Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5431 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell, modified so that there is one extra wall on the outside of the cell, with five yards of open space separating the inner and outer walls. SCP-5431 is to be given three dairy-free meals per day. These meals are to be provided at 6:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 8:00 pm respectively.
Description: SCP-5431 is a 27-year old male, 1.47 m tall, weighing 42 kg, and is of middle eastern descent. SCP-5431's anomalous property presents itself only under at least one of the following conditions:
1. An entity (regardless of age, gender, race or species) that SCP-5431 deems dangerous is within a 6-yard radius of SCP-5431.
2. A highly dangerous event occurs within a 7-yard radius of SCP-5431.
3. Any person(s) of which SCP-5431 deems to be its friend is in immediate danger, regardless of location in relation to SCP-5431.
If any of these criteria are met, SCP-5431 will become panicked, often scratching at walls, pacing in circles, and/or hyperventilating. This behavior will continue until the perceived threat has been neutralized or has been taken out of range. Any and all persons within five yards of SCP-5431 when it is in this state will instantly enter a permanent state of considerable emotional distress. Individuals affected by SCP-5431 in this way are to be referred to as SCP-5431-1. This state of endless fear seems to apply itself to non-anomalous humans exclusively.
Addendum 5431-A: SCP-5431 has displayed an inept ability to accurately describe highly dangerous events that have previously occurred in the vicinity of SCP-5431. Further confirmation of this trait is pending.
