Description: SCP-XXXX is an eharo mask akin to those used by the Elema people of Papua New Guinea. When wore by a human, SCP-XXXX causes the wearer to begin levitating within a time period of 48 to 72 hours after removing it. Levitation causes the wearer to ascend directly upwards, accelerating to speeds as high as 4000 km/h. Wearers of SCP-XXXX also become capable of phasing through solid matter during ascension.
Addendum XXXX-2: While electronic devices and means of communication are usually destroyed upon the breaking of the sound barrier when locomotion commences in SCP-XXXX wearers, the body camera and microphone of D-382973 spontaneously turned back on after 1 day, 12 hours, and 35 minutes after the commencement of initial testing.
