Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a cage in a soundproof cell with 4 ultraviolet lights at all times. Object must be monitored by 2 Security Officers at all times in a different room, looking at the camera feed in one of the four cameras positioned throughout the container. Object is to be covered with fluorescent paint at all times and must not be exposed to water. When personnel must enter the container, they must wear soundproof earmuffs at all times and relock the door behind them. Item SCP-XXXX is to be fed dead worms through the sides of the cage daily.
Description: Origin is from the surroundings of the small village of Boldyrevo located in the Tyumen Oblast region of Russia. It is biologically and physically equivalent to a Siberian wood frog but has the capability to change skin color, similar to a chameleon. Item is animate and considered sapient showing the intellectual capability of an average adult male. SCP-XXXX attacks by emitting a high pitched sound capable of deafening with no ear protection. SCP-XXXX naturally hostile but will be passive if not under direct observation and not in close proximity to any entity. It will emit its high pitched sound when in close proximity to any entity.
Object is reported to make replicas of itself when in need of support, but these replicas do not have the capability to emit the high pitched sound. The replicas are physically duplicate to the original and will appear and disappear upon the command of SCP-XXXX. These instances are designated SCP-XXXX-A1. SCP-XXXX-A1 can disappear from anywhere but can only appear in approximately a 10-foot radius around SCP-XXXX.
Upon a containment breach attempt of either SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-A1 instances, it is to be reported to a Site Director who will commence action accordingly.
