Special Containment Procedures: Object is to be kept in a 6.35cm diameter glass tube that is 20.32 cm tall at Site-██. Guards are to be stationed 5m away from SCP-XXXX at all times. Anyone who enters 2m of the object is to be apprehended and administered Class-C amnestics unless the site supervisor allows otherwise.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a young shark corpse that is about 16.3cm long with beady black eyes and a thin mouth. Its gills are slightly opened and its back is spotted with yellowish brown spots. Once a sentient being gets within 3m of SCP-XXXX they begin to feel a slight tickling/ nibbling sensation at the nearest point between the being and SCP-XXXX. As the being gets closer the pain intensifies until they get so close to SCP-XXXX that they begin to lose body mass at the rate that a small shark would consume that specific being. Where the matter goes is unknown.
Addendum-XXXX-1: Discovery.
Object was discovered on ██/██/20██, after numerous reports about a souvenir that would cause people to disappear. Object was found in █████, ████, after tracking sales to the area. Object was swiftly contained, and brought to Site-██ for testing.
Addendum-XXXX-2: An attempt to terminate SCP-682 was made with SCP-XXXX on ██/██/ 2020. The following is the log:
16:45: Subject introduced to SCP-682.
16:50: SCP-682 moves closer to subject. Vocalises discomfort, and moves forwards.
16:52: SCP-682 Begins losing body mass. SCP-682 starts shouting expletives at the subject, Attempts to attack the subject.
16:58: SCP-682 knocks over the subject, begins to scream, as it loses body mass at a slightly accelerated rate. SCP-682 has lost 30% of total body mass at this point.
17:02: Amnestics introduced to room, subjects recontained.
