Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is always to be kept in a modified Standard humanoid containment cell. Its containment cell is to be sanitized and the air inside vacuumed out every two weeks; vacuumed out air is to be stored in gas canisters and disposed of by the bio-hazard team every month. An airborne particle detector is to be replaced with a new filter every month. Outside of SCP-XXXX’s containment cell is an air lock camber with sanitizing spray, all foundation personnel along with the D-class personnel assigned to cleaning SCP-XXXX containment cell will enter through this airlock. All foundation personnel will have to wear a bio-hazard suit, any D-class personnel entering will only where their standard D-class uniforms. Entrance to SCP-XXXX’s containment cell is exclusively to level 2 personnel and above, sanitation of SCP-XXXX’s containment cell will be carried out by two members of the Bio-hazard team and three D-Class personnel. Food and drink is to be provided to SCP-XXXX on a daily basis by D-class personnel. Following interview log SCP-XXXX-B it is to be provided various reading material every six (6) months, and a new dictionary every year. Due to SCP-XXXX’s vast knowledge of the languages of west Asia, it can see other SCP documents, but said documents must have the proper redacted material that normal documents have. Upper level restricted documents such as SCP-████, SCP-2998, SCP-3959, and SCP-███ at to be approved case by case by the O5 council. Any and all personnel or objects leaving SCP-XXXX’s containment cell are to be disinfected before being allowed to encounter other humans or SCP’s. In the event of a containment breach, site ██ will go under breach protocols, Mobile Task Force Beta-7 (Maz Hatters) will enter the facility, under no circumstances will they use lethal force against SCP-XXXX; as of ██/██/████, MTF Beta-7 is allowed to use guns modified to shoot rubber balls, a last resort is to use moose tranquilizers on any hostiles in the direct presence of SCP-XXXX, See incident report SCP-XXXX-002. Any personnel of any level that enter SCP-XXXX’s containment cell without a bio-hazard suit will be detained and terminated upon leaving the containment cell, personnel’s body will be incinerated immediately after termination, along with any D-class experiments. If SCP-XXXX needs to be moved it is to return to its sarcophagus and four D-class personnel are to carry SCP-XXXX’s sarcophagus to its new location accompanied by two Security guards.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the reanimated body of the late King Tutankhamen, testing of its skin cells show a consistence of over 3,300 years of decay, testing of its organs reveals the same, though the visual state of the organs and skin are those of the mummified by the early Egyptians. SCP-XXXX can produce an airborne pathogen capable of killing anything that coming in contact with it over an unknown period of time, tests results range from two days to ten years. The pathogen has yet to be identified, lab tests of the pathogen have reveled to be like no other known pathogen. Production of the pathogen is passive to some extent, as SCP-XXXX has shown to be able to produce more of it at times. Though it doesn’t know how it does so on command. SCP-XXXX is sentient and able to speak fluent Arabic, Sumerian, English, and an unidentified spoken language described by SCP-XXXX as an early form of [DATA REDACTED]; it can also read hieroglyphics, cuneiform, and early form of [DATA REDACTED]. SCP-XXXX has shown to not want to cause violence and will abide with any re-containment effort as seen in incident SCP-XXXX-001, see SCP-XXXX-001. It has been shown that it has an average intelligence and will have intelligent discussions with foundation scientists or researchers and will answer most questions, see interview log SCP-XXXX-A and interview log SCP-XXXX-B
As of █/██/███ any requests for the lights in its containment cell to be turned off for any other purpose other than to sleep are to be granted without O5 approval, all attempts to view SCP-XXXX during its lights off via the night vision cameras in SCP-XXXX’s cell are prohibited, see incident report SCP-XXXX-003.

SCP-XXXX: Hello there doctor
Dr. Isis: I’m here to ask some questions, is that okay?
Dr. Isis: Let’s start things off, do you know who found you?
SCP-XXXX: A man by the name of Carter or something
Dr. Isis: that is correct Howard Carter do you know what happened to his research team along with himself?
SCP-XXXX: Somewhat, they died of a supposed curse that I had left on them for opening my tomb, I presume that this curse was the air born pathogen?
Dr. Isis: Yes, you are correct, now I’m going to ask some other questions.
Audio log continues for another forty minutes and composed of mostly random questions related to the time that SCP-XXXX was in its sarcophagus and an assortment of other related questions; the following are the highlighted points of the audio log

