[[tab Schrodinger's Man]]
Item #: SCP-4860
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the self-containing nature of SCP-4860, it is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment chamber with no surveillance unless being used for testing or being interacted with. SCP-4860 is not to be allowed to hold objects that are fragile or easily shattered if dropped.
Description: SCP-4860 is a plain looking man in his late 20's. Aside from the anomalous properties to SCP-4860, it seems to have no physical or emotional abnormalities. SCP-4860 is regularly very friendly but not very conversational, preferring to remain quiet unless spoken to directly. It has shown on many occasions to be generally helpful and compliant to all instructions given.
When SCP-4860 is not being observed or interacted with, it simply ceases to exist. Any method of direct contact with SCP-4860 will result in SCP-4860 "popping" back into existence exactly where it was when it disappeared exactly as if it never moved. SCP-4860 seems unaware and unaffected by this effect and has described it as feeling like an instant time hop.
Tests and Experiments:
Test 4860-1
| Protocol | SCP-4860 is to stand on a weight scale opposite of an observing researcher. Researcher is to make general small talk with SCP-4860. Researchers outside of testing area will then record the change in pressure on the weight scale. |
