Item #: SCP-????
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a twenty by ten foot containment cube, with another five (5) by five (5) cube containing a window used for interviews. In the containment cell there is to be coconut substrate, a water dish large enough to fit SCP-XXXX, a primitive shelter to allow SCP-XXXX to hide and rest in, and automatic mystifiers attached to the ceiling of the containment cell. As long as SCP-XXXX remains cooperative with staff personnel, it may receive one (1) or more positive stimuli to be designated by the current primary researcher. This typically consists of one hundred (100) or so extra crickets or mealworms depending on the researcher. A D-Class will be sent in every 12 hours to change SCP-XXXX's water and to feed SCP-XXXX. Feeding will consist of giving SCP-XXXX around 30-40 pounds of one (1) inch long female crickets, coated in calcium powder. Monthly 3 D-Class will be sent in to replace SCP-XXXX's substrate and to remove any or all [REDACTED] found within the substrate. If [REDACTED] is found within the substrate the D-Class will alert the foundation personnel present.
Description SCP-XXXX is a five (5) foot tall Anaxyrus americanus or Common American Toad, with the ability to telepathically communicate. SCP-XXXX is never outright rude or harmful to foundation personnel and researchers have described interviews with SCP-XXXX as downright pleasant. SCP-XXXX is commonly referred to as Bogwart by foundation personnel due to the express instance by SCP-XXXX in interviews. Researchers have observed beginning the process of creating a [REDACTED]. It is unknown at this time what makes SCP-XXXX begin to produce [REACTED], yet it has stated: "Ive only begun to [DATA EXPUNGED] after joining the facility. Due to the unstable nature of SCP-XXXX's [REDACTED], it is extremely important for the D-Class tasked with cleaning out SCP-XXXX's substrate to locate [REDACTED] and alert foundation personnel. On average there will be 5 or more instances of [REDACTED] per year.

<Begin Log>
Interviewer: Hello, I am █████. I work here at the foundation. We contain and protect Anomalous objects and creatures, such as yourself. Im told you were living in [DATA EXPUNGED] before foundation personnel were alerted to your presence.
SCP-XXXX: … Due to the telepathic nature of SCP-XXXX, it must be transcribed by the interviewer. W-what? How did you find me? Where is the creek?
Junior Researcher █████: Like I have stated, we are the SCP foundation. We Secure, Contain, and Protect anomalies like yourself. We have transferred you to Site-██. If your containment is not adequate please inform on site foundation personnel. I'm here to ask you a few questions, can you do that?
SCP-XXXX: … I..uh..guess so?
Junior Researcher █████: Thank you for your cooperation, if it continues there will be a food based incentive. First, is there any preferred name you'd like the foundation to address you by?
SCP-XXXX: … //My name is Bowart! Now why am I here? Please let me return to the creek. I swear I haven't done anything wrong! You've got to believe me! Please!
Junior Researcher █████: You were in danger there, so we had to contain you. Now please comply and answer the questions. Are you aware that you have a telepathic ability? What I mean by this is do you understand that you can talk to me in our heads?
SCP-XXXX: … What? Of course I have been able to do this since I was born! Ok please, I've answered your question! It's going to be [DATA EXPUNGED] soon so please let me go. I need to return to the creek to [DATA EXPUNGED].
Junior Researcher █████: What exactly do you mean by [DATA EXPUNGED]?
SCP-XXXX: I am dying and so are the rest of us. [DATA EXPUNGED] is our only chance at salvation.
