Special Containment Procedures: Currently, a ██ km exclusion zone is established around SCP-5769. A minimum of 3 armed guards are to be stationed at all times at intervals of 0.75 km around the circumference of the current exclusion zone. Any attempts of accessing the exclusion zone, whether from human beings or local fauna, is to be met with lethal force. Wireless sensors are installed at varying distances around the exclusion zone. If a series of systems were to go offline, a new exclusion zone is to be established and all personnel within are to be considered lost. Additionally, all personnel stationed around the exclusion zone are strictly forbidden from carrying any type of electronic devices(except for noise cancelling headphones), and are required to wear remotely-detonated explosive collars, which in the case of an expansion event, are to be automatically triggered to prevent further expansion. All personnel assigned to SCP-5769 must rotate out for psychological testing to insure mental integrity. After a period ranging between two to six weeks, personnel can be reassigned back to SCP-5769.
Description: SCP-5769 is believed to be a standard-built cradle, with estimated dimensions of 70x85x60 cm. SCP-5769 is located in [DATA EXPUNGED], a lightly populated village which was swiftly evacuated following Incident 5769-01.
SCP-5769's anomalous phenomena occur when any sentient life form or electronic device capable of at least ███ IPS, which would be then referred to as SCP-5769-1, enters a certain proximity around SCP-5769, which will be referred to as its current area of effect. Immediately after entering SCP-5769's area of effect, biological instances of SCP-5769-1 will, apparently, cease all brain functions and appear unresponsive to stimuli for a period which ranges between 45 seconds to ██ minutes. Following the period of cessation, SCP-5769-1 will then regain crude motor skills and attempt to move towards SCP-5769. SCP-5769-1 will then start to [DATA EXPUNGED] with other instances, forming circles of varying radii around it and will start to seep a thick, unidentified substance that is believed to be a mixture of blood, excreta and [DATA EXPUNGED]. Additionally, SCP-5769-1 will start reciting [DATA REDACTED], although the mechanism behind this is unknown, considering the drastic change in anatomy. Analysis of the audio feed from Incident 5769-1 hints towards the possibility that the entity which the chants are directed to could be SCP-2317-K. Electronic instances of SCP-5769 will also, upon entering SCP-5769’s area of effect, cease all operation. Infrared imaging suggests that electronic instances of SCP-5769 also become active after an unknown time period. However, their function remains unidentified.
When an instance of SCP-5769-1 is created, SCP-5769's area of effect expands. The magnitude of the expansion is hypothesized to be proportional with the instance's intelligence/computational power. Due to the potential of SCP-5769's area of effect reaching large populations and causing a catastrophic chain reaction, possibly leading to an XK-Class end-of-the-world scenario, all neighboring cities have been evacuated under cover story ("Virulent Epidemic").
Addendum 5769-1: SCP-5769 was discovered when a family of three, including a newborn, were believed to have gone missing. 4 of the family’s neighboring households have reported hearing [DATA EXPUNGED] coming from the missing family’s house, with two of aforementioned household’s occupants being reported as missing soon after. MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") was dispatched to the scene to investigate and report back to Site-██ (See Document 5769-1)
Document 5769-1: The following is a transcript of a video feed collected from Commander ██████ during Incident 5769-1. MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") was tasked with approaching [DATA REDACTED] and investigating the source of the disappearances.

Commander ██████: Beginning log at 12:38 am. This is Commander ██████, approaching target. Requesting to proceed.
Video feed shows building number ██. Roof appears to be heavily punctured and the windows on the first floor have been shattered. [DATA EXPUNGED] can be clearly heard in the audio feed
Sitecommand: You're clear.
E6-7: They weren't kidding when they said it was unsettling to hear. What language do you even think that is, boss?
Commander ██████: Not our business here. Let’s clear the first floor, see what we can find, and leave the rest to the white coats.
Team gets into breach formation, with E6-2 leading.
Commander ██████: (Gestures to E6-2 to breach)
E6-2 attempts to open the door to find it already unlocked. E6-2 then throws a stun grenade and enters after it detonates. The team follows and clears the ground floor of the building. The floor appears to be in order, with no signs of foul play. The furniture appears to be undamaged and properly placed. [DATA EXPUNGED] is heard extremely loudly coming from the top floor
E6-15: Jesus!
E6-7: What the hell is that?
Commander ██████: You guys getting that?
Sitecommand: Affirmative. Have a quick look and proceed to the top floor.
Commander ██████: Copy that.
Team searches the area, with nothing standing out of the ordinary. The team members then regroup at the stairs leading to the top floor. Signs of a struggle can be seen on the stairs, with scratches and scuffs covering most of it. [DATA EXPUNGED] appears to be covering the top four flights
E6-7: Even with active noise cancellation, feels like my eardrums will burst.
E6-3: God, that smell too.
The team climbs the stairs. The second floor appears to be one long corridor with rooms branching on each side, with a main bedroom at the end. The corridor is seen to be covered with [DATA EXPUNGED], which appears to be emerging from the main bedroom. The door leading into the main bedroom is open. The interior of the room is seen as pitch black. Infrared video feed reveals nothing as well
Commander ██████: Looks like we got our target in sight.
E6-2: I can’t see shit in there!
E6-15: These goddamn noise cancelers are doing jackshit!
Commander ██████: This is Commander ██████ to Sitecommand. Our NVDs can't see into that room. Whatever's in there, it's affecting our gear. Please advise.
Sitecommand: Do not remove the NVDs, E6, this could be a visual cognitohazard.
Commander ██████: I repeat, this is Commander ██████ to Sitecommand. Please advise.
Sitecommand: Sitecommand to E6, do you copy?
Commander ██████: (Addressing team members) I think we just lost contact with Sitecommand.
E6-3: Fuck!
E6-2: Any ideas, boss?
Commander ██████: We've got the numbers, fuck it. Take off the NVDs! If we're gonna have to deal with something in there, we better at least see it.
Entire team is seen removing their NVD headgear
E6-13: Oh god..

Comms is drowned in frantic screaming and shouting from different team members. E6-15 and E6-3, who were leading the formation, can be seen recoiling to the back
Commander ██████: (Voice appears to be trembling) Sitecommand, you better be seeing this shit.
E6-7: ████, let's just leave..
Commander ██████: (Gestures to the team for entry)
Team gets into entry formation. E6-2 approaches the room, with E6-7, E6-13 and E6-15 following directly behind. All four members stop moving suddenly
Commander ██████: ██████? What the fuck are you doing?
Video feed appears to be completely frozen for a period of ██ seconds. Video feed then cuts to show E6-2, E6-7, E6-13 and E6-15 starting to [DATA EXPUNGED]
Commander ██████: GET THE FUCK BACK. MOVE! MOVE!
Commander ██████ recoils and moves away from the room. E6-3 appears unresponsive
