Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5329 is to be only kept in a airtight bulletproof glass fully submerged in water. With no few than 3 armed guards guarding it.
Description: SCP-5329 is a fine salt that upon contact begins self replicating and attaching itself to its "host" beggining coverage. Upon full coverage the subject will from now on be refered to as SCP-5329-1. SCP-5329-SCP-5329-1 will then turn extremely hostile towards anything in their path trying to convert them too. All personel that came in contact with SCP-5329 will be deemed lost and incinerated.
It is unknown wether SCP-5329 is sentient or not. Researches have shown that SCP-5329-1's "host" seems to be still alive indicating that SCP-5329 works as a parasite rather than anything else. SCP-5329 has also shown to spread itself on normal surfaces albeit slower. SCP-5329 was first found in an abandoned salt mine near the town of ⬛⬛⬛⬛. All instances of SCP-5329-1 and SCP-5329 being promtly burned

Notebook found in salt mine where SCP-5329 was first located reads the following:

Cold. All i feel is cold. The monsters arent chasing me anymore. Do they think im one of them? Im not. Im never gonna be like them.
Day#2
What is happening? I am becoming one of the monsters! How can this be!? My legs and right arm turned into salt. I don't know how much more i can live like that
Day#3
I can barely see anything… The salt covered my left eye and most of my right eye. The notebook is turning too. I have lost all hope.
Next to the notebook was found a young woman aproximatelly 155 centimeters tall partially turned into a SCP-5329-1 instance with a gun shot in her forehead indicating suicide.
Addendum #2:
Containment breach/ 17th of ⬛⬛⬛⬛/⬛⬛⬛⬛
4 grams of SCP-5329 have escaped containment by unknown means. Inffecting 3 on site guards and 2 on-site researchers prompting the site to go into lockdown.
20th of ⬛⬛⬛⬛/⬛⬛⬛⬛: all SCP-5329-1 instances have been terminated with 20 more infectations. Janitorial staff has been deployed in full body coverage to clean and get rid of all of SCP-5329.
