SCP-3045: The sketch
Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3045 is to be kept in a 1x1x1m container at all times. All personnel must keep a safe distance of about 2.5 meters and must avoid prolonged eye contact unless instructed to do so. Making any kind of physical contact with SCP-3045 is prohibited at all times and will result in punishment according do procedure ████ unless instructed to do so

Description:

- SCP-3045 appears to be a piece of paper, showing various signs of degradation, including stains, wrinkles, and cuts of small sizes. At first glance, on the paper itself, there appears to be drawn a basic human figure, showing no special traits at all, similar to a sketch used by artists.
- However, when prolonged eye contact is made subjects have reported the sketch's shapeshifting from what appeared to be a basic human figure with no special traits to a fully drawn human body or hybrid human being illustrating one's idea of a perfect human, to which we will refer as SCP-3045-1.
- Upon the process of illustrating SCP-3045-1, any kind of prolonged eye contact or any kind of physical interaction will lead the subjects to a pocket dimension, referred to as SCP-3045-2 where reports have led to a conclusion of this dimension is a place where random things appear and happen, similar to one's dream. Radio transmission is possible, however, there appears to be no known and secure way to get the trapped victim outside.
- Once the subject has entered SCP-3045-2, the figure that was seen by him (referred to as SCP-3045-3) will begin to come out of the paper and run around the containment room screaming frantically "Come back here". If anyone comes within SCP-3045-3's line of sight, it will lock onto the target and begin running towards him at speeds ranging from 15 km/h to ███ km/h, depending on the target's distance and SCP-3045-3's current state. No known object or material can stop SCP-3045-3's process at this point and the target is to be considered lost.¹

Subject: You mean that paper over there? Oh wow, it's in such bad shape..
Dr. ████: Yes, and please refer to "that paper" as SCP-3045.
Subject: Alright so I just have to sit and stare at it?
Dr. ████: Mainly yes, however, we will ask you questions as time passes. For instance, what do you see on SCP-3045 at the moment?
Subject: It seems like one of those complicated sketches of a human. He appears to be a male and has no special traits.
Dr. ████: Would you mind trying to recreate the drawing?
Subject: I will try my best but I'm not talented at drawing
( Subject gets handed a pencil and a paper )
Subject, after approximately 7 minutes of drawing: There it is
Dr. ████: Thank you

Dr. ████: Now tell me, do you see any changes in the drawing's shape?
Subject: Holy molly, it looks like [Data redacted]. I've never seen any drawing as good as this. It's better than a photo. How does it work?
Dr. ████: We can't answer that. Now, you will be handed a radio communication system. After you receive it, please touch SCP-3045.
Subject: Why give me the radio when I will just touch it? Will something happen?
Guard: *I* will make something happen if you don't do as the doctor says
(Subject gets handed the radio communication system)
Subject: I can't believe it. The drawing looks so good, it might actually come off of the paper and [Data redacted.
Dr. ████: * takes some notes on the subject's observation * Alright you may touch SCP-3045 when ready.
(Subject gets instantly transferred to SCP-3045-2 upon contact, and the drawing begins to come loose of the paper.)
Subject: I can't believe it. It looks like a world full of dreams with all these random things taking place.
Dr. ████: Please describe the surroundings.
Subject: They never remain the same, but it resembles mostly a [Data Redacted] shifting its appearance. The buildings go from █ floors to ██ floors, from █████ to █████ instantly. Just what is this place?
Guard: Dr. ████, what is that thing coming out of the paper?
Dr. ████: Stay calm, and quickly get out of its line of sight.
(SCP 3045-3 locks onto the guard and begins running towards him)
Guard: [Data redacted]. HELP ME. IT'S GOING FOR MY [Data redacted]
Dr. ████: EVERYONE GET OUT OF HERE. EXPERIMENT CANCELLED.
