Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be allowed to freely roam the facility should it feel the need while worn, otherwise it should be kept in its containment chamber. if the SCP feels its undergoing a personality change, the mask is to be removed and put in its containment chamber until a SCP-XXXX-1 retakes control.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a steel mask weighing 17 pounds. there are three light on the mask which glow to show the current controller of the SCP. the SCP has been observed to have two different controllers. the different states of SCP-XXXX have been named SCP-XXXX-1 SCP-XXXX-2 respectively, with blue representing SCP-XXXX-1 and red for SCP-XXXX-2. the mask appears to have no anomalous quality's by itself but when the SCP is worn by a humanoid with the ability to vocalize, the SCP will take control of the entity. SCP-XXXX-1 will talk to research staff and trys to assist facility personnel whenever possible.
the entity the SCP is currently possessing will be freed of SCP-XXXX-1's control if the SCP worry's for the entity's health or is asked to relive control. subjects SCP-XXXX controls report the side effects of SCP-XXXX-1's possession as only a light headache. the SCP has been very helpful in the understanding of other SCP's due to the SCP's resistance to [DATA EXPUNGED]. the SCP says, "i have so many ideas to give, and so much time to plan them." the SCP in itself is usually in its researcher personality which is dubbed SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-2 is much more aggressive than SCP-XXXX-1. often demanding release and causing the deaths of nearby personnel. the SCP takes control of SCP-XXXX once every 6-18 hours though SCP-XXXX-1 can tell when its taking control and will remove itself from the current host. SCP-XXXX-1 retakes control of the mask 45-120 minuets. SCP-XXXX seems to have no desire to keep its host alive, often killing its host by strangulation when it doesn't get what it wants. personnel who survive SCP-XXXX-2 taking control of them have more aggressive behavior and suicidal tendency's. the SCP will usually attempt to breach containment if it has a host body.
Addendum XXXX-1 SCP-XXXX was recovered just off the coast of [DATA EXPUNGED] where police were responding to reports of a homicide. the police were told the man "wore a mask with red lights." on site SCP-XXXX-2 had gotten hold of a [DATA EXPUNGED] and killed multiple civilians. the SCP engaged with the police in which the host body took three shots. after a five (5) minuet standoff SCP-XXXX-1 took control and surrendered to police. civilians who witnessed the homicide where given class-A anesthetics and SCP-XXXX was taken into foundation custody.
