SCP - 5000+ idea:

• Code name: “echo”
• no physical form
• It possesses the body of any living thing capable of audible speech
• once in a vessel, it is completely paralysed from the neck down, appears to stop respiration, and copies any spoken words shortly after someone else says them [at first]
• after a short time period he SCP will begin to copy speech exactly as they’re spoken by the other speaker
• soon after this “echo” will begin to speak first, developing bodily movements such as walking
• at this point the original speaker takes on the paralysis seen by the SCP in the early stages, now speaking after the SCP
• the SCP will now appear to have moved to the original speaker as a new vessel, this is not the case. The SCP has in fact never left the original host, and uses the victim to trick others into freeing the SCP
• once free, the SCP will appear to secrete darkness from the host, which will fill the room. Once the darkness fades all living organisms will become deceased, including the original vessel of the SCP, whose internal organs will be crushed on a cellular level and all bodily fluids replaced with some form of mercury
