Special Containment Procedures
SCP-4000-1 and SCP-4000-3 are to be contained in a 3 m x 3 m x 3 m Standard Item Containment Cell with walls made of 4 cm steel on Site-███. SCP-4000-1 is to be placed in a sword rack made of oak on a 2 m x 0.5 x 0.5 m concrete item pillar and protected using a 3 mm thick bullet-resistant glass. SCP-4000-2 instances are to be placed in a Standard Item Locker. SCP-4000-1 must not be removed from its scabbard, unless for testing purposes.

SCP-4000-2 is to be contained in a 10 m x 3 m x 10 m m Standard Humanoid Containment Cell with standard amenities and is to be manned by two(2) armed guards. Three(3) daily meals are to be provided to SCP-4000-2 as well as 5 liters of human blood once a month. Level 3 or above Clearance is required to access SCP-4000-2. The head of research of items relating to SCP-4000 will be Dr V.
As of 4/20/2010, testing on SCP-4000 items has been suspended due to Incident 4000-420 until further notice as well as SCP-4000-2 will not be given any form of narcotics of alcoholic beverages. -Dr. V
Description
SCP-4000-1 is a Iaito-style Japanese longsword made by Sengo Muramasa on an unknown date in the 15th Century A.D. The blade is nearly 1.3 m long, colored metallic grey and is made of SCP-4000-3. The hilt’s wrappings are made of a grey fabric made of cotton, silk and treated cow leather. The kabira, makugi, tsuba, abaki and kurigatre is made of a tin-based bronze with the Japanese Kanji for “death” as markings.
The first of SCP-4000-1’s anomilis properties activate when a sentient humanoid comes within arms reach. Test Subjects have said that they’ve felt the blade “calling” to them to unsheath the blade and to “make the rivers red.” When SCP-4000-1 is unsheathed by a sentient humanoid, their brain waves are altered to the point of bloodlust. Users of SCP-4000-1 will gain enhanced strength, stamina, swordsmanship, pain and damage thresholds.
SCP-4000-2 is a male human who appears in their 20s but is nearly six-hundred years old. It is of average weight and height for a 15th Century Japanese working class male and its anomilis physical features is its silver hair, deep-grey skin, and feline-like eyes. SCP-4000-2 has enhanced healing, strength, agility, reflexes, stamina, pain and damage thresholds, as well as high level skills in swordplay. When SCP-4000-2 wields SCP-4000-1, any blood that comes in comes in contact with the blade of SCP-4000-1 becomes a deep-purple which will boost the damage output.
SCp-4000-3 is a set of 41 1 lb ingots of a previously unknown, grey metal. The blade of SCP-4000-1 is made of SCP-4000-3.
