Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 50mx50mx50m cell with no means to see in or out of the cell other than video surveillance. The subject is to be remotely monitored 24 hours every day by four guards taking 6 hour shifts each. SCP-XXXX is to be restrained by the neck, tail, and all four limbs by leather straps rooted to the floor of the cell. Guards are to report any suspicious activity by SCP-XXXX such as sporadic or violent movements, attempts to damage its restraints, and any other behavior that the
guard deems out of the ordinary.
In the event of a containment breach, all non-essential staff are to be evacuated from the site that SCP-XXXX is being contained at, and it is to be top priority for re-containment. This is due to the possibility of a chain reaction if SCP-XXXX ever manages to reach a densely populated civilian area.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 2.63m long muscular feline like beast weighing approximately 240.9kgs. It has an abnormally large jaw, razor like claws, a barbed tail, and spikes running down its back. It does not appear to possess any form of senses or organs, yet seems to have an innate 360 degree sense of emotion.
The entire surface of SCP-XXXX including teeth, spikes, and the inside of the mouth appear to be composed of oil. SCP-XXXX is extremely solid and, as of the most recent revision of this document, is believed to be indestructible.
Like oil, SCP-XXXX is flammable, and when set alight will remain on fire until the flames are extinguished by site personnel. No damage is done to SCP-XXXX during the time it is on fire.
SCP-XXXX is harmless under most circumstances, however when a subject, human or otherwise, exhibits fear within roughly 50m of SCP-XXXX, it will the subject at speeds up to 148kph, crashing through any obstacles in its path, while exhibiting no loss of momentum. Upon reaching the subject, SCP-XXXX will maul it until fear is no longer present in the subject’s mind, wether they be dead or alive.
Note: Subject appears to be unable to swim, and strongly dislikes water (see Experiment Log XXXX-2)
Addendum XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX does not appear to care when it is constrained, and will not make any attempts to escape. It also does not seem to alter its behavioral pattern when constrained. For example, SCP-XXXX will still attempt to walk and lie down even though it is unable to and makes no progress.
Experiment Log XXXX-1
Participants: 1 D-Class personnel (D-1), and 1 Foundation Agent (A-1)
Location: Site-█
Experiment Overview: SCP-XXXX is held in temporary containment outside a standard light containment cell. Inside the light containment cell there is a restrained D-Class Personnel and a Foundation Agent equipped with a standard issue sidearm. A-1 is instructed to point the gun at D-1’s head, which he does. D-1 then begins to struggle and desperately plead for his life. At this point, SCP-XXXX is observed to perk up and almost immediately breach the eastern wall of its temporary containment cell as well as the western wall of the light containment cell. It instantly begins to tear apart D-1 until he is presumed expired. Once finished with D-1, it then proceeds to attack and kill A-1, who is at this point attempting to flee through the hole left by SCP-XXXX. site security is unsuccessful in containing SCP-XXXX following the breach, so MTF Epsilon-6 is called in and successfully contains it without any further incident.
Experiment Log XXXX-2
Participants: 1 D-Class Personnel (D-1).
Location: Lake █████, ██ kilometers east of Site-█
Experiment Overview: D-1 is stationed aboard a raft in in the middle of Lake █████. She is instructed to look at a photograph that is face up in front of her. She complies and looks a photo of SCP-XXXX. She is told the following over radio intercom: “You are looking at a picture of a rather peculiar SCP. It has been released from its containment and is currently en route to your location”. D-1 then proceeds to express multiple signs of emotional distress. SCP-XXXX, which was up to this point contained on the lake’s shore, breaches it’s temporary containment and charges into the lake. The tracking device that was strapped to SCP-XXXX shows its location to be on the bottom of the lake, 20 meters down. Once directly under the raft, SCP-XXXX begins leaping upwards toward the surface of the lake. It averages a 17 meter jump height before beginning to sink back to the bottom of the lake. After roughly an hour and a half of continuous jumping by SCP-XXXX, D-1 is sedated, and SCP-XXXX immediately stops leaping and sprints back to the shoreline where it is contained without incident.
