SCP-XXXX, viewed in containment, on the left. A Gallus gallus domesticus egg is viewable to the right. (Pictured for Size Difference.)

Object Number: SCP-XXXX.

Object Class: Euclid.

Special Containment Procedures SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a refrigerated, hermetically sealed containment cell, measuring approximately eight by eight meters. A glass window measuring two by two meters is to be installed across SCP-XXXX's containment cell, along with a measuring device designed to measure fractures, and determine overall structural integrity. An overnight skeleton crew consisting of three general doctors, are to be stationed at the containment cell, rotated on a twenty-four hour basis. Furthermore, one oologist1 is to monitor SCP-XXXX on a general basis.

Foundation Doctors are to record the amount of cracks that occur in a twenty-four hour cycle, appreciated hereby as RC/D. (Rate of Cracks, per 24 hour cycle.) As of █/█/████, SCP-XXXX has a RC/D rate of 3/24.2 On averge, cracks and fractures effecting SCP-XXXX measure roughly three milimeters.

Description:SCP-XXXX is an egg-like structure, possesing the anomolus proporties of being able to transmit information, change emotions and manipulate cognitive abilities in those viewing or in close range of the structure.

As noted above in the containment information, SCP-XXXX experiences a daily event in which a crack or fracture will apear causing structural damage, with the object predicted to break after about ██ cracks.

Subjects in range of SCP-3039 have reported a severe sense of unease and regret when near the object. Feelings of hurt, stress, anxiety, guilt and hopelessness have been reported, along with sudden compulsive urges.

As of █/█/███, all individuals in proximity have reported seeing a hallucination on which water begins to cover the current location along with the subject's place of birth and homeplace. Some individuals have reported seeing deceased loved-ones, missing pets and childhood toys in the hallucinations. It is unknown why some subjects have reported seeing said anomolies while others have not.

Furthermore, all subjects have reported a strong urge to break, harm, or to destroy SCP-XXXX. As of █/█/███, it is unclear why this behavior occurs.
