Object class: Euclid
Containment procedures: The object is bonded to a specific person. The object (SCP-XXXX_A) must not leave a 3-mile proximity of the bonded human (SCP-XXXX-B) to prevent immediate danger. Due to the status of SCP-XXXX-B, the human is not put into containment but has free movement of themself and the object around the facility and nearby town. The human understands all risks and responsibilities involved, but has permission from the council for the free movement of SCP-XXXX-A at all times.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a 90cm tall staff of rosewood. It has a diameter of 5cm and is completely straight with no knots, except for a small, round knob at the top and two small ornaments sticking out 10cm under the end of the knob. It has the same mass as a normal wooden wooden stick of the same size and weight.
SCP-XXXX-B is a 27-year old foundation researcher, Dr. Rue. She is ginger with green eyes, and stand at 1m 72 tall. SCP-XXXX-A has had no effect on the appearance, brain, bone or muscle structure of SCP-XXXX-B
Abilities: SCP-XXXX-A has the ability to both hurt and heal. The object can heal any injury that had been inflicted either by the object or within the last 36 hours, or any illness that had been contracted within the past 2 weeks. It also means that SCP-XXXX-B is made immortal, as the staff’s residual energy causes extreme healing factors that can heal even an instantly fatal injury before death, and prevents ageing of the human.
On the flip-side, the object can harm a person to the point of death in five different, interchangeable and unique ways, listed below. Each of these ways to harm can only be stopped and reversed by SCP-XXXX, and cannot be noticed until the procedure starts. The abilities of SCP-XXXX-A can be used on a specific person if the person is in the vision of SCP-XXXX-B, or it can effect all people within a 20-metre range. The object also is able to physically injure a person as a hand-held weapon.

| Combustion | Causes the person to collapse in on themselves due to removal of vital organs, leaving a vaccum inside the body that the skin and muscle is pulled into. It leaves the person as a small sphere of red flesh with a diameter of between 2 and 7 inches. It takes exactly 10 minutes. |
| Shedding | causes the person’s skin to peel off in large chunks, causing the person to bleed. Takes approximately 30 minutes before it takes effect on the person, and can take up to 2 days before it ends. |
| Insanity | causes a person to go insane for a period of approximately 40-60 minutes before causing a heart attack. |
| Musa Radiation | If SCP-XXXX-B leaves the 3-mile proximity of SCP-XXXX-A, the object will begin to emit a radiation (that has been named Mosa radiation) that causes all living people, animals and SCP’s within a 50-metre proximity to begin coughing to the point where they cough up blood (or other fluid if they have no blood) before resulting in death exactly 3 hours later if SCP-XXXX-B does not return to the proximity. This can also happen by a conciso decision on SCP-XXXX-B’s behalf, even if she is still in the proximity, and will not affect her. |
Interview transcript with Dr. Rue (SCP-XXXX-B), lead researcher on SCP-XXXX-A.
Interviewer: The date is the 13th of January, 2016 Good afternoon, Miss Rue.
Dr. Rue: Afternoon, sir.
I: You know why you are here?
D.R: Yes.
I: Alright, then. Miss Rue, when did you first come into contact with SCP-XXXX-A?
D.R: It was a Saturday in March 2009.
I: Where was this?
D.R: At my house. It was left on the porch outside, and I didn’t have security cameras so I don’t know who by.
I: And you took it inside?
D.R: Yes. I wanted to investigate it to see if I could find where it came from.
I: What did you feel when you first picked it up?
D.R: A rush of warmth flow up my arm, followed by pins and needles all over my body.
I: I suppose it was than it bonded to you?
D.R: It must have been. Since bringing it to the site to test, no-one else has said they felt that, just that it was a cold wooden stick.
I: Since?
D.R: Well, no-one has touched it before.
I: How long ago did you first bring it to the facility?
D.R: █ years ago.
I: And how long had you been experimenting with it beforehand?
D.R: Since the August of 2011.
I: And you didn’t think to report it?
D.R: Well, I hadn’t been in contact with the foundation in some time as I had been on break, and only returned to work about a year ago. I didn’t have the chance to.
I: how does it feel when you leave the 10 mile proximity?
D.R: Ticklish.
I: Ok. That is all the questions we need to ask. Thank you for your time.

Dr. Rue: Ok. Set up, staff on table, recorder… wait I’m recording? Ok - er - this is the audio recording of the perimeter test for the staff. Previous - um - research has shown that outside of a certain area, the object emits a Radiation? Yeah, Radiation. It causes coughing fits for as long as I remain outside of the area. This test is to test what distance it is.

Well, reaching the two mile mark. No effects yet. I have a transmitter set up in order to hear when it starts.
