SCP-5772 in outside testing.
SCP-5772 is contained in an ex-military base in southern [DATA EXPUNGED], in hangar 32. The whole structure was moved into the hangar with the help of SCP-████ and is guarded at all times by soldiers, scientists, diplomats and [DATA REDACTED] on both sides of the arc.
For moving the structure to other locations, the use of SCP-████ is advised.
SCP-5772-B must be destroyed if not being used to the organization, taking special care in having only disposable personal on the other side.
Every test must be authorized by Dr. ████████. The test will be supervised personally by him and [DATA REDACTED].
Description:
SCP-5772 is a 4.82x2.82x3.22 meters stone arc found in the underground vault of [DATA EXPUNGED] in [DATA EXPUNGED], England. He does not know where did this structure came from, or how it was moved there, but claimed it was already there when he bought the mansion. The arc presents a type of construction that consolidates a mix of patterns found in Egyptian, ████████, and later Mayan structures. It also presents geoglyphs of unknown origin that after being studied, Dr. █████████ suggested that were carved centuries after the arc being made.
At first, it was thought to be made of granite blocks, but after the arc was examined with X-Rays Dr ████████ discovered that [DATA REDACTED]. It has a rectangular base, elevated 112 cm from the ground, with a small staircase leading to it; it seems to be made from the same materials as the arc.
Every time a subject faces the ark in a distance of at least 7 meters and asks politely to go to a certain place the arc emits a dark purple glow and starts emanating mercury from the rock itself. After exactly 2:53 minutes the mercury forms into an extremely thin layer that works as a portal into the said place. Another exact SCP-5772 is formed into the said place (SCP-5772-B); this door does not disappear after the closure of SCP-5772 "portal", and can be used in the same way as "the original" from the other side.
SCP-5772 portal will work despite the place asked for is in this world, galaxy, universe, of a real precedence or imaginary. SCP-5772 portal work will make a unique version, only to be created again by the same user, as close as possible to the version the user who asked has in his mind. SCP-5772 "refuses" only when what is on the other side might harm its integrity, and responds violently.
If the user asks to travel rudely, the portal opens, but in an extremely twisted or evil version of the place asked. This has given the research team proof that SCP-5772 has some kind sentience.
Addendum:
The arc was known already by the SCP-Foundation after SCP-███ was found in the very same basement, given the fact that the basement had a plethora of extremely well preserved ancient historic artifacts it was thoroughly examined, but none of them besides SCP-███ seemed to had SCP potential.
The properties were discovered by accident 3 months after the second incident when Dr. █████████, frustrated and stressed after months of no breakthrough, faced the arc and said: "Please work". The arc immediately activated and opened in an unknown paradisiac island, with a fully prepared and manned five-star hotel that the research team enjoyed for weeks before being discovered by ███████ ██████. The team was terminated.
1st Incident
The discovery of SCP-███

After no response, the creature unsheaths a sword and charged at Christopher, but he managed to escape before he was struck. His gardener was able to shot the being down with a hunting shotgun before it caused any harm. The foundation was immediately contacted.
When the foundation arrived, 42 other beings of the same type or similar (SCP-5772-1-3A, and SCP-5772-1-3B or ████) were rampaging through the mansion and trying to steal anything not glued to the ground. All the inhabitants but a cook managed to escape, and the foundation quickly eliminated most of SCP-5772-1-3A and SCP-5772-1-3B before capturing the rest.

3rd Incident
[DATA EXPUNGED] resulting in complete lockdown, and the incarceration of SCP-5969.

Dr ████ asked to travel to 2772 BC Egypt "Right Now", the portal opened into a mythical version of the year, from where SCP-████ and ████ came out, destroying most of the base before being captured. The SCP-5772-B-113 was destroyed.

The 3rd of march o the year ████ At 4:38 AM a large group of people dressed in Hungarian WW2 military uniform came out of SCP-5772 stormed the hangar while shooting at the research team. After 3 hours of intense battle, the group was repelled.

[DATA REDACTED] for four years, after which a peace deal was signed with SCP-5772-71-1A. Both sides are now working in conjoint research of SCP-5772 and each other worlds, resulting in [DATA EXPUNGED]
