Object Class: Keter

Containment Procedures: Subject requests a meticulously model of Central Rome to live in. Subject explodes into extreme anger when attempted to be removed. Actors are required to conversate with Subject in Classical Latin, holding everyday conversations. Any researchers not in Roman character are killed in a blind rage.

Description:
Only one sketch (right) has been made by a surviving witness of the man. In all other accounts, the subject's face has been concealed by himself. The witness states that he wore a tattered white robe with a red cape, and leather straps held together his worn toga. Subject was found wandering Syracusa, Sicily, Italy. Note that Sicily is not in mainland Italy, where Rome is located. The theory commonly held among researchers is that Subject is a Roman soldier stranded on the island of Sicily after wandering the world. Subject has a genetic mutation preventing aging, and by sheer chance, has not been killed by any other causes. Researchers date his birth before the death of Christ.

Subject is known to wear his signature mask (right) except when completely relaxed and comfortable. The mask is an expressionless face made of a bronze-like material. Comparison between the mask and the witness account have led some researchers to believe that the mask was formerly part of a statue of Subject when he was younger.

Many people have reported seeing the tattered man worldwide, in a desperate search for the city of Rome:

238 AD: In Cologne, modern Germany
451 AD: In Lyon, modern France
502 AD: In Paris, modern France
575 AD: In Vienna, modern Austria
576-1020 AD: Unaccounted for. Likely stayed in Vienna for an extended amount of time.
1020 AD: In Kiev, modern Ukraine.
1198 AD: In Constantinople, modern Turkey
1198-1880 AD: Numerous locations along the North African Coast.
1880 AD: Barcelona, Spain.
1944 AD: First Syracusan sighting.

Forensic Analysis: Upon capture in Syracusa, Subject agreed to a medical analysis as long as his face remained concealed. The researchers requested this wish. What they found were organs in the condition of a 40-year-old's. However, they showed signs of wear that indicated over 2000 years of use. Samples of the subject were taken as well and they showed the presence of millenia-old pathogens.

The Baum Theory: The researchers studying Subject heavily debate his origin. The second most common theory is that Subject is actually archaeologist Vincenzo Baum. He bears a strong resemblance to Subject and is 43 years old. He was known for his acute obsession of Central European culture. He has flown under the radar as of ██/██/19██. He is commonly accepted to be dead and buried in ██████, Poland.

Nickname:
As of ██/██/2019, Subject is referred to as Vagus.
