Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained at Area-██ within a 20 m x 20 m x 20 m acid-resistant titanium chamber. There are floodlights on each wall of the primary containment chamber, all of them being 1 m apart from each other. The chamber is equipped with a triple airlock door, with the space between each door equipped with basic sterilization methods. This airlock door leads to the secondary containment cell, in which there is a 1 m walkway encased in 0.5 m of bullet-proof glass. This walkway is the only way to get from the rest of the facility to the primary containment cell. A standard double airlock door is the only way to get into the walkway from the rest of the facility. Because of Incident XXXX-1, the primary containment chamber is now suspended in the center of a 30 m x 30 m x 30 m titanium room, which is the secondary containment chamber. This secondary chamber is completely empty, except for the walkway.
The floor is to be kept extremely cold using dry ice and the chamber with super cooling generators as to not upset SCP-XXXX and is be laced with electrical discharging sockets to subdue SCP-XXXX in the event of a security breach. SCP-XXXX is to be injected liquid cyanide, via remote control, every twelve five hours to prevent it from gaining enough strength to try to escape.
Ten heavily armed guards are to be posted around the outside of SCP-XXXX’s secondary chamber at all times, and rotations are to occur every twelve hours. At no time should there be less than five guards on duty. They are to wear full body biohazard suits along with spike and edged blade protection type body armor. The guards are to be fitted with a skin-tight 1 cm rubber bodysuit and are to wear an M50 gas mask under the biohazard suits.
The guards are to carry a standard M4 rifle semi-auto 12 gauge shotgun with a 30 round drum magazine carrying hollow-point slugs. This is for a swift re-containment in case of a security breach. Re-containment of SCP-XXXX should be considered the top priority.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large, slick skinned, heavily built creature of an unknown origin. It is an estimated 13.7 m in length and 3.7 m in height. Its tail makes up most of its body length, being around 9 m long. It has a 33 cm tongue and two rows of uneven incisors which resemble the texture of stone. They are made up of an unknown but biological substance. Its claws are composed of this substance as well, with each being around 0.6 m in length. They are able to puncture anything weaker than steel most known materials, besides titanium. SCP-XXXX has long arms, which appear to be very atrophied, and short, muscular back legs, as well as a very high regenerative ability.
SCP-XXXX's body temperature is 0.5o Celsius, making it impossible to detect on infrared. Its blood has the consistency of water, and has a pH level of 2, making it highly corrosive. It's saliva is also corrosive, having a pH level of 4.
SCP-XXXX can change its vocal patterns to match that of some human sounds, such as blood-curdling screams and demonic laughter, as well as basic human speech. SCP-XXXX’s skin, as well as its blood, are pitch black, with the exception of its luminescent eyes, which are devoid of color. They trigger a universal fear in subjects that often leaves them immobile.
SCP-XXXX appears to be impervious to most forms of harm, including age, starvation, dehydration, suffocation (although after approximately ██ minutes without oxygen it begins to show signs of distress), disease, extreme temperatures, radiation, and deadly chemicals. Bullet and stab wounds are much more effective in short-term harm, although SCP-XXXX will regenerate soon after.
SCP-XXXX is a cognitohazard, and all living creatures are affected by its anomalous behavior. When a living creature is within a 100 m radius of SCP-XXXX, that creature will have a 40% chance of developing a tumor near vital organs. When a living creature is within a 50 m radius of SCP-XXXX, that creature has a 0.1% chance of contracting an unknown viral agent, dubbed SCP-XXXX-1, that will manifest in the lungs.
When a living creature is within a 5 m radius of SCP-XXXX, that creature (most notably humans) will hear a nonhuman voice in their heads speaking in an unknown language, although the subject will be able to understand everything the voice says, according to D-class test subjects. The voice usually tells the subject all of the guilty things they have done in their lifetime, ranging from cheating on tests and lying to murdering and sexual assault. The voice is assumed to come from SCP-XXXX, but it seems oblivious to it.
The aforementioned viral agent is very contagious, being airborne, foodborne, bloodborne, and waterborne, and has a 100% kill and infection rate. Full quarantine of the area surrounding the subject of SCP-XXXX-1 is to be carried out by D-class personnel only. Any and all bodies contaminated with SCP-XXXX-1 should be burned in a special medical incinerator located at Area-██. Any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 should be reported to the O5 Council immediately, and Dr. ██████ should be notified, as it is very fatal, with the last casualties of this virus being around ██.
It appears, from various examinations, that SCP-XXXX has no vital signs. It has blood, but it does not have a heartbeat. It breathes, but it's respiratory system does not function. It can move and make decisions, but it has no neurological activity. It eats, but it does not digest nutrients, nor does it excrete waste, although the food it eats somehow disappears after a certain period of time. To put it simply, SCP-XXXX is not alive, but it continues to act as if it is. Further research is being conducted on this anomaly. —Dr. ██████
Addendum XXXX-A: SCP-XXXX is heavily sedated and secured to the floor of its chamber with all the floodlights turned off via remote control. Ten D-class personnel are put into the chamber with low-powered headlamps, thermal suits, and walkie-talkies to communicate with Dr. ██████. This is the first time maintenance is needed on SCP-XXXX’s chamber.

Dr. ██████: Be quiet or else it will hear you and kill you.
Night vision cameras capture SCP-XXXX breaking out of its bonds in irritants. It heads towards the D-class personnel.
Personnel D-556: WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?
SCP-XXXX: (Crouches into a hunting position)
A scream is heard from the D-class personnel. Several loud crunches follow.

Audio turns to static at this point, although video surveillance shows SCP-XXXX [DATA EXPUNGED]. After this incident, all maintenance of SCP-XXXX’s chamber would be carried out only by remote-controlled robots/drones.
Addendum XXXX-B: Containment breaches
Log of Incident XXXX-B12: On █/█/20██, during a protocol check-up on SCP-XXXX’s chamber, it managed to fake sedation and escape, going on a slaughtering spree. Foundation casualties numbered at ██, while civilian casualties numbered at █. SCP-XXXX was successfully contained by Mobile Task Force Beta-7. Media coverage of the civilian deaths was covered up as a terrorist attack to prevent public hysteria, and all evidence suggesting otherwise was burned. Any surviving witnesses were given Class-C amnestics. See Incident XXXX-1 for more details.
Recovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered around April 15, 19██ near Anchorage Alaska, after an AMBER Alert went out for a young teenage girl. Shortly after the alert went out, a local man found the body of the girl, as well as the body of her armed kidnapper, while out on a hiking trip. Officials initially assumed the cause of death was a bear attack judging from the wounds, but after traces of SCP-XXXX's blood was found on the kidnapper's jacket, the Foundation was called in to investigate. Three Foundation officials were murdered after they disturbed SCP-XXXX's sleep in a nearby cave. After this, MTF Beta-7 was sent to subdue SCP-XXXX for transportation to Area-██. Addendum XXXX-C: SCP-XXXX-1 was discovered █ years after the initial discovery of SCP-XXXX. Because of the nature of SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX’s threat level had been changed to black by order of the O5 Council, and because of the [DATA EXPUNGED], containment procedures and object class had been updated.
