Item #: SCP-4218
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedure: While in containment, subject is to be contained in a room padded with 5 inches of plastic or other soft, non-conductive material. The exterior must be composed of two inches of concrete. The rooms interior is to be kept at no more than 30°Fahrenheit. Interior cooling systems must be run on separate power from the rest of the facility. Subject is allowed one (1) mattress and writing material.
Entry into the containment cell is prohibited unless granted permission by a Class 4 personnel. Personnel entering the containment chamber must wear a hazmat suit. Physical contact and direct eye-contact is to be avoided.
During breaches, the GPS system on SCP-4218 is to be activated. If subject is located, a team of five individuals are to be dispatched for re-capture. If GPS has been deactivated, or is showing an error, the containment room is to be monitored until SCP-4218 returns.
Description: SCP-4218 is a African-American male with brown eyes, short black hair, and below average height. It's arms are actually metallic prosthetics, though appearing to be normal human arms. It is highly intelligent, and can speak fluent English, Spanish, and Russian. It claims to be a hundred years old despite having the appearance of a 20-year old. It was originally a human, possessing no anomalous properties until 18 years of age. It is unknown how it's properties were acquired.
SCP-4218 was discovered when a series of flashes and lightning strikes were reported by civilians at
████, Virginia. A retrieval unit was sent out and spotted SCP-4218 wandering a local forest in a confused state. It was immediately hostile, rendering all but one of the team unconscious before interrogating the final member. It was then cooperative with personnel and went willingly into containment.
SCP-4218 possess several anomalous properties, the most prominent of usage is the complete control of electricity and anything relating to electrical functions. It can "hijack" the brain by touching a subjects head or establishing eye-contact, allowing it to control a subjects thoughts and actions.
SCP-4218 is genetically immortal, showing no signs of aging unless it chooses to, at which point it can decrease or increase its age rapidly. It is immune to all poisons, viruses, and diseases. It structurally more resilient then any human, capable of surviving large physical trauma, although most weapons will damage it. SCP-4218 can manifest two identical swords of unknown origin. These weapons are heavily resistant to damage, and are incapable of damaging SCP-4218, although ████████. and seem to nullify regenerative abilities. Finally, SCP- 4218 can travel between dimensions. It's believed this is through a wristwatch with the appearance of a toy spy-watch. All attempts to remove the watch have failed, and is somehow hidden during sleep.
SCP-4218 has an aversion to cold temperatures, and this seems to weaken SCP-4218 dramatically, and SCP-4218 will fall into a sort of hibernation state if it's internal temperature falls below 2°Fahrenheit. Despite it's high-temperature resistance, fire still causes pain to SCP-4218, although no physical damage is done.
SCP-4218 is usually very cooperative, willingly going through testing procedures, remaining in it's containment chamber, and going on highly dangerous retrieval missions. SCP-4218 does not respond well to hostile actions, and will act quickly if it percieves itself to be in danger, and most sudden movements will startle it. It usually calms quickly and will make light of the situation, however there have been several instances of guards being injured by SCP-4218. In these cases it shows remorse and will usually preform first aid if necessary.
SCP-4218 has it's own agenda despite it's usual cooperation. It has breached containment numerous times, usually preceded by it requesting permission to leave containment. Occassionally it will accept the denial of the request, but it will often teleport regardless, often being found within the facility, a nearby restaurant, or within the forest it was found it. On rare occassions, it will appear distressed, claiming that it "needs to go now, and will be right back." Following this, the tracking device will be unable to locate SCP-4218 when it teleports. This likely means that it has teleported to a seperate dimension. In 80% of these cases, SCP-4218 has returned with moderate injuries and bruises; major injuries that required medical treatment in 15%; and minor or no injuries in 5%. It's unknown exactly where this dimension is or how SCP-4218 access this dimension. SCP-4218 refuses to talk about the method of transportation, and does not remark on the injuries it has sustained.
