Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX containment chamber should be made of nonconductive materials and lined with a six-inch layer of Teflon. Personnel are prohibited to bring any electronic devices into the containment chamber without approval from a level three researcher or higher.
SCP-XXXX must be to be given at least one fully charged 18 V battery per day. If there is a drop in its average power output It must be continually given batteries until its output return to normal levels.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a amorphous ball of electrical energy, that is approximately 1 x 1 feet. SCP-XXXX is intelligent to some degree due to it actions during initial containment (see log for more details), although to what degree is hard to tell since it doesn't seem to be able to understand any Foundation staff. It is believed to have caused several small scale power outages throughout the Midwest prior to containment. The Foundation has not yet been able to verify such claims.
SCP-XXX primary anomalous affect is that it is able to enter any electronic device, once inside it's able to control and somewhat modify the device. However SCP-XXXX appears to be unable of modify devices that are significantly larger then it self.
The second anomalous effect of SCP-XXXX is it's ability to get into any wiring that does not have at least 6 inches of insulation.This anomalous effect was best demonstrated during initial containment where uses this ability to continually outmaneuver MTF-Gammma-50 (see interview log for more details).
Containment Log: Object was first discovered by the Foundation on 8/25/2018 in the town of Sparta, Wisconsin a when power outage occurs in where there was no damaged power lines and with all nearby power plants operating as normal. An agent living in the town was sent out to investigate. They manage to spot SCP-XXXX while it was darting between power lines. However before a MTF could arrive SCP-XXXX had a already left the town. For the next year SCP-XXXX continue to appear throughout the Midwest, until on 5/9/2020 it was tracked heading towards Emmitsburg, Iowa, where MTF-Gammma-50 "Iron grip" manage to contain SCP-XXXX

Interviewer: Dr.Keep

Agent Sigil: Let’s get this over with already Dr..?
Dr.Keep: Keep, alright than start from the beginning.
Agent Sigil: We entered the house where it was located. We heard an electric crackle coming from the kitchen. As we entered the anomaly detected us and well it just kind of went up to our faces and just kind looking at us. It kind of seemed to be curious.
[ long period of silence]
Dr.Keep: Then what happened?
Agent Sigil: Right, right, we proceeded to try to capture it. As soon as we did tried shock us luckily insulated suits they gave us actually worked. After it failed to hunt us it proceeded to enter the nearby microwave and somehow managed to modify it to shoot fire at us. What's it was done trying to roast me and my team it proceeded to run off to another building. And so begins our 4 hour wild goose chase.
Dr.Keep: We know you didn't have any equipment that would allow you to track this anomaly, so how were you able to follow it?
Agent Sigil: It was surprisingly easy. The things seemed to want us to follow it. Whenever we lost track of the anomaly it would always leave where it was hiding. It would then make sure to get our attention them bolt back into where it was hiding.
Dr.Keep: Alright please contin-
Agent Sigil: Dr. do you really want me to go over the whole 4 hour chase because that would be a lot of me saying, we followed it to its to where was hiding, we tried to catch it, it attacked us, we took cover, it ran away, rinse and repeat for 4 hours.
Dr.Keep: Okay fine can you at least give me a comprehensive list of what it possessed and what the modified items did.
Agent Sigil: Already on it. Lieut.Sebastian is talking to the men and is already writing a comprehensive list of those.
Dr.Keep: Alright! How did you finally capture the anomaly?
Agent Sigil: We followed it to a funeral home. I sent most of my team into the funeral home to try to drive it towards the back door well me and Sgt.Reiber went around back to try and catch it when it was tried to escape. Unfortunately as we were trapping it the anomaly seem to panicked. It shot large amounts of electricity towards the both of us enough where it was able to get through the insulation our suits. It hit Sgt.Reiber in his right shoulder causing him violently began to spasm and twitch uncontrollably. As far as I know he's still in that state at the moment. Luckily for me my arm took the brunt of it so I wasn't injured too badly. Ugg Dr.Olsen, she's going to have my head for damaging it again. Anyway we successfully contained the anomaly and brought It here. Where as soon as I arrived I was brought in to talk to you. Alright happy now?
Dr.Keep: Yes, we're done here.
