Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3597 is to be kept in a small containment chamber in the Light Containment Zone of Site-██. D-Class subjects are to be used in testing with SCP-3597 strictly. They are to do only what has been instructed. The containment cell is to be cleaned once every two days, with SCP-3597 being left untouched within its small case on the pedestal. Level 3 clearance is required to interact with SCP-3597.
Description: SCP-3597 is a seemingly normal pair of small, slim, black headphones. The company that has made SCP-3597 has yet to be discovered, hence there is no logo or retail marks indicating its origin. When SCP-3597 is placed on a user's ears, all attention from the user is revoked and focused on the sounds being emitted from SCP-3597. Subjects have reported strange sounds such as dreadful winds, faint air raid sirens, and the slight sound of crackling fire. Reports vary between where the user is located. SCP-3597 was worn by subject D-████ approximately 75 miles away from Site-██. D-████ reported several sounds of nature, most prominently leaves from trees fluttering due to circulating air. It is asumed that SCP-3597 emits sounds from the distant future related to the current location the user is in. Further testing with Class-D personnel has been halted due to wearing down of the cord of the headset.