Dr. Isis: So, you were able to hear everything that was around you, but you couldn’t see, is that correct?
SCP-XXXX: Yes, there was a small time at which I was able to see out of a small crack in my sarcophagus, I think this is where the pathogen was able to escape into my burial chamber.
Dr. Isis: What about speech? Where you able to talk?
SCP-XXXX: Yes, but it was muffled by my sarcophagus, I eventually gave up till Mr. Carter found my burial chamber, but even then they couldn’t hear me. I was though able to practice talking in the English tongue so people could understand me, you see before I was found by Mr. Carter I only could speak Arabic, so when I did practice my English, I would hear people talking about the ghost of King Tut. I presume that is where your people were notified about me
Dr. Isis: Yes, that is correct, UIU agent Khnum █████ was sent to investigate, when he reported an unknown pathogen that was slowly leaking out of your sarcophagus that’s when we were notified about you.

Dr. Isis: So, did your people dance to anything?
SCP-XXXX: Can you please describe dance?
Dr. Isis: Dancing, you know moving your body in some sort of rhythmic beat.
SCP-XXXX: I think I understand. Yes we did, ritualistically we did that.
Dr. Isis: What did it look like?
Dr. Isis: Oh never mind

Dr. Isis: So, you’re saying that you guys where visited by aliens?
SCP-XXXX: I wouldn’t say aliens, the looked like [DATA REDACTED]

At that point a security force had entered the room and had guns raised at SCP-XXXX prompting it to return to its sarcophagus immediately. SCP-XXXX complied and went it to its sarcophagus.
Note: SCP-XXXX later asked what he had done to make them mad, Researcher █████ explained that SCP-XXXX was producing an excess of its pathogen. SCP-XXXX was shown to be confused and asked if they knew how he could do that Researcher █████ told it that they were still trying to find out how that was possible. SCP-XXXX asked if he could write a formal letter to Dr. Isis saying that he is sorry for his actions, request granted. When asked if it had anything to share about SCP-682 all that was heard was mumbling about something being referred to as the [DATA EXPUNGED], all further questioning about the details of the [DATA EXPUNGED] has only received silence from SCP-XXXX until another question is asked.

Researcher Set: : now for the record you were a king of Egypt?
SCP-XXXX: yes, was that ever in question?
Researcher Set: : Just needed confirmation now first question, what where your gods? Where they human, or something else?

[Researcher Set is seen to be in a slight state of shock, but collects himself after a few seconds]
Researcher Set: : Okay then next question, now when Dr. Isis interviewed you said that [DATA REDACTED] had visited your people, did any of them speak to you directly? Did they give you anything?

Researcher Set: : And they weren’t hostel to your people or you when you spoke to them?
SCP-XXXX: No, all they talked about was that if we worshiped them and didn’t try to harm them, that they would share knowledge with us
Researcher Set: : Did you happen to see or learn any of this knowledge? Did you get to see where they were from?

Researcher Set: : Thank you SCP-XXXX, the information that you have given us can help change the history of your time, I also feel that you should be rewarded for your information about SCP-████, is there anything that you would like? I might be able to convince the site command and O5 to allow you some privileges.
SCP-XXXX: Well now that you mention it, I would like to learn about what has happened to the world since my death. Maybe some, what do you call them, books?

