Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-4260, a 3 metre electrical fence included with barbed wire on the bottom is to surround the property containing SCP-4260. Cameras and other forms of CCTV are to be used for security purposes, and will record activity outside the fence incase of urban explorers wish to get in. MTF Theta-1 is to be stationed in the vicinity of the fence containing SCP-4260, any inhuman entities exiting SCP-4260 is to be terminated immediately. Any civilians trying to enter SCP-4260 or climb over the fence will be warned and fined a total of KD 20.

Description:
SCP-4970 is an abandoned hospital (named Al-Amiri Hospital) built by the Kuwaiti Government in the -[DATA REDACTED]-, the hospital was closed down in the 1970s and was replaced with a brand new Amiri Hospital. SCP-4970 was formerly a US missionary hospital. Upon entering SCP-4970 through the main entrance and closing the doors, footage shows a completely normal hospital, but abandoned. However, subjects reported that the farther you go into the hospital, it seems as if it never ends, or as if the hospital is much bigger in the inside than the outside, thus this interior has been named SCP-4970-1.

SCP-4970-1 is a large space containing all the rooms in a hospital, but extending far out infinitely. One test included two D-Class to explore and walk in one direction only through a hallway while having large stocks of water, food and a camera to record the test, the two D-Class showed video evidence of Tehran through a window, but no one was able to see the two subjects or the building. Once inside SCP-4970-1, everyone inside will be unable to exit through the same front door, as the rooms have changed. Thus the only way out is to find the other main entrances.

Although unknown why, long term exposure inside SCP-4970 can cause mass paranoia and anxiety, personnel and test subjects who stayed inside the hospital reported feeling as if something was there with them and that they saw many hallucinations, one case showed a D-Class killing himself and trying to stab a guard, in which he thought was a ‘jinn’ all persons who have reported these effects must undergo therapy immediately. This phenomenon or entity has been given the classification SCP-4970-2, a ghostly figure resembling a -[DATA EXPUNGED]- but having long and deformed fingers capable of piercing human skin in a slight touch and having a pointy and jagged beak. It is unknown as to why SCP-4970-2 looks this way. SCP-4970-2 can only be seen through cameras, but if mad enough, a human can see it through the naked eye.

SCP-4970-2 can only be observed by the naked eye when the individual goes mad, which is one of SCP-4970’s strongest effects. The ambient noises and the strange paranoia and anxiety obtained from long term exposure in the hospital are stages to make the subject go insane, in which they will finally be able to see SCP-4970-2.

SCP-4970-1 is suggested to have only one exit, the main entrance. However, the entrance changes when you enter SCP-4970-1.

Incident 4970-1: At 12:30 on 03/05/2005 a D-Class subject was seen running through the main entrance with several wounds, following up was SCP-4970-2. The entity was fired at by MTF Theta-1 and was quickly neutralised. It’s body was sent to the nearest Foundation site for inspection. A story was made up confirming the gun shots to be from a wedding in order to hide what happened.

Test 4970-1:
The subjects are D-22167 and D-25812, both male, and are very fit and physical. Both subjects are ordered to enter SCP-4970 with large freighter-packs filled with water, food, batteries, extra flashlights and cameras and first aid kits. The subjects are to head to the very-left hallway with windows and will walk in a straight line whilst recording their journey.

Upon reaching the hallway, the camera flickers and turns on, showing a never-ending hallway with patient rooms on the right and graffiti covering the walls, everything is dark and gloomy, with strange ambient sounds being heard from the camera, in which the subjects claim they hear too. They begin walking into the infinite hallway of SCP-4970-1, with more weird graffiti the farther the subjects went in, they include, “THERE IS NO ESCAPE” and “DEATH AWAITS US”, written in Arabic.

(32 hours after the test began) Camera footage show the Arabian Gulf through the windows, though the subjects are still inside the hospital. Both subjects claim feeling very paranoid and are seeing hallucinations, there have ben several times where one or both of them stopped to say they’ve seen something, D-22167 is seen greatly itching his right arm, thus bleeding.

(132 hours after the test began) Camera footage shows a large city in a desert, presumably Isfahan in Iran, the subjects were then ordered to look outside the window, in which they see the hallway going through a building of some sort, but the hospital is not really there. Subjects resume walking through the hallway.

(250 hours after the test began) Subjects report being low on food and water, including cameras. Footage however shows the city of Tehran, bustling and in the heart of the city. The conductor of the test claims seeing something strange through the camera at Tehran, who then orders the subjects to zoom in on the area, which seems to be a group of ORIA soldiers guarding a zone. After which, the subjects immediately turn around after hearing a screeching sound, footage shows a deformed -[DATA EXPUNGED]- chasing the subjects, the camera flickers on and off, D-22167 is then seen being stabbed by what is described as “long and thin fingers like claws” then having his guts gushed outside of his mouth. D-25812 is then seen running as fast as they can and panicking while the anomaly is chasing the subject.

D-25812 then ignores instructions and runs into a different room in the right, which seems to be a waiting room – however the camera flickering on and off repeatedly makes it hard to interpret what the room is. However, the footage then shows a pair of entrance doors, in which the subject smashes through. The subject then escaped the hospital, and was seen running out of the entrance all the way back in Kuwait. The anomaly however, chased the subject outside, which led to MTF Theta-1 firing repeatedly at the figure, which is then seen disintegrating into piles of black dust and guts, most likely from D-22167. This has led to Incident 4970-1

D-25812 was then immediately confronted by a guard, but he resisted and called the guard a ‘jinn’ and brought out a knife and stabbed him. Other guards stationed at the site then proceeded to shoot and kill the test subject as he went completely mad.

All testing on SCP-4970 is prohibited unless the conductor gains approval from two O5 Council Members and the Overseer of the Scientific Department.
