Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a secure locker at Site-19. Access for testing purposes is to be granted only Level 3 personnel or higher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a scrap of paper with After Us by Connie Wanek handwritten on it in cursive. When the piece of paper is read, the reader, now designated SCP-XXXX-1, will start to appear faded, growing steadily more transparent over a period of between 12 and 36 hours. During this time period, water, containing trace amounts of ink but otherwise consistent with normal rainwater, will begin to appear out of SCP-XXXX-1's pores. This water has no further anomalous properties. SCP-XXXX-1 loses mass equal to the amount of water that appears. SCP-XXXX-1 does not appear to fear pain during this period, rather, it experiences feelings of melancholy and sadness. The loss of water concludes at the end of the time period, when SCP-XXXX-1 completely fades from existences, leaving behind a total of approximately 20% of its bodymass in water behind.
