Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4959 is to be housed inside an Elsewhere globe and placed in a temperature controlled cell filled with the sounds of 1920s Jazz playing at all times. The storage cell must be at least 4m³ and must not contain any reflective surfaces. Communication with or observation of SCP-4959 is prohibited without O5 approval.
Description: SCP-4959 manifests in our visual range as a pearlescent rainbow colored sphere of inconsistent size. Dependent on the form of observational equipment used to observe SCP-4959 it’s surface texture, color configuration and meta-resonance appears to change. These perceptual differences are also influenced by who is observing SCP-4959 and the context of said observation. It is capable of taking on any appearance including humanoid form. SCP-4959 is classified as an ambulatory cognitohazard however the entity is deemed low risk unless provoked.
Foreword: The following interview of SCP-4959 was given at Site 59 for the purposes of assessing intent and potential danger of the entity.

SCP-4959: Hello I am Xenuria.
Dr Tomas Quintovaray: Do you know who I am?
SCP-4959: You are Tomas Quintovaray lead cognitohazard specialist of the [redacted] corporation which is a member of The SCP Foundation.
Dr Tomas Quintovaray: For the record can you describe your appearance?
SCP-4959: It depends on who’s looking.
Dr Tomas Quintovaray: Can you describe your appearance in the absence of observation by sentient life forms?
SCP-4959: I cannot in such a way that would be comprehensible, no.
Dr Tomas Quintovaray: When team Vermilion 7 attempted to intercept you at the Lockhaven facility you told them you needed advice on how to fix a “stain gate”. Can you explain what you meant by this?
SCP-4959: I made a mistake that lead to myself being locked in the pull of a Devil’s Trap. I determined that the least intrusive way to alter the timeline such that I would never risk being captured was to remove the low-sec stargate to the Stain region of the New Eden cluster.
Dr Tomas Quintovaray: Are you from space?
SCP-4959: I am not, I am not part of the reality in which I implemented what you would now call a TK-Class Scenario.
Dr Tomas Quintovaray: How did you come to be present in that reality?
SCP-4959: I was curious, I observed patterns of change that indicated the possible presence of other entities like me.
Dr Tomas Quintovaray: Can you provide an example?
SCP-4959: The Isogen-5 Quantum Criticality Event
Dr Tomas Quintovaray: I have been instructed by my superiors to report immediately to ████ for ████████████.
██████: Hello SCP-4959 my name is ██████ and I will be taking over the interview process.

Closing Statement: The entity demonstrates an intimate understanding of foundation terminology, procedures and concepts. The latter part of this interview has been redacted per ██████.
Foreword: The following interview of SCP-4959 was given at Site 59 for the purposes of gathering additional information regarding the entities previous presence in different realities.

Dr. Charles Andborough: Hello SCP-4959, I am going to ask you some questions about the place you came from before you came here.
SCP-4959: Yes, I see you.
Dr. Charles Andborough: When you spoke with my associate you said that you came here from the “New-Eden” cluster and that a governing body exists there with similar intention to the SCP Foundation. Can you explain to me how it is that you avoided detection?
SCP-4959: CONCORD is an amalgam between your earthly governments and the SCP Foundation, it’s a chaotic bond born of necessity not unlike the turbulent social synergies of the humans here. I have avoided detection by manifesting myself as a member of that world’s new gods.
Dr. Charles Andborough: New gods?
SCP-4959: Yes, they are people who fly around in green eggs and hide their minds from death. When the egg breaks the goo boils out into the cold of space but their mind is already somewhere else. They wake up alive and new to make the same mistakes again and again.
Dr. Charles Andborough: How does manifesting as one of these green egg people prevent CONCORD or any other organization with this level of technology from detecting you?
SCP-4959: All of the technology in that reality has a mind, from the capsuleer dossiers in CONCORD all the way down to the simplest and smallest data storage units. If something can think things I can make it think different things.
Dr. Charles Andborough: You are talking about AI?
SCP-4959: Yes, every single document used to validate a person’s identity as a capsuleer is attached too or interacts with some form of AI. I can rewrite history but when I do it I am far cleaner than when you people do.
Dr. Charles Andborough: Are you reading my mind right now?
SCP-4959: Yes, I see you. I see all of you.
Dr. Charles Andborough: Are you a threat to me, to the foundation?
SCP-4959: I am not a threat. No, I am not planning on leaving this place. No, I am not going to explode or implode or cause any sort of cataclysmic event. I do not cause these events, I mitigate them or observe them.
Dr. Charles Andborough: Is there something you want from us?
SCP-4959: The place where I am kept, I would like 1920s Jazz Music to play and I want the walls to be smeared with garlic.
Dr. Charles Andborough: I will make that happen.
SCP-4959: You have to leave now, I will be here.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: The entity demonstrates a cosmic capacity for mind reading and control of systems of intelligence including humans, AI and potentially plants.
