Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 3m x 3m x 3m concrete room kept in below zero temperatures. The door, floor, ceiling, and walls are of the same material. The room is to have no lighting or objects present inside, and no windows. Cold air below -█ Celsius must be pumped into the room every 3 hours via a small pipe located in the south-east or south-west corner of the room, with the end of the pipe protruding out by 1 dm. SCP-XXXX is to be transported from ███████, Russia to ███████, Russia every week in a box made of pure obsidian that never has the same size previously used, with an open side that always faces south. All personnel entering SCP-XXXX's containment are to be completely naked, with no objects or clothing worn. More than 1 personnel is not required. No monitoring is required.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is an object of indefinite shape, volume, or mass. It acts like a mirror, an almost perfect rendition of the north side of any room, and will mirror it on the south side. West and east side objects are also copied, but will only mirror up to a specific point away from SCP-XXXX. Objects created by SCP-XXXX cannot be interacted with, as attempting to touch any object will result in a seemingly holographic state, with a small harmless mist fizzing out of the object until connection is cut, in which the fake object with return to its normal state. All living organisms are ignored by SCP-XXXX, but articles of clothing and objects touching or inside a living organism can be seen through the "mirror". The two differences between the real and fake objects are direction of the object and a small white dot, SCP-XXXX-2 in the very center of the room, in which is believed to be sentient. SCP-XXXX-2 will shrink the closer a personnel gets to said SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 is movable, but only through tricking it into a smaller room or box, in which it will copy it until direction is changed. No restriction of size of room is known. indents in rooms are also copied, but personnel are not able to enter indents, acting like a 2D space with a 3D mirage. Doors created by SCP-XXXX can be interacted with, but it will open to bright source of light, with no explanation as to why, how, or what will happen when standing through. All living organisms are not mirrored, yet all objects and clothing touching a living organism are mirrored.
SCP-XXXX was apprehended by Agent ███████ in ████████, Kazakhstan following an incident where a Caucasian male named [REDACTED] attempted to walk through a door created by SCP-XXXX following its discovery in his own house. [REDACTED] was never seen again. Agent ████ discovered that SCP-XXXX can be put in a small box or crate if SCP-XXXX-2 is covered within a box, where it will cover the south side of the box or crate's material.
