Special Containment Procedures: At this time there are no viable means of containing the complete effects of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX itself is to be contained in a roughly 10 m x 10 m chamber with 1.2 inch reinforced steel plate lining.
The chamber must include a retinal scan which must be attended by two (2) security officers at all times. The chamber must include another smaller 2 m x 2 m chamber with 1.2 inch reinforced steel plate lining which is positioned closer to SCP-XXXX than any other point outside of the chamber. The second smaller chamber must hold one (1) D-Class personnel at all times who is restrained against the wall closest to SCP-XXXX. This D-Class personnel should be terminated and replaced once a week.
No one is to enter the chamber containing SCP-XXXX outside of testing, as instructed by the Senior Researcher. Anyone entering the chamber containing SCP-XXXX is to be accompanied by no less than four (4) security officers and one (1) D-Class personnel who must be wearing a full body restraint. The D-Class personnel must be atleast 2 m closer to SCP-XXXX than anyone else entering the chamber. No one is to enter the chamber containing SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard Smith & Wesson model 686 revolver with the word 'truth' carved on to the grip. Upon contact with SCP-XXXX, subjects become visually irritated and will not respond to any form of reasoning or influence. This 'possessed' state can only affect one subject at a time.
SCP-XXXX is known to induce an intense compulsion in the closest human to it. This compulsion always results in the subject attempting to access SCP-XXXX. Although this compulsion is comparable to the 'possessed' state of subjects in contact with SCP-XXXX, it does not share the same noticeable agressive traits making it incredibly difficult to tell who is being influenced by SCP-XXXX. ██ personnel were able to avoid detection up until accessing SCP-XXXX. A distinct feature of personnel closest to SCP-XXXX (subjects compelled to pick up SCP-XXXX) is a milky white iris. Personnel with the white iris relentlessly attempt to escape their restraints, including gnawing off their own limbs and fingers in order to reach SCP-XXXX.
'Possessed' subjects upon contact with SCP-XXXX will attempt to fire SCP-XXXX at the closest person in their vicinity. Upon firing SCP-XXXX, a grey smoke trail will leave the barrel and pierce the body of the target. The target will then take on the 'possessed' nature of the original subject, whilst the original subject will then suffer a heart attack almost always resulting in death. SCP-XXXX will then vanish completely and reappear in the dominant hand of the aforementioned target. This process will continue until the subject possessing SCP-XXXX is terminated, at which point the closest person to SCP-XXXX will begin the compulsion traits again. The smoke trail the shot produces is able to bypass bullet proof glass, whilst retaining the same transfer effect. Although SCP-XXXX appears to have a 6 shot cylinder, it can shoot up to 9 14 15 shots without being reloaded.
Addendum XXXX-1: Incident XXXX-A:
After a complete evacuation of Site-██, Dr. K██████ (unfamiliar with the effects of SCP-XXXX) was shown to have milky white irises, 14 km away from SCP-XXXX. Dr. K██████ was then restrained and a D-Class personnel wearing a full body restraint was moved closer to SCP-XXXX, transfering the 'possessed' traits.

Dr. H███: Yes. Were you aware of your actions?
Dr K██████: I don't remember anything.
Dr. H███: What about before the incident, when can you remember?
Dr K██████: We were evacuating… I saw a man, a security guard. He had white eyes.
Dr. H███: …And?
Dr K██████: He was just standing still while everyone was evacuating. I walked up to him to see what he was doing.
Dr. H███: (4 second silence) Is that all you can remember?
Dr K██████: Yeah that's all. Can I go now?

Addendum XXXX-2: Incident XXXX-B
At 01:33 on ██/██/20██ a D-Class personnel positioned in the smaller room closest to SCP-XXXX hung himself (presumably under the influence of SCP-XXXX) on his wall bound restraints, transferring the closest human to a security guard stationed outside. The guard then attempted to access the chamber using the retinal scan, not before the other security guard intervened, resulting in the influenced guard ████████ removing ████████ matter from the other guard.
The guard then entered the room using the head and ████ of the other guard in order to bypass the retinal scan. The guard picked up SCP-XXXX and shot through the steel reinforced wall (without any visual of the target), transferring to a member of a tactical response team on their way to the incident outside. The rest of the team (briefed on the effects of SCP-XXXX), quickly terminated the influenced member and then detained the closest member to SCP-XXXX.
