Special Containment Procedures: Due to its classification of "Safe" SCP-XXXX currently is not contained by the Foundation. However, a minimum of two Foundation personnel is to be assigned to observe SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a hiking trail located in [REDACTED], USA. SCP XXXX is known locally as "The Long and Winding Road", a reference to a song written by The Beatles. No individual who has attempted to walk the trail has made it farther than one mile or 1.6 kilometers. Individuals who have reached the one-mile mark have stopped for a variety of reasons, none of which are anomalous or even overtly harmful.
The trail itself is not notable. It has been described as especially "peaceful" and "pretty" by both locals and Foundation Personnel. The trail's length is indeterminate due to never being walked or mapped. Satellite imaging was attempted. Due to the dense canopy above the trail, satellite imaging was not possible.
Attempts to locate the end of the trail have been unsuccessful.
SCP-XXXX was brought to Foundation attention by Researcher Blake, who grew up in the town housing SCP-XXXX. in 2017, Researcher Blake requested a small group of D-class personnel and an assistant to conduct various experiments involving the exploration of SCP-XXXX.