Notes: The information that we learned about today must never leave this document and because of that I will be redacting the data that was shared with me by SCP-XXXX, I will also be taking a Class B amnesiac so that even I won’t remember the information that I learned. This stuff could change everything that we know about the Egyptians and humanity isn’t ready for what they would learn; only the O5 council will know what to do with this data. Incident report SCP-XXXX-001
On ██/█/████ Site ██ was breached by members of The Chaos Insurgency, site security was dispatched and able to prevent most damage. During the breach a small but heavily armored group of The Chaos Insurgency split apart from the main group, they made their way to SCP-XXXX’s containment cell. Upon reaching its cell they broke through the airlock and the secondary cell door; during this SCP-XXXX was ordered to return to its sarcophagus, SC-XXXX attempted to get back into its sarcophagus but was interrupted by a member of The Chaos Insurgency grabbing SCP-XXXXs arm and pulling as the group left the chamber. SCP-XXXX tried to attack the members of the Insurgency but was told that it was going to be freed, SCP-XXXX disregarded this knowing that it was unsafe for it to be out in the open, it continued to attempt at attacking the Insurgency members until it was threatened by one of the members at which point SCP-XXXX stopped attacking, but is seen to be clenching its fists and slightly shaking its body as if it where cold, the group carried on walking ahead, after exactly nine seconds of doing this SCP-XXXX yells a sentence in an unknown language as its entire body shook, the members of the Insurgency in its area immediately begin coughing uncontrollability until they fell to the ground motionless. MTF Beta-7 was sent in to retrieve SCP-XXXX from its current position, where they found SCP-XXXX sitting on the ground surrounded by the members of the Insurgency that had tried to free it, all dead by the pathogen even though they were wearing gas masks. MTF Beta-7 was able to retrieve SCP-XXXX and return it to its containment cell.
Notes: When SCP-XXXX was questioned about how it was able to produce enough of the pathogen to be able to negate the gas masks filters, it only responded saying that ‘I just felt a surge of power through my body and next thing I knew it they were all dead’; further testing into this phenomenon has failed.
Incident report SCP-XXXX-002
On ██/██/████ approximately █ weeks after SCP-XXXX-001 site ██ was attacked by two G.O.I.’s both the Chaos Insurgency and The Serpents Hand, though questioning of captives from the raid concluded in no cooperation between the two groups in the planning of SCP-XXXX’s escape. At █:██ A.M. The C.I. attacked Site ██, by using a currently unknown anomalous object capable of the [DATA REDACTED] of solid objects, after the initial breach on the [DATA REDACTED] side of the facility another breach happened by the C.I. using an unknown anomalous humanoid capable of creating category ██ earthquakes, later terminated after ███ facility casualties, these C.I. where later determined to be a distraction so that the main group could get what they needed. At █:██ A.M. exactly █ minutes after the C.I.’s breach the G.O.I. The Serpents Hand breached into the cafeteria using a teleportation capable object to breach, identification of the object is still underway; at the time Agent Bes was celebration her birthday with ██ other personnel of which █ where security guards at Site ██, where able to kill several members of The Serpents Hand before being overpowered and killed. The group then continued forward into the facility towards SCP-XXXX containment cell. At █:██ A.M. the C.I. reacted SCP-XXXX’s cell followed by The Serpents Hand █ minuets after. The two groups had a brief conflict that ended in only █ members of the C.I. and ██ members of The Serpents hand remaining and forming a group together for a short time to breach SCP-XXXX’s containment cell. During the initial breach SCP-XXXX was ordered to go into its sarcophagus; by the time that the two groups breached its cell SCP-XXXX was protected in its sarcophagus. When the two groups got through the air lock they were shown to be confused at SCP-XXXX not being in the cell, after a brief moment a member of the C.I. noted the sarcophagus in the room and told thee others, at the exact same time another member of the C.I. noted the security camera in the room and shot at it, destroying it. After █ minuets the security camera outside of SCP-XXXX’s cell caught the two groups exiting SCP-XXXX’s cell with SCP-XXXX with them, showing to be attempting to escape from them but being told they were freeing him. The group is shown to go through the facility via security cameras throughout the hallways. At █:██ A.M. MTF Beta-7 entered the facility to re-contain SCP-XXXX, they were given gun modified to shoot rubber balls at the targets in case of a hostage situation. At the time Commander Sekhmet of MTF Beta-7 argued that the use of rubber balls would be “A [DATA EXPUNGED] insult to a team as highly trained as mine!” and though numerously told not to, decided to bring a rifle equipped with moose tranquilizers. At █:██ A.M. Beta-7 was told that the raid group was heading towards hallway F, a four way intersection, Beta-7 planned to trap the raid group in the intersection by splitting up into four different groups and heading in different direction that would lead to hallway F in order to surround them from all four sides. Commander Sekhmet’s group was going to attempt at a head on assault while the other groups where going to flank them from the other sides. At ██:██ P.M. the last group was able to get behind the raid group and into place. The signal was given by Commander Sekhmet but the raid group unknown to Foundations awareness had a telepath in their group, later identified as [DATA REDACTED], the assault was a failure and resulted in the death of █ members of Beta-7. Commander Sekhmet was wounded but was able to fire her tranquilizer at the telepath, allowing the rest of Beta-7 to commence another assault one the raid group. The assault lasted for five minutes in which another █ members of Beta-7 died, the second assault was successful and was able to detail the raid group and bring them in for questioning. While half of Beta-7 left to bring the remaining members of the raid group to be questioned, Commander Sekhmet and nine other members made contact with SCP-XXXX and was able to bring it back to its containment cell without incident.

