The recognition of the objects, phenomenon and entities that live outside of the natural realm realized as threats to humanity laid wake to the formation of The Foundation. It is intrinsic to the lower wise man to acknowledge anomalies, to comprehend and destroy it, and The Foundation is none the better. The following chapters will discuss recognition of the threats, process of comprehension, and the means of destruction and manipulation among recognized threats and anomalies.
Chapter 1
Recognizing the Threats
Preface: It is important to address all anomalies as threats. The unknown aspect of anything that is not discerned by conventional knowledge led to numerous loss of life, in line with this, protocol θ-Chk1 assumes danger to objects, phenomena and entities that is beyond the conventional knowledge.

Chapter 1 revolves around the cryptic information of Dr. Clef and his involvement to the very first SCP, his knowledge to the first was very essential to understanding the description of what an SCP is, and what it is to humanity. In this chapter, Dr. clef discusses the underlying issues and methodologies in finding and recognizing anomalous objects and entities without giving mention to the first SCP as he referenced it many times.
