Special Containment Procedures:
All instances of SCP-XXXX are to be kept in a standard clearance 2 containment storeroom with 500 shelving alcoves in the safe containment sector of site 76. Recovered instances of SCP-XXXX are to be logged and tagged with an instance number before containment. Stocktake of SCP-XXXX instances must be completed every second week at 0600 hours. All access to SCP-XXXX is to be authorized by one level 3 personnel and is to be logged upon access and return of any SCP-XXXX instance (see Addendum XXXX-A). All testing is to be performed under the supervision of two level 2 researchers and approved by a level 3 researcher. All new instances of SCP-XXXX are to be stored in an available storage space. if a capacity limit of 500 instances is reached and additional storerooms are not supplied excess instances destruction utilizing an incinerator can begin under authorization of site director.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a black leather collar with red stitching of 1cm x 0.2cm x Xcm with a pop-rivet fastening system and a ring for a leash. Instances of SCP-XXXX (Currently SCP-XXXX-1 to SCP-XXXX-247) are consistently found in various adult stores around the world or have been purchased from an adult store. Instances of SCP-XXXX are packaged in 15cm x 30cm x 17cm white cardboard boxes with an image of SCP-XXXX and the words “Pup’s First Collar” in the native language of the adult store they are located in. SCP-XXXX instances are always priced at $9.99 USD in the equivalent local currency. Instances of SCP-XXXX change in length to accommodate the neck of the next intended user when within 3 meters of the user. SCP-XXXX instances show no other anomalous effects until secured around the user’s neck.

Upon being securely attached to a user SCP-XXXX renders itself unremovable for the duration of the anomalous effects. It is unknown what affects this though some theories suggest that the enjoyment of the user is tied to this time. Within 1-6 seconds upon being secured the user begins to experience two anomalous effects:
1. The user is unable to speak in any human language or walk normally and instead acts like a domesticated canine.
2. The user becomes obedient to requests and orders made and responds to terms such as “good boy” and “bad boy” as a canine would.
SCP-XXXX after a period of 3 – 48 hours unlatches itself and frees the user. After use a recovery period of anywhere between 3-7 minutes must pass before SCP-XXXX can be used again. After use the user of SCP-XXXX experiences an increased interest in the kink known as “pet-play”, and this effect is theoretically permanent.

SCP-XXXX-1 was discovered in a █████████████ chain store in ██████████, Australia after the owner reported a strange and seemingly misplaced box in their store. Agent ███████ retrieved SCP-XXXX-1 once police noticed and reported that the item changed length every now and again. After a period of 4 days the owner reported that a shelf of her store was filled with identical boxes and Agent ███████ collected all instances. After a report of an identical event in ██████, █████, ███ The Foundation began an observation protocol to intercept instances of SCP-XXXX in stores. testing began on the 3rd of December 20██.

Test A – 3/12/20██

Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Procedure: D-1167 was equipped with SCP-XXXX by Researcher █████. Immediately after SCP-XXXX took effect Subject began attempting to lick Researcher █████’s face and resorted to tackling Researcher █████. The test is postponed and D-3324 is kept under observation for the 7 hours that SCP-XXXX took to wear off.
Results: Proof that users of SCP-XXXX believe themselves to be a canine.
Analysis: Testing procedure changed to require two researchers.

Test B – 5/12/20██

Subject: SCP-XXXX-45
Procedure: Researcher ██████ and Researcher Heart give D-5667 the order to secure SCP-XXXX-45 around his neck. Immediately afterward D-5667 drops to sit on his haunches. Researcher Heart Ordered D-5667 to roll over, and D-5667 immediately complies. Over the 3 hours that SCP-XXXX-45 kept its effect the two researchers tested several commands. Three days after the test D-5667 was used in the test an instance of SCP-████ and searched for “pet-play”, showing a great interest in the fetish.
Results: D-5667 displayed heightened obedience and demonstrated increased interest in pet-play
Analysis: SCP-XXXX has been proven to have a lasting effect on users.

Test C – 6/1/20██

Subject: SCP-XXXX-122
Procedure: Researcher Heart and Researcher ████ allow Agent ████, who identifies as Aromatic and Asexual, to use SCP-XXXX-122. After 6 seconds Agent ████ drops to her hands and knees. She seems uninterested in the two researchers, and after 3 hours SCP-XXXX-122 undid itself. Agent ████ reported finding pet-play videos fascinating one week later though it brought her no pleasure.
Results: SCP-XXXX-122 affected Agent ████ in a limited capacity, though the after-effects still manifested
Analysis: SCP-XXXX is not just a sexual item, and personality seems to play a part in the anomalous effects.

Addendum: XXXX-A
After incident SCP-XXXX-12/1/20██ all use of SCP-XXXX instances must be properly authorized and logged to prevent prolonged and non-scientific uses. All included parties have been reprimanded and affected individuals have been administered with Class A amnesiacs.

at 0610 hours during a routine stocktake of SCP-XXXX containment storage SCP-XXXX-11 was found to be missing from containment. Containment breach was declared. Lockdown lifted at 0932 after Researcher Heart was found in a nearby motel with 17 females ranging from 19 to 37. during questioning Researcher Heart admitted to utilizing SCP-XXXX-11 to brainwash and control the group.