Incident report SCP-XXXX-003
On ██/██/████ approximately █ months after the second raid on SCP-XXXX, Director Aten of site ██ sent a formal letter to SCP-XXXX apologizing for the recent assaults on it and that they were going to figure out what the Chaos Insurgency and the Serpents Hand want with it, at the same time Director Aten sent a message to the current overseer of SCP-XXXX to allow its organs to be given back to it they were done with all the testing that they needed to do on them. At █:██ A.M. Overseer Aten announced to SCP-XXXX that they were sending its organs back to it and that it could do what it wanted with them. SCP-XXXX showed to sit up from its chair where it was reading the current year’s dictionary. D-2347 was told to enter SCP-XXXX with its organs in the preserving jars. D-2347 hesitated for a moment before entering the air lock. Once inside D-2347 put its organs on a table before exiting the containment cell mumbling ‘Not surprised they have a walking cadaver in here’. D-2347 was in Site ██’s custody since he was ██ years old and was familiar with many of Site ██’s SCP’s as he has shown to have a high amount of ‘luck’ though due to no scientific proof he has never been classified as an SCP. SCP-XXXX closed its book and stood up from where it sat and approached the table with the preserving jars. Before opening any of them it looked at the security camera in its cell and said ‘You’ll want to extinguish the fires, this might get messy’, Overseer Aten allowed for the lights to be turned off but turned on the inferred cameras on allowing him to see what SCP-XXXX was going to do. After █ seconds of the lights turning off SCP-XXXX opened the first jar, which held its heart, and promptly [DATA EXPUNDGED] after which it did the same for its other organs before sealing up the cavities with the cloth wrapping it had removed in the beginning, later medical test of the areas show them to not have any scar damage, before standing up and announcing that they could relight the fires but Overseer Aten was curled up in a fetal position in the corner of the observation room. During SCP-XXXX’s ‘surgery’ of its body to put its organs back in, Overseer Aten was watching. An interview of Overseer Aten on what he had witnessed was done, though all that came from the interview was that SCP-XXXX [DATA EXPUNDGED]. Psychological reviews and tests show that whatever Aten had seen was enough to cause a very high amount of trauma and tomophobia. Aten was treated with Class C amnesiacs and put into treatment at Site ██’s psychological ward, though treatment was successful Aten has shown on many cases to have brief gaps where he remembers bits and pieces of the event.

The following is a brief summary of the events related to SCP-XXXX
1922: King tut is found in the Valley of Kings by Howard Carter. Agent L████ was sent in to see if there were any information about any SCP’s that was hidden in tomb, none was found but traces of a unknown pathogen where detected and an permanent undercover agent was dispatched to oversee the future operations of the excavation
1923: George Herbert, 5th Earl of Carnarvon died, first death attributed to the pathogen, cover story of a mosquito bite was spread. That same year George Jay Gould died of the pathogen. Cover story of a fever was spread. Research into the pathogen started.
1924: Sir Archibald Douglas-Reid died of the pathogen, cover story of a heart attack was to be spread but an unknown operative was able to spread a story of a mysterious illness, efforts to find the operative or take down the story ended in failure
1930: After numerous testing the whole of King Tuts tomb was categorized as SCP-XXXX, entree into it was closed off field agents sent to keep tabs on it.
1939: Howard Carter died of the pathogen, cover story of Hodgkin’s lymphoma was spread

1980: Evelyn Herbert died, last survivor of the opening of the tomb
2004: After 24 years of no reported deaths contributed to the tomb SCP-XXXX was considered to be inactive and was declared terminated, document was incinerated and field agents dismissed
2015: The death mask of King Tut is broken off, field agents embedded into the local authorities are assigned to check it out. According to SCP-XXXX he ‘woke up after a 20 year long rest’ after this event, reports of voices from the sarcophagus start coming in
2016: After a year of continuous reports of voices coming from the sarcophagus of King Tut UIU agent Khnum █████ is sent in to investigate the area, scans show an unknown pathogen emitting from the sarcophagus, SCP Foundation is contacted
June 2016: The SCP Foundation masked as ‘the Society of Conservation and Protection’ took possession of the body and the sarcophagus of King Tut, the body of King Tut is reclassified as SCP-XXXX
