SCP-5083

Name: SCP-5083 (Twist)

Class: Keter

Site: SCP-5083 has been transfered through many sites and the SCP Foundation does not know whether it will again, however it is currently kep in Site-22

Description: SCP-5083 is a mass of meat and muscle that appear to not be human (or any animal known to man). It has 7 eyes in total and moves by sliding itself across any surface. This SCP is capable of moving across or climbing up/down any surface without hurting itself or causing any harm to the surface it moves on. It doesn’t seem to know any language but it gurgles in a deep voice from time to time. It is able to morph into anything that is alive or has once been alive. It has been noticed that anything in the way of SCP-5083’s path or target will be instantly killed by the anomaly without any hesitation.

Containment Breeches: Containment breeches are not uncommon since SCP-5083 can morph into SCP Guard Personnel and move through the facility without notice. Upon noticing any unusual behavior from any guard personnel, the witness is to report it to everyone nearby; even D-Class members are allowed to do this. Upon noticing SCP-5083’s containment cell empty, all entrances, exits and in-facility doors are to be locked down immediately. SCP-5083 cannot talk even if in a human morph so that is one of the ways that personnel can find the SCP. Re-containment is to be carried out across several steps as to not cause harm to the facility, the personnel carrying it out, or the SCP itself. It has been strictly instructed that all personnel in charge of carrying out this re-containment are to follow the exact rules and steps provided by an old tape that was created in the facility 22 years ago upon the first successful re-containment of SCP-5083.

The tape log will be written (word-by-word) below by a staff member:

In order to successfully re-contain SCP-5083 you are to follow the steps provided within this tape. Any step purposely followed incorrectly upon re-containment will result in instantly moving the person that has made this occur to D-Class. Any step accidentally followed incorrectly will be followed by two months of not attending presence at any SCP site.

Steps to be followed by order will be now given:

You shall find the re-containment cage that has been provided to any personnel member that has been assigned to the re-containment of SCP-5083 and lure the SCP into it using out-of-date cheese (preferably cheddar) since that is what the SCP will follow no matter where in the facility (or other closed space) it is and where in the same facility (or same closed space) the cheese is placed. At this time, all personnel shall step at least 1 to 2 yards (3 to 6 feet) back and allow up to three D-Class members to step beside or behind the cage. The SCP will follow the cheese’s smell and see the D-Classes, it will then charge at them and not see the cage; the cage is made out of francium which is the rarest metal in the earth and also the only thing the SCP cannot see. It will go straight into the cage since it cannot see it to avoid it and will bang its head on the cage’s back wall leaving it paralyzed for a few seconds. In that time the D-Class member have to close the gate and lock it.

D-Class members have to be used in case of injury to one. The key is to be passed back to the personnel after the cage is locked; if does not happen, the D-Class member/members that refuses/refuse to give back the key are to instantly be shot or killed by knife.
