]
Addendum: [SCP-5942 is not to be allowed within 10 meters of SCP-999 until further notice.]
