Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XX is contained within a standard anomalous 10 digit safe in the Safe containment wing of Site █. Access to SCP-XX is restricted to personnel with Level 4 security clearance. Testing of SCP-XX is restricted to D Class personnel with a measured IQ of less than 70. D Class personnel exposed to SCP-XX are to be quarantined for 36 hours following exposure to SCP-XX's anomalous effects. Following the discovery of multiple pages describing other SCPs within the Foundations custody, SCP-XX has been upgraded to Euclid containment status.
Description:
SCP-XX is a leather bound book of indeterminate length, estimated to be approximately 1800 pages. The cover of SCP-XX is embroidered with the words, "Knowledge of Everything that can be". When opened, SCP-XX resembles a standard, non anomalous encyclopedia. Subjects in the book range from a variety of non anomalous entries, to a complete autobiography of The Scarlet King.. D Class personnel exposed to SCP-XX are to record the page number, entry title, and as much of the entry as possible before closing the book, as upon closing the book SCP-XX appears to rearrange its contents or change them entirely. All attempts to photograph, video record, or otherwise preserve a page of SCP-XX have failed. Testing has yet to produce evidence that SCP-XX is sentient, as it appears that the page displayed is random. See testing log for more information.
