Printed manuscript of SCP-XXXX, with the entiety viewable in the upper center of the image. Anomalous properties will not manifest if viewed through a flat image.

Object Number: SCP-XXXX.

Object Class: Euclid.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is not to be removed from the center wall in St. George's Cathedral, ████, in any circumstances.

A twelve foot wall is to be constructed between the wall that houses SCP-XXXX and the other side of the cathedral. The seperation wall is to have a thickness of two feet, with ionized steel making up the interior of the wall, mixed with galvanized concrete. Furthermore, the seperation wall's exterior is to be decorated with white marble and engravings, designed to match the rest of the structure and prevent any suspicion.

SCP-XXXX's containment chamber may be accessed through an ionized steel trapdoor, located aproximately at the coordinates of - █ ██.

Object Description: SCP-XXXX is an ornate marble wall statue depicting an angel, dated to the late fourteenth century, which is currently located on the third wall of St. George's Cathedral, ████.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties will begin to take form when an individual is within three to eight meters of the structure, and viewing it head-on. Individuals who view the structure from an angle or through an obscured lens will not encounter any anomoulus events, as of █/█/███.

When an individual nears SCP-XXXX, a subject is reported to have been experiencing great unease, dread, anxiety, guilt and scorn, along with intense depression.

During this process, SCP-XXXX is able to relay past experiences back towards an individual, with past memories ranging from pleasant childhood memories to traumatic, difficult moments. This process is silent, though several subjects have been recorded experiencing great distress, including severe panic attacks. It is unknown if SCP-XXXX is able to 'probe' an individual twice, and at what frequency.

It is unknown if SCP-XXXX is sentient, or what posses the structure to 'prope' an individual. Furthermore, no pattern of individuals 'proped' have surfaced, along with no clear pattern of experiences, with no correlation between 'sad' and 'happy' moments. Because of this, the current hypothesis is that SCP-XXXX's main anomalous properties along with who it chooses to 'probe' are selected at random, and can differ per individual. As of █/█/███, ██ recorded SCP-XXXX events have occured, with a likely possibility of more being unaccounted for.

SCP-XXXX Addendum No. 1 (Written responses.) As of █/█/███, several written responses to SCP-XXXX's anomolus properties have been recorded.

Subject: Dominicus ???

Date: █/██/ ███.

Dr. ███ Langely's Notes: Subject and file are both dated to sometime in the late fifteen-hundreds. Subject has no last name but it can be refered that said subject was a priest, or senior clergy member. The original message had been written in Latin, but an English Translation is viewable below, alomg with the original Latin Text.

English Text: Holy Father, I speak to you as a son, and as a student. Most gracious father, I have sinned. Father, you know that I confess and I am sorry, I am guilty, I know, I won't do it again, My father.

I humbly accept my punishment, Father. Though this hump brings me great discomfort, I am forever Greatful.

Blessed be in your name, Father of the Divine.

Latin Translation:

Sancte Pater, et ego vobis dicam in filio, et quod studiosus. Clementissime Pater, peccavi. Pater fateor et me scitis quia ego paenitet, ego sum reus ego novi: nec ego operor illud, Pater.

Bonas preces suscipere poenam meam, Pater. Hoc tamen gibbi dilabetur introduxit me magna molestia greatful ego in aeternum.

Beati eritis in nomine Patris Ipsius Divini.

Subject: Unknown.

Date: Unknown. Carbon dating on the paper has produced inconclusive results, although the ink has been dated to the early thirties.

Dr. Langely: Subject may have a split personality, as a it apears another subject seems to have engaged in the writing of the note. Subject number two's writings are marked in italiacs, hypothized to be Subject's mother. It is unknown if SCP-XXXX is responsible for this split-personality, however.

Text: I'm sorry.

*No, you're not.

Mother, I-

*You're not sorry.*

I love you, and I want to… To do what I can, I want to be with you, I-

*I what?*

I- I said, Mother, that, that, I'll work and find a job, and, and we can…

*Work? Your Father can't, and you can?*

Mom, I Love you-

*You don't.*

I-

*Get Out.*

I'm sorry!

*Why won't you leave?*

I-

*I wish you'd leave.*

*You Wimp.*

Dr. Langely's Notes (Cont.) Subject has expressed great sympathy, and has seemingly been given difficult memories by SCP-XXXX. Perhaps the object is corrupting an already difficult memory?
