Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5000 is to be kept in a 5m x 5m x 3m cube constructed from heavy heat-resistant alloy, only personnel of level 3+ clearance are allowed to perform tests on SCP-5000. The entrance to SCP-5000's containment chamber is to be guarded by guards of level 3+ clearance and unauthorized testing of SCP-5000 will result in demotion/detainment.
Description: SCP-5000 appears to be a Frigidaire brand oven, composition tests have shown no discernible qualities from a normal oven, however the grills inside the oven appear to be comprised of an unknown metal which has no melting point and can survive any temperature. SCP-5000 is able to be set to any temperature, far exceeding the maximum temperature of a Frigidaire brand oven, however this is the least important of it's anomalous properties. SCP-5000 is able to grow a pair of humanoid legs when attacked in any way, including but not limited to: scratching, kicking, punching and even [REDACTED]. When SCP-5000 grows these legs, it attempts to kill the person who damaged/attacked it, methods of killing have been noted as the following: kicking/stomping, blasting with heat typically measured with temperatures of 2 degrees kelvin and as well as [DATA EXPUNGED]. Once the person has been killed/incapacitated, SCP-5000 will return to where it originally sat and will remain innate again. However when met with positive treatment, such as gentle patting, caressing, giving a compliment or even normal use will also cause the "leg-reaction", but in positive cases, SCP-5000 will exhibit positive and friendly treatment to whoever was nice to it for close to 5 hours, before returning to a neutral state, similar to the negative reaction.
Addendum: SCP-5000 was originally discovered in the home of the █████ family in ███████ Arizona after reports of blood on the windows of the home, as well as screaming coming from the house, when SCP-5000 was recovered it had killed 2 of the family members and crippled 1 (Who has been debriefed, see Interview Log #5000-1) the screaming in question had been coming from the family member who had his left leg broken and had been screaming for help. One child by the name of █████████, age 12 managed to escape and is still trying to be tracked down for administration of amnestics.

Dr. ██████: So, how did SCP-5000 get triggered?
Christopher: Well my wife yelled at it because it didn't "work".
Dr. ██████: Hm, how exactly did it attack?
Christopher: Well it first kicked her, she ran away trying to get to the front door and it stomped her
skull open, killing ██████ in the process, my eldest son, █████████ managed to get out, I don't
know where he went, he is probably still out there.
Dr. ██████: How did you break your leg?
Christopher: I also tried to make it to the door, but as it was walking back I got hit and broke my
leg on the window sill.
Dr. ██████: Exactly how long do you think you were stuck in the house?
Christopher: I would say 3 days, 3 freakin' days.
Dr. ██████: Alright, I think we are done here, thanks for your time.
<End Log, 9:40 AM>Closing Statement: Christopher █████ managed to survive 3 days with a broken leg and the second child has managed to escape and the wife and first child were killed by SCP-5000, Christopher > █████ was given class-A amnestics and released.
