Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to remain unobstructed from motorists so as to maintain normalcy. However, SCP-XXXX must be monitored at all times using traffic cameras placed at various points along the route with night vision capability. At least one (1) Level 2 Foundation personnel must be present at all times, in rotating shifts, acting as an on-duty police officer.
A Foundation-posted sign has been placed at the nearby rest-stop indicating that rest periods can be no longer than four (4) hours long between the times of 18:00 and 8:00. No rest periods are allowed outside of these specifications. If these conditions are not adhered to, the stationed Foundation personnel must interfere.
Upon the discovery of empty vehicles or unattended personal belongings, these items must be retrieved and discarded. Any experiments must be approved by head researcher Dr. Schwartz.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation for a section of road stretching 10 kilometres and located in the province of ████████████, Canada. Motorists travelling along this road who decide to stop and rest will quickly slip into the REM cycle, entering SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a similar, dream version, of SCP-XXXX, but with the exceptions of a constant night cycle, a low-running fog, lack of any visible night sky, and two circular white lights in the distance. Subjects who enter SCP-XXXX-1 do not realise that they are dreaming and do not remember previously travelling along a similar road. Subject will also be compelled to walk towards the lights, believing them to be the headlights of an oncoming vehicle that could possibly assist them. However, the lights stay stationary. Additionally, the length of time it takes for the subject to reach the lights seems to be dependent on the time of day the subject falls asleep: longer during the night, immediately during the day. As the subject gradually approaches the lights, the outline of SCP-XXXX-2 becomes visible.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a large bipedal creature measuring approximately 6 meters in height, but other sightings have ranged from 4 meters to 12 meters tall. Further features of SCP-XXXX-2 have also ranged from it having perceived fur to plated scales, or a large mouth with jagged teeth to no mouth at all. However, its most consistent feature is its pair of brightly luminescent, pure white eyes that encompass approximately sixty (60) percent of its face.
